The Seven Initiations, or Gateway Initiations, are seven energetic Soul initiations that follow the ancient traditions of Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iran, and other civilisations worldwide. Each Gateway increases the energy that can be held in the energy-field and heals old beliefs and fears at each level. Each gate initiates a process whereby you are challenged to let go of expectations; assumptions about the nature of reality, and deeply held emotional needs. Once you have successfully gone through the challenges, you come out with a more expanded vision of life and a deep understanding of the life of the Soul in incarnation on earth.

In the Gaia Method Earthways, each gateway is an expansion of the ability to channel the white flame of the Goddess. In the past, each initiate was put through a test which strengthened their ability to serve whichever goddess/god they were affiliated with. There may have been different initiations for men and for women but all were designed to strip away the outer veils – all seven of them – so that the initiate learned to surrender to divine will and to overcome their fears.

Not everyone who does the Gaia Method Earthways training goes through these gates. Of the hundreds of people attuned to these energies only ten have had the Gateway initiations and of those ten only three have done all seven, with one person close to completion. The Gateways can take years to go through, sometimes decades and not everyone will go through them all. They go as far as they have chosen to, as far as their development requires. Again, this is defined by the Goddess and by our guides. They know our soul path better than we do.

The Gateways are gone through in a physical setting, one which was historically a sacred site or one which is currently in use as one. Like the Temple initiations, I never know who is going to be initiated into the Gateways until it happens. It is something I have no control over. Like the saying goes, with a slight amendment: ‘When the student is ready, the initiation appears.’

The choice of site is intuitive, as your energy needs match the site’s energy. The place becomes significant in terms of its overall energy. Often, I don’t know when a person is ready to go through a gate, it happens in the moment. Although the person might know they are ready for one. The more you develop, the more this becomes the norm. You will also know where the gateway is. It might be a place in which you have gone through other gates, but it will be on a different level and in a different way. Each gateway is suited to the person’s energy, and designed to initiate their growth, so no two are ever the same, for anybody.

This is how the Goddess describes the energy activations of each gateway:

Serving means healing. To follow the path with purpose means to strip away all impediments to divine will, to overcome fears, to challenge old identities, to become the Divine. This is not to say you become God-like, rather that you learn to express yourselves through the goddess’/god energy you embody; becoming that divinity. It is not for us to say that you must become so and so, but for you to decide who you want to become. The further you progress along the path of initiation, the more powerful you become, but also the more accepting. Where there is power there is inevitably struggle, but this power brings life and where there is life there is hope.

In energetic terms, I will describe how the seven gates work and what levels you attain as you traverse each one. These images are how my guides showed me. The flame in the temple is the amount of energy you can hold in your energy field.

The Goddess (she will be whatever goddess temple you are affiliated with on the inner levels) brings you into an energetic temple with white pillars and in the centre is a white flame the same height as you. In this flame, there is a white dragon as if the flame is made of its energy. Each initiation is held in this temple.

For the first initiation, standing in the flame, you become the flame. This is your spiritual energy capacity, and it ignites the vibration of change in your energy field. This first initiation acclimatises you to holding this vibrational energy. In physical reality, the initiation will occur at any place where a sacred energy is held.

Sometimes I only become aware that the gateway is about to be gone through because it will simply appear. It is not planned because it is very much about the Soul’s readiness. Equally, I have no idea what challenges will come up after an initiation. But I do know what the energies are, and that they are different for everyone because everyone has a different path to follow, even though they are Goddess/God centred. As I said before, each gateway will strip away old beliefs and fears that get in the way of your progression to embodying the power of divinity. To embody this energy, step by step you have to let go of everything you hold important. You don’t necessarily lose them, you just see them differently and therefore can let go when necessary.

In the second initiation, the flame increases until it reaches the roof of the temple. In the third, the flame reaches into outer space. This indicates the level of your influence and ability to work with this spiritual energy. After the fourth initiation the white flame energy can be used consciously, expanding it out through your field to affect change externally.

In the fifth gateway experience, the Diamond Merkaba is anchored, although this can happen for some people before this depending on what they have already learned. The diamond Merkaba expands your field to the nine levels of the earth’s energy field, from your centre.

The sixth gateway attunes you to working with the black serpent energies of the earth. Reaching this level means you have gained enough knowledge of working with your own darkness, in your emotional and mental bodies, to work within the collective darkness, healing as you delve deeper. Even if you don’t feel like you can, reaching this level tells you you can.

The final, and seventh, gateway expands the energy to an unlimited degree. You are now the transformed butterfly of the first attunement into the Gaia Method Earthways. Your field can hold and anchor energies easily knowing you have enough self-awareness to begin working with particular tools on behalf of humanity.

With each successive gateway your ability to channel the white flame increases until, eventually, your sphere of energetic influence is unlimited. With each increase in influence, however, there is an equal and corresponding letting go and also of gaining new experience. These gateways initiate change in your energy field, change which benefits humanity on many levels.

But only your own Soul knows how far you want to go. Trust it. It might not be your path to complete all seven gates and that is fine. No matter how many you do, or even if you do none at all, that is what your Soul requires.

Another lesson in acceptance.
