The Effects of Healing. Part One.

One of the most important things I have learned with healing is to be patient and to trust that the energies I have received or given, will take time to unfold. Today, we expect instant results, an instant pain-free life, and instant change, but that is not how healing works. Your inner-self has its own awareness and knows how to use the energy you have received to benefit you in the best way.

I began to learn this lesson quite early on in my Reiki life. I needed some practice of hands-on healing and an elderly neighbour had bad arthritis and was in a lot of pain. She asked me if I could give her some healing so I agreed. I didn’t charge for it as she was giving me practice time. I thought I was there to help with her physical issues, but as it turned out her soul had other ideas.

I worked with her once a week for nearly a year, and during that time, as we built trust and as it usually happens with Reiki, she shared her history. Since she was a child she had experienced sexual and emotional abuse and eventually married a man who had also abused her and her children. She was a very tiny, thin woman who couldn’t say Boo to a goose and she had felt completely powerless in her marriage, unable to deal with her husband and his behaviour.

After a year, I could no longer work with her due to external changes in my life and she went to a local healer for a few weeks. Her arthritis seemed to be no better but other changes were happening internally.

I met her again a year later and she told me what had been going on in her life. I had heard that she had had issues with her husband and their grandchild. She had discovered that he had started to abuse her only grandchild and she could not stand back and watch him destroy another generation of children. So she reported him to the police and then was a witness against him in court. She kicked him out of the family home and he spent two years in prison.

I was amazed. This tiny, bird-like woman had enough power to stand up to a man who had abused her for years and had made her life, and the life of her children, an absolute misery.

I met her again a couple of years later, and she told me how she was getting on. Her husband had completed his sentence, but she had never abandoned him. Throughout his ordeal, she had continued to support him, but in a strong, healthy way. She was able to be firm and clear but never lost her compassion for him, seeing him as another wounded soul.

I have no idea what happened with her arthritis but her life was healthier and happier because she had changed internally, letting go of the belief that it was her fault that she had been sexually abused as a child. Because she had let go of that belief she did not have to sit back and watch her children being abused and she didn’t have to put up with being abused herself. That combination of energy, talking and emotional release helped her to heal.

The healing didn’t turn out as we consciously expected it to though, and it certainly didn’t happen over-night. It took a few years for the process to clear the abuse energy from her system, so that she could see the truth and have the strength to make different choices.

For me, the arthritis was a symptom of the emotions and damage she had been carrying since childhood, and although in the beginning, when I didn’t quite understand how healing worked, I thought I was a failure for not ‘curing’ her. It was only when everything had changed for her that I began to understand the nature of healing. Thankfully, when I was working with her, I was also training as a psychodynamic counsellor, specialising in Sexual abuse and Domestic violence. So I was able to ‘hear’ her story in the first place.

This experience taught me a number of lessons.

  1. I have no control over what another person truly needs when it comes to healing.
  2. It takes time! Nothing is achieved overnight. There are layers of emotions, and these are linked to beliefs we formed as a result of our experiences and these all take time to shift and heal. So even though the person receiving the healing might also be expecting instant change, it doesn’t work that way. Everything takes time.
  3. Healing is often not what we expect. We might ‘think’ that we are healing something specific, but the Soul of the person receiving healing knows exactly what needs to change and that might be the complete opposite of what you thought needed healing. Trust is most important here.
  4. What seems like ‘failure’ to you, might be exactly what your client needs. This takes us to a whole other level of healing. While I was training as a counsellor, one of the things we were taught was that often it is our failure as therapists that helps the client the most. Why? Because it exposes feelings related to past disappointments, feelings that can be faced and released. If we are always the person the client needs us to be, consciously, then how can they know their deepest feelings? For healers, this is difficult to accept. We become healers to heal because we care. Our last desire is to let someone down. But often we do, and that’s OK, when we do it with awareness. There is often a higher purpose for that. (I’ll write more about failure and disappointment in another post.)
  5.  We are not responsible for another person’s choices nor are we in control of their path. How their Soul uses the energy we channel to them is entirely up to them. They will use it, or not, in whatever way is appropriate for them.
  6. Boundaries are extremely important. This has been a difficult lesson for me, as I experienced much sexual abuse in my youth. Boundaries in a therapeutic space are what keep you safe. If you have an arrangement, stick to it, unless something major happens. If you charge for your work, make it clear and don’t be afraid to ask for payment. Your time and experience are important. But that doesn’t mean you should charge out of people’s reach!
  7. Know your own limitations. You are human and will learn a lot through working with other people. You too are healing, and your client’s issues often match your own! Work on what comes up for you. “Your client can go only as far as you have gone”. If you haven’t healed aspects of your own life then your client can’t go beyond that either. However, the joy of being a healer, is that you too receive the energy as it passes through you, so you can move forward too. But you need your own healing in order to shift.
  8. Let go, and trust in the over-arching awareness of the Source and your own Soul and guides. Have faith especially that your client’s soul knows exactly what she needs and just be the channel and listener. Letting go is possibly the hardest one to learn, but it is an absolute requirement. Not everyone will accept your healing, not everyone will understand it and often, when they haven’t had an overnight shift, after all, they came to you to be healed, then they will leave you to find another miracle -worker. Let it go. You did your best.

Hopefully, by now you understand a little more about the nature of healing. I will post a few more of my experiences, especially when I began to receive the Gaia Method, so that you can know that whatever you are doing is perfectly OK. So long as your intention is to do your best and with the Soul’s awareness of what is necessary, then all will be well…even though it is not what you thought, and sometimes hoped, it would be.

I will take these points and expand on them in following posts. I hope they are of some help to you in your own journey.

The Lemurians…Clarified.

2 October 2016.

0b29b2efc76c1a8219b48cb0caf8c0cc“Earlier, you guessed at our identities, and it served you at the time, and it served us too, but now you seek the truth of who we are, and rightly so.

We are not so old as to be forgotten, but not so young as you might imagine. Although ‘Lemuria’, as your present time defines it, did not exist in ‘reality’, our civilisation did exist within the time frame of that believed to be Lemurian.  We are an ancient race, older than the hills, literally, as your mountain ranges were beneath our seas and were our seabed.

We made up many races and many lifeforms, just as you do today, and some of us were wise and others not so wise, just as you also are today. But the wisdom we garnered, over many years of development, is what we share with you now.

There was not one name that applied to our races, for we were many, just as there is not one name for your human civilisation. Perhaps you will enter the collective psychic atmosphere and be known as “The Humans” to future races on earth, but that is not your ‘name’. You see how difficult it is?

We were a race of cultures, trying to develop qualities, in much the same way as your human race is doing. We were successful enough. The Abramic culture was a bleed-through from unresolved issues that we left behind us, and this is why we take this opportunity to help you with these challenges. We take a measure of responsibility for these beliefs and so we choose to resolve this issue by helping those souls to overcome the negative beliefs that we ourselves planted, albeit unwittingly!

Time will tell whether we can do this satisfactorily, for mankind has taken a different route to the one we took, and it is more difficult to break-through when such energy is being forced outwards. Your race is yet young and you have come so far but now it is time for change. It is time for mankind to change direction and so we help you to steer in that new direction.

You can continue to call us Lemurian, as that name helps you to identify our energy. But you know the truth, and we are glad that you asked for it. It is always better to face the truth, than to live a lie and so we say to you, never settle for something unless you feel it in your bones. Untruths can be scattered to the four winds, but the truth will always endure because it is the truth.

picsart_10-06-03-03-22-3

Symbol to hold in your mind if you wish to connect to ‘Lemurian’ consciousness.

We are ‘rooted’ like a great tree, and although it may lose its leaves, and it may wither and die, the memory of it remains. And so it is with us. We remain in the Aethers, and you can tap into our memories at certain places where those energies remain. If you would like a symbol to connect to us then use this: a simple white feather in a sea of green and gold, will suffice. That is our energy signature and if you wish to connect with us, use this energy and we will enable communications.

Thank you and we wish you well in your endeavours.”

This information came about because of my own unease with the name lemurians, even though I had received both teachings and information from this ancient civilisation. But I have a need for the ‘real’ in my work, even though to others everything I do might not seem ‘real’.

When I first began to channel, or ‘listen’ I told the energies communicating with me not to give me any airy-fairy flowery language. I wanted the info to be clear and un-New Agey! I wanted it to be practical and usable, not wonderful sounding fantasies that got people no-where except more stuck in their heads!

I hadn’t really given the Lemurians much thought for many years, but as I was going through old, received information I posted some of it here. However, I still felt uneasy about the name, so I looked up where the name came from. It was a biologist named Philip Sclater who first began to use the name. So I asked the Elders who the Lemurians really were! And this was their answer.

great_tree_by_hazzard65-d5968avHaving studied Archaeology I knew that our ‘present’ spiritual belief about lost continents was not true. Studying archaeology really helped me to separate fact from fiction in my energy work. And receiving the info I needed from the horse’s mouth helps me to understand the truth of these ancient civilisations, even though archaeology does not hold with theories of previous civilisations on earth. But the earth does not lie and geology is geology, so I can accept the fact of the Lemurians knowing that they existed, just not necessarily in the way we think.

So I am grateful to them for clarifying this for me.

Communicating with Trees.

treemanCommunicating with Trees is very simple. You just sit, or stand, with your back against the tree trunk and you intend that your energy-field blends with the energy-field of the tree. You imagine that both your ‘fields’ are One. Then you wait! If you are with a Dryad, and this will be pretty clear already because you will feel something different about the tree, then you just keep your inner senses open and watch to see what happens. The tree might need your help, to clear it or to change its field, or something entirely unexpected. Or it might share with you, its energy. It might send impressions into your mind telling you what it needs. You just have to be open to whatever  you receive.

It does take some trust, and sensitivity to energy communication, but once you have done it you will always recognise the energy. Sometimes, even just passing a Dryad, it will make it’s presence felt. As you walk through its huge energy-field you may ‘imagine’ that the tree is an old man, or an old woman. Don’t dismiss this feeling as you are picking up the age of the Dryad. You will ‘know’ which of the trees is the Dryad.

Dryads are easy to recognise as they seem to ‘pull’ your awareness of their energy to them, through love and appreciation. You might be out walking and suddenly feel how beautiful a tree is. Your heart feelings are triggered. No matter how old, or young a Dryad is, you will feel a heart connection. DSCN0315

Trees which are close to human habitation are often ‘memory-holders, especially ones near churches or old human settlements! So they might choose to share with you the history of where they grow. That can be fascinating. Some of these trees, especially yew trees, grow to a very old age, so they can hold vast amounts of memory-energy.

Trees that are about to be felled, for one reason or another, might need other assistance, such as requesting that you hold the energy until either a new tree is planted, or another tree can be found to hold the energy elsewhere.

Some trees will communicate with you that they need to be cleared of negative energy, or healed, on some level. Just follow your impulses and do what the tree requests, just as you would a person. Sometimes trees are so filled with negative energy, such as toxic fumes from human existence, that there is nothing you can do for them. In those instances you just have to honour the experience of the tree, recognising their sacrifice to the environment. You could send those trees your appreciation of its work.

The more time you spend around Dryad’s, and within their energy-field, the more you will pick up the energy that they are picking up from the Earth’s consciousness. They know more about the world, and it’s future, than we do!

B0004259Sometimes when a tree wishes to communicate with you you will feel a ‘pulling’ sensation in your belly. It is literally ‘pulling’ your awareness to itself so that you stop and ‘talk’. Once you have stopped, with the intention of listening, you will know what to do, or the tree will show you what it is doing.

Trees always remind me of elephants! I think it must be because they are so huge and the fact that they hold memory. They also know what is coming for the world. After my last experience with the young beech tree in Farley Mount Woods I received this channelling. That made me realise that the tree’s connection to the earth means a lot more than I originally understood. They not only connect us to the past they also give us information about the future!

So when you blend your energy with a tree, be aware that anything could happen. Thankfully trees are way smarter than us and only give us what we are energetically able to manage. Another lesson we can learn from them.

I lately received a book I had been wanting for a long time, by Dorothy Maclean, one of the founders of Findhorn. Call of the Trees. Well worth buying if you want to work with tree consciousness. One of the most important messages which trees impart is the need for old, large trees. In cutting down our ancient trees we are cutting ourselves off from their important work. Not only do they do what we already know but they also transmit forces of energy into their surroundings, as I’ve already experienced. As the tree devas say:

We would emphasise the absolute necessity to have large trees for the well-being of the land. The control of such things as rainfall is often in our hands, but as well we draw forth inner radiances, which are as necessary to the land as rain.”

They say that mature trees are the skin of this world; take them away and the whole creature can no longer function, but dries up and dies. We need to be working with trees.B0003840

In the words of the Deva (overall consciousness) of the trees:

“Just tune into nature until you feel the love flow. That is your arrow into the Deva world. It does not matter if there is a message or not, it is the state which counts. Always it is your state which nature responds to, not what you say, not what you do, but who you are.”

From the Beech tree:

“When you are receptive to us, it is as if you are part of our forces; you blend in and you like it, and we like it. When you are not so tuned in, you are cut off and there is no contact between us. We send a blessing in this rare contact. We bless all who come within our influence, but generally it falls on barren ground. Still, we pour our blessing down in everlasting benediction, unmoved, as you come and go your various ways. Your reception repays us a hundred-fold and we give thanks to our creator.”

Working with the Earth’s Magnetic Fields. (2008)

When I first received this information I had little idea what this meant. I had to learn to hold large amounts of energy and understand the concepts of ‘layers’ before I was ready. Much of the work I do in the land is through these layers. I was given tools to help connect the layers beneath the earth with those above. Some of the layers were geological, some energetic and others physical. Some too were anchored in ‘Time’. But this channelling explains exactly what we are doing, and why. Some of the work we are called to do clears human emotional debris from these layers, leaving them clear for the future learning of incarnating souls. Sometimes this includes spirit-rescue, one of the focuses of this cleansing which I love. The Gaia Method Earthways is the training these earth-workers from previous earth civilisations speak about and many of the tools that are part of the system are for this purpose.

15 million years ago the world was a very different place. Continents existed that no longer exist in your world. These places now lie beneath your feet; they are in the deepest oceans or compressed by the weight of tons of ice. But in the deepest places of the earth, the canyons, the sea bed and the caverns in the earth, these regions are still accessible.

Beneath the earth’s core lies another world: the place of divine creation. This world is constantly ‘in process’, creating the magnetic fields that power your earth and keep you alive. This world we speak of is not a physical place, it is magnetic. It supplies the power to the earth’s surface. Without this energy, your world would not exist. This is why the interaction between the elemental worlds of Earth, Air, Fire and Water are so crucial to your understanding of the Earth’s magnetic fields. Without these elements, the magnetic field would have nothing to ‘work upon’ or to ‘act upon’. Its ‘job of creation’ is to regulate the force fields of each element, which is why you find many healers working with the different elements. All are needed if the world is to remain in balance.

Our work, in your prehistoric past, was also to regulate the world. We did this in much the same way we are teaching you today. In times past, we too understood the volcanic nature of creation and strove always to work in harmony with it, choosing our times carefully and with foresight. We knew the result of our actions would affect the entire planet’s energy field and so we worked diligently to repair it and maintain its efficiency.

The magnetic core, at the centre of the earth, is regulated by other, more cosmic energies. It is held in place , energetically like a ball on many cable-strong strings. Whenever this forcefield changed, so also did our work, but we strove to work in harmony with the earth’s forcefield so that all life would succeed.

There are layers of patterns, working in harmony with each other, and all layers require different expertise. But all must work in harmony. This is why it is so important for those who work on their particular layer to be trained to trust their intuition, and vision, so that the patterns can be re-instated, or changed as necessary. Each elemental world requires its own patterning. The sea world requires the use of magnetic flows capable of ‘swimming’ the currents. Like giant sea serpents, they meander along specific ‘highways’. Earth currents do likewise but require a different attention than those of the sea. The waterways that flow through the landscape require yet another form of energy regulation, if they are to flow in harmony with the other forms of life, and so on.

Working in harmony with each element is vital to the success of the planet.

Other networks of energy flow through the deeper layers of the earth which cannot be accessed by humanity for they lie too deep beneath the earth’s crust. These energy flows are regulated by outside forces, forces which you have not yet come into contact with, for that is not in your realm of experience. Suffice it to say that all is taken care of, either by humanity’s healers, the earth’s healers or the cosmic balancers.

If you would allow us, we will now teach you to maintain the earth’s energy flows that run throughout the earth’s crust on even deeper layers. These are layers which our civilisation would have been familiar with but which your archaeologists have never discovered. These layers lie within a circle of fire which you can access by going within. All parts of the world contain these rings of fire but only some are visible.

Allow us to share our world with you.

Trees and Dryads. Introduction.

DSCN0043
Dryad in the Churchyard of a deserted famine village on Achill Island, Ireland.

Trees play a very important role in the maintenance of balance on the earth, not only physically, but also energetically.  Some of them also have a consciousness, which we call Dryads. It was no accident that the first Gaia Method symbols were given to me by a Dryad, as they hold the elemental wisdom of the trees.  But not all trees have a Dryad energy. Dryads are tree spirits and they connect to all other trees within a given area. The Dryad is not a woodland sprite, who runs around the branches and skips amongst the leaves; it is the living spirit within a tree, a spirit which you can communicate with if you choose to. Communicating with Dryads is simply a matter of trust and recognition.

There are thousands of Dryads in the world. Most of the Dryads I have worked with were in woods, or forests, or on Earth energy-lines. They can be of any age and you can usually ‘feel’ their age, but usually the older the tree, the older the Dryad.  They can also inhabit any species of tree. I have worked with Ash, Olive, Fig, Ficus Benjamina, Beech, Larch, Pine, Hawthorn, and Oak, amongst others. The ones that feel to me to have the most ‘human-like’ personality are the Beech trees. You can have whole conversations with the Beech Dryads! They seem to be very easy to access and are very ‘giving’ with their energy. Other species are doing definite jobs, which you can help with, but they do not communicate in quite the same way as Beech trees.

Dryads also hold an energetic space around themselves. They can have huge energy-fields that cover a large area. They are not limited by their physicality, just as we are not. We think we are; the trees know they are not! When working with a Dryad, we are within its energy-field, even though we need to be in physical contact with the tree’s physical self. We are all in a physical body but we all have an energy-field. Often, when in the presence of a Dryad energy it feels like wind in the branches, which suddenly whips up and fills the air.  Sometimes it feels like the entire area is filled with this ‘wind’, and there is a definite sensing of energy in it that communicates with you. It is a whole body, mind and emotional experience, so there is no mistaking it when you feel it.

The roots of trees can anchor the energy-lines which run throughout the earth, transmitting the energy from those lines into the atmosphere, keeping it clear. However, these trees can also become very clogged, energetically, by human negativity and destruction. These trees then transmit all of that energy into their surroundings, because they will transmit whatever runs through the lines. They don’t have any judgement about whether it is good or bad, they just channel it from the earth and into the air, affecting the energy around it. If the energy flow is denser or filled with negative human energy then, over time it effects the tree,  leading ultimately to its death.    I have used the roots of trees to anchor the red lines, the ones which come from deep beneath the earth. When they need to be brought closer to the surface, or even created, then a tree is usually what holds them in place.  Once it does this, then the tree is effected by it and holds the energy for its surroundings. The energy from the line energises the tree.

Dryads often have a definite feeling of gender. They can be perceived as male or female, young or old. Some of them are so old it is as if they are just ‘present’ within the tree and their wisdom is all around them, but they do not communicate, so much as radiate; just being.  But you know they are there because they ‘feel’ different.

When I first started working with Dryads, I thought that all trees held this type of consciousness. But then I tried to communicate with some trees and discovered that they felt like Trees, but had no Dryad energy. When I tried to blend my energy with a non-conscious tree, the feelings were incredibly subtle and initially, I thought I was feeling nothing. But then I began to experience the tree’s experience of Time, and how the seasons changed around it. There was this constant awareness of movement within the seasons and cycles of change, which went on forever. At first, I couldn’t understand why this was all I was picking up, but then realised that not all trees had a Dryad energy within them.

A friend tuning into Beech Dryad at Coldridge Woods Banjo settlement.

My very first Tree contact was with an ancient Yew tree, close to  Lainston House Hotel, near Winchester, in the 90’s. I had gone rambling through the woods, as I love exploring new paths, and I had found myself beside a huge old Yew tree which I felt an impulse to stand against. As soon as I leaned my back against the tree, I became aware of it being connected to all the trees around it, through the earth. It was as though it was communicating with the other trees and somehow ‘broadcasting’ to them and into the environment. It felt amazing.  In many ways it acted like a satellite dish, but there was something in the communication which was about keeping the balance within the area. The Yew tree felt like the Elder and the rest of the trees in the woods felt like its children!

That experience awakened something in me, which, at the time, I didn’t fully understand until many years later. But ever since that experience, I was able to sense the energy in and around the Dryads.

Many trees live on the cross-over points of energy-lines, and they hold the energy which runs through the lines, acting as both anchor and transmitter. I remember one Ancient Ash tree, which lived on a boundary ditch that had once been part of a village deserted during the plague years. It had grown in the garden of one of the cottages, and even though the village was no longer there, the tree remained. When I was around this tree, it felt like I was in a cathedral, the energies were so light and spiritual. I was new to working with energy-lines and nature energies back then, but this tree’s energy was palpable. It felt like a Grail site, but I had  no idea what that meant. I loved this tree, and its wonderful energy, and took a lot of friends to visit it over the years. (Years later, I discovered that this ash tree grew in the grounds of the village church, now no longer there. The building itself was long gone, but the tree remained, harnessing the church’s wonderful sacred energy).

swallowhead spring
Beautiful photo of Swallowhead Spring. (Not mine)

Dryads can often be found living on, or near sacred sites, even if that site is no longer there.  The energy, however, is, and the memories live on. Trees living around the energy of old churches, which were often built on pre-existing sacred sites, act like elephants and have a very long memory. You can tap into this energy by tuning into the tree. It is a little like psychometry!

One of the most important things I learned with trees is that they do not judge what we humans do, they just continue with their ‘function’ without becoming ‘upset’ about it. Many people working with trees tend to ‘project’ their own emotions and beliefs about the tree, onto the tree itself. The tree can have a very different idea of what it finds ‘acceptable’. To give you an example: Once I went to Swallowhead Spring, at West Kennet Long Barrow. There, people had left lots of ribbons and crystals and ‘stuff’, which to my human mind seemed more like littering. But as I was thinking this and feeling quite pee’d off about the lack of respect people seemed to have for the site, the tree that grew beside the spring put her feeling of gratitude into my consciousness. I was quite surprised. She said she was really happy the site was being honoured by humans again, as it had once been, and she didn’t mind their offerings. It brought love to a neglected place which once honoured the Mother. I had to completely shift my perspective about what was acceptable and what was not after that. My human mind had simply projected my personal beliefs onto the site, and the Tree; I have never done it since. Although I do think that the stuff needs cleaning up now and again, so that it does not end up clogging the area.

Danebury Hillfort, Hampshire.

If you want to know what a tree really feels, then ask it. If you feel a negative emotional response, such as anger, sadness etc. then those are probably your feelings getting in the way. Trees don’t feel like we do, they are far more accepting of our failings than we are. I have never met an angry or sad tree. They are far closer to the Source, or God, or whatever you want to call it than we are. When you are in communication with trees, you are in communication with the Divine. Experientially it feels exactly the same. It feels joyful, accepting, loving and giving. Even when they are holding human negative energy, they still do not judge it. It just IS! To me, they feel far closer to our Soul’s experience, than to our human one… and our human perspective can be very limited.

I will post some of my experiences with trees, so that you can get an idea of just how to work with them and how they operate; then, if you have similar experiences you will know what they might mean. I would also love to hear some of your stories and communications, no matter how crazy your experiences might seem to be.

There are Tree energies available as an attunement within the Gaia Method Earthways System: symbols which give you the ability to access the Dryad energy.

The Chalice/Grail.

This was written while I was still living in Egypt.

As with the Sword, again we are dealing with Arthurian myth, and also ancient symbols. These energies have many functions, but the prime energetic function of the chalice is a vessel, a vessel which holds divine energies. It is not an attunement energy, but something that you become as you continue to clear out your own personal issues – and devote yourself to service of the Planet and its healing. You become the vessel of Divine energies. This means you are an open channel and have agreed, with your guides and Elders, to be the receptacle of energies which can be placed or used in the environment to bring balance and healing.

Sometimes, when I am passing an attunement I am holding a chalice and giving a communion wafer to someone. This is usually because I am going to be giving a specific energy to someone. The communion wafer is the energy of the Mother. It is her ‘bread’, the bread of life which sustains us and is given as a gift from her chalice, her vessel. The ‘communion bread’ is her substance but it has also been charged with the Divine Masculine Solar energies and so it is a balance of both. But it remains symbolic of the knowledge and sustenance that is the gift of Mother Earth, to us. It is her divine gift of ‘communion’, in its real sense. Communing means to get very close to something or someone. Taking this communion into your body can’t get much closer that that.

The following was written while I living in Egypt: “Yesterday, while I was writing and listening to music, I felt the need to raise my arms up. This is usually when I am about to receive energies from ‘Upstairs’. One of the energies I brought down was a large communion wafer, like the one the Catholic priest places in his mouth during the mass ritual. I knew this meant I was about to pass on a larger amount of energy than usual  and as my friend Chris (without whom the Gaia Method Earthways would never have happened) is coming to Luxor for a month, and will go through  his sixth gateway initiation, I imagine it will be for him. So, again, the energies which you need will often be given in advance. All you have to do is be open to receive it.”

When you are about to do energywork, your guides place the necessary energies into your centre, your lower Tan Tien behind the nevel). It can feel as though you are an open cup which is being filled, and this feeling can be very physical, like there is something heavy in your belly. These energies are very real and, like the water energies of the ‘umbilical’, you will carry them until you have placed them where they need to be.  winchfishchalice2

Once you have become the energies of the Grail, you are also then able to anchor that energy in the earth. While I was working in Winchester with Chris and Eartha, we had to join energy lines together – over a period of time. (We had received our ‘instructions and downloads’ at the Chalice Well in Glastonbury). Together these lines joined into an archetypal energyfield of fish, Chalice and crib, joined together to create the energies of male and female fertility.

In this image, the chalice is the two yellow lines which cross. Each point, and end of a line, joins to a sacred site. The fish encompasses the whole image representing the fertility of water.i.e. the river Itchen. (I will deal with the fish energy in another post). We didn’t know what was going to be the outcome, but we followed our directions, anchoring and walking a line until it became apparent that what we were doing was creating an archetypal energyfield in the landscape.

The entire energy is the Fish in the Chalice which leads to a divine Birthing (Crib) of energies in Winchester. I am aware that much of this work appears in Christian symbols, but these symbols are ageless and were incorporated into Christian religion because they are potent symbols of power and contain universal meaning. The fish is a symbol of the fertility that comes from the water. The cauldron, I believe, is the precurser to the grail/chalice, women traditionally being the keepers of the cauldron and sacred wells. The masculine principle joins with the feminine energies in the landscape to create the birth of new thinking, new ways of living which are more in tune with the land, and new life; a wondrous creation.

Although the Grail story itself originated in the Christian tradition, and with the Arthur stories, women, such as priestesses, have learned to hold these sacred energies. They have gotten to a point where they could hold the energy, in complete trust, without trying to control the placement of the energies they are given.

I remember the first time, I became aware of my guides filling my chalice with energies in preparation for a working. Chris and I were due to go to Farley Mount, Winchester, the following day. It was January 2009. We were sitting in our caravan when  one of my Elder guides came in.

He planted a white flame, with blue, pink and yellow flames, as though it were one four-fold flame, in my lower tan Tien. I somehow knew it was for energy work we were about to do at Beacon Hill, a few miles away. Four lines went out from the flame and created an X. At the end of each line of this X was a white lotus, with the three colours, blue, pink and yellow on the petals. They felt like four places where the flowers would be ‘set’.

The energy moved in through the top of my head, and through my body, until it sat behind my navel. It was a very strange experience, as though I was an open pot. At that point I was not aware of how the energies worked or of the significance of the Chalice, but, the following day, I planted the energies and then I understood. When it happened next time, I was more prepared.

It seems to be a common occurrence, that before I am due to do any work, whether it be to pass an attunement or to work in the field, the energies are placed in my chalice. If I am given energies to hold and I am not passing an attunement then I know that within a short time I will have to do some work somewhere. The more you progress, the larger your energy-field becomes, and the more energies you can hold. Doing any other form of healing, or energyfield training, helps to expand the amount of energy you can channel and hold.

I wrote the above many years ago and have become used to these energies coming in. They still come in days before a significent working, but I have grown familiar with the feelings in my belly, so that they no longer feel so unusual. Unless, of course, it is going to be a big working needing a lot of energy.

In 2009 I also recorded a dream: I was in Duiske Abbey in Graiguenamanagh (where I grew up) but it was called the Old Minster (in Winchester). The church was not there initially, then it was. I raised my arms and brought down a large gold chalice and anchored it in the foundations. I kept forgetting my sandals and uncle Philip was standing there as one of the guardians.(In life, he was very connected to the abbey in Graiguenamanagh). He had this whole set-up of a beautiful clear-blue water beach. The water was pristine and sparkling and I wanted to go into it.

This dream was about the anchoring of the Divine Feminine energies in Winchester Cathedral, which we have been doing for nearly twenty years now, and clearing the water lines beneath Winchester itself. The spring is also beneath the high altar in the cathedral. Of course, many other people come to Winchester to do their energywork, adding to the layers of change and growth.

So not only are we the vessels, we also anchor the grail energies, the Divine Feminine, where it is needed. But always under guidance. Often we only know what to do once we get there.

Sometimes, during an attunement, another chalice will appear. This is often filled with blood, and you are asked to drink from it, or to offer it to someone else to drink. The blood in the chalice often represents an emotional sacrifice which will be painful. When you offered this chalice, you are being asked to go into a situation which will be emotionally challenging. A challenge to help someone else which will mean personal difficulty. This chalice is usually to do with a conscious self-sacrifice for the good of the whole. Drinking the cup means you have accepted the role you will play and the situation may mean having to sacrifice what you feel comfortable with, in exchange for a situation which is not. This is only offered because you are strong enough to do the work, and becasue there is persoanl healing involved too.

You do not have to accept this, but I usually do, even though I KNOW it is going to be difficult. I have learned, from experiecne, that it is a soul sacrifice and that both myself and the other person person involved will be in a MUCH better postion when all is done. The end result is often the best reward. Again, this idea of sacrifice of anaethma to our modern way of thinking, especially in the modern world of self-care, etc. But in the world of the Soul, certain agreed sacrifices offer you much growth. You might have to sacrifice money, freedom, joy, or whatever, for a time, but there is always much to be gained by acepting it. You go into a situation knowing what it will entail. You are not going in blindly. It is a choice.

If we are always thinking of ourselves and our own welbeing, and not considering the people around us, we become narrow, selfish, greedy and lacking in compassion. Sometimes, for the greater good, and for the healing of someone else, we need to put some of our needs on the back burner. But it is with concious awareness that we do it with intention and we always have the choice.
