My name is Ann Murphy and I come originally from Southern Ireland, having been born in Sydney, Australia to Irish parents. I grew up in Co. Kilkenny, moved to Dublin when I was ten years old, and then, after my parents divorced, moved to Southern Spain where I lived with my mother and two of my siblings.

At fourteen, I moved back to Dublin to live with my father and Danish stepmother and lived with them until I was nineteen.  I moved to the UK ten years later and then in 2011, I moved to Egypt, where I live still.

I do most of the energy work here in Egypt with my husband, Omar, and with a friend, Chris Bishop, from the UK, who I have known for twenty years and with whom I learned the Gaia Method. He acted as an energy source/booster as he is very psychic, as is Omar. We were all three destined to do this work together.

I have been a healer since 1994 when I first began my development by taking a tarot course with Rosemary Prince and a couple of years later I had my first Reiki attunement from a friend of mine who did the most beautiful attunement I have ever experienced.

After that, I was an energy junkie and wanted to fill myself up and learn as much as I could.   I wanted to know everything. I read everything I could get my hands on about Initiation, ascension and channelling. My desire was to expand as much as was humanly possible. Until I did an ascension workshop in Egypt in 2000, after which I came crashing back down to earth! At that time too, I did a Life between Lives regression session with Andy Tomlinson and it forever changed my life. Having connected to my soul, and the reality of who I am and why I am here, my life took on a new direction.

During all of this time, in between my spiritual development as a Reiki/Karuna/Usui/Tibetan, Seichem/Sekhem/Kundalini and Magnified Healing Teacher, I also trained as a psychodynamic counsellor and specialised in Abuse, Rape, and Domestic Violence. Later, I studied Practical Archaeology, which was invaluable in learning to understand the processes of the past and how to tune into time layers within the landscape. I also qualified as an NLP practitioner and massage therapist.

It was only a few months after doing the workshop in Egypt with Anrita Melchizadek that I learned how to do earth healing. But at that time, I did not realise that my guides were teaching me an entire system. I also did workshops with Jhadten Jewell and it all came together, slowly, slowly. Everything I ever learned, and every attunement I ever received, helped me develop my ability to channel, first ‘upper’ level energies and then Earth-level energies.

But after a seventh level initiation with Anrita, I found that I could no longer go ‘up’. My energy focus had shifted to ‘earth’ and I learned how to work with the earth’s energy field and the collective unconscious. During this time my guides began to slowly give me the Gaia Method Earthways symbols and they have been teaching me ever since.

I have been passing attunements for nearly thirty years now and as a result, have learned much. Every attunement teaches me something new.

There are now many Gaia Method Earthways healers working away quietly in all parts of the world. We tend to be quite private people, working like hermits often, but always in a service-oriented way, invisible but actively working in the ‘real’ world.  Some of us work with the earth and its history, others with nature, and still others channel writing and art. Everybody’s path is unique.

Part of this work, for me, is in writing channelled fiction and doing art and illustration, which I am now developing.
