Since my Solstice visit to Stonehenge, two years ago, when I received an energy upgrade, my way of doing readings changed. I now use a crystal grid with geometric patterns and essences. I did not know that I was going to be doing readings this way until I did one for a client and my guides told me to create a simple layout using crystals and candles. It had been a long time, nearly twenty years, since I had used crystals, and I had barely any. But I found some, randomly scattered throughout the house and did the first crystal reading.
The resulting reading was different and deeper than any I had done before. And I discovered that recording it as I went was also more powerful for the listener, allowing them to connect with the energies directly rather than simply through the written word. Which is how I had done them before.
Before using crystals, I would visit the Akashic records, which I saw as a vast library. I began that process whilst living in Luxor, not realising it was simply a stepping stone.
Below are some examples of how the crystal layouts look. Each one is created through intuition and often feels like a mixture of art and shamanic maps of information. I am directed to place certain crystals, which I feel as colour and frequency, in a pattern. Every layout is different, but I can sense layers of information within the layout. Feathers, shells, items from nature; all become part of a reading, and each pattern triggers a subconscious recognition in the viewer. No two crystal layouts are the same.
The candle in the centre represents the person having the reading. If it is a relationship reading, there will be two candles. Based on where the candles are situated, I can immediately gain some insight into the nature of the relationship.
I also use Aura Soma pomanders and quintessences. These are essences made with crystal, colour and essential oils, and they add another dimension to the information. I choose these essences with a dowsing pendulum, and often the colours match the crystal layout perfectly. Sometimes, however, they add a colour not already present.
Sometimes, if I am doing an attunement, I am guided to use one of my own essences. It all depends on what energies are needed.
An important thing to remember is that the readings come from a Soul perspective. It will be an overview of development challenges, opportunities for growth, soul purpose, etc. What they will not do is tell you what to do. They won’t tell you that your relationship will last, or not, because you are the one learning the lessons. You have been given free-will for a reason. It is part of your challenge here on earth to use your free will to make choices, so the readings will show you what opportunities there are for growth, what you may have chosen to learn, and what might help you in that learning. They act as a reminder of why you came and what you hoped to learn/overcome/develop.
Your guides rarely focus on the problem but will tactfully steer you in the best direction. Sometimes they do not even mention the problem, offering solutions instead, so you are always focused on the best possible solution – and outcome. They are always positive and give you insight when you no longer can see for yourself. They won’t tell you that a relationship won’t work, for instance, but will show you what is possible and what is the best way forward.
It is such a wonderful reminder of how best to create the reality you want, rather than creating the one you don’t want, but which you continue to focus on.
This is what my guides say about crystals:
Crystals are encoded with the energy of creation and are therefore used in many ways in healing. They are transmitters, modifiers, harmonisers, and balancers. They regulate the crystalline energy of Human consciousness especially when the recipient is aligned with the earth’s purpose and Being. They allow a certain vibration or information frequency to be transmitted through the airwaves to the recipient, and because they are formed as the earth has formed, over millions of years, they hold the energetic memory of earth creation and therefore are perfect transmitters of frequency. You are all made of the earth, and so the crystals help you to anchor your higher awareness into the physical body, keeping you fully anchored in space and time, just as the stone circles do now.
During the readings, I may also channel specific guidance from your guides and add healing energies to the grid to help you gain clarity or overcome difficulties. These energies are from both the earth and the cosmos, depending on what you need, but I explain any energies in an additional write-up so you can consciously connect to what you receive. Sometimes, too, I am guided to use sound, via tuning forks, to activate and move certain energies that need a more resonant sound vibration to break up energy which might be preventing forward movement.
These readings are a wonderful way to connect to the wisdom of your Soul and Guides, and I absolutely love doing them. I look forward to meeting and connecting with your Soul essence.

Thank you – it is also interesting to come across some readers using sand for readings. Something to be aware of is I recently came across a spiritual individual who decided to create pillows containing a recipe of ground or powdered stones and crystals. Although the pillows worked well for both clearing and tuning she had not considered elements such as asbestos, silica, mercury, lead, arsenic that become present when you grind or powder up stones.
When setting up crystal grids do so intuitively but also with awareness around different physical elements, reaction to water or potential toxins contained in them. If making powder use safety gear and inform customers who buy related products. Pillows for example should notify potential toxins if opened.
Another item for grids can also be clear quartz bowls that contain items from nature…such as acorns, sweet grass or tobacco. So along with a scent or aroma you can use plant or natural vibration / frequency.
Also acknowledge at times information will be shielded / remain unknown for the benefit of the client. However, the client may acknowledge a reveal or understanding beyond sharing after the consultation. It is not a fear based process but more toned to sacred coding. As consciousness rises, foundational acceptance is redefined. What was once limited, unusual or exciting with become more simply the normal.

Hi Grid, thank you for your input. Thankfully, I have worked with crystals for over thirty years, but had stopped relying on them. That was part of my Soul development. I needed to learn how to do all this without the use of physical tools. Now, I can use crystals as a holding energy, in much the same way that standing stones and stone circles hold energy for the earth. All is intention. Readings are done via distance, so no fear of toxins. 🙂 Because the information only comes from the person’s Soul essence and guides, they receive what they need to help them move forward and to give insight. The grids are completely intuitive and I often use other things such as shells, etc. It all depends on the needed energies of the grid. I don’t sell crystal products so hopefully won’t run into difficulties there either. Other than that, I hope you are keeping well.

Yes I am well and hope you are the same. Toxins mentioned more from an aspect of readers who are getting creative in ‘holding energies’ through creating powders from the grids. Hopefully that makes sense. 🙃☺️Certainly not common, personally I prefer stones and crystals remain where Gaia placed them.
In saying that though I have stones / crystals that use the elemental aspect to strengthen connections to divine energy. I have a few specific stones that have an elemental energy connected to them. This occurrence I didn’t quite connect ‘as a thing’ until being guided to a bookshelf in an opportunity shop. I was driving in the opposite direction but got a strong feeling to turn around and head to a specific store. On the bookshelf a book stood out, almost flashing as the reason for my detour, called Vision Tomorrow by Edmund Harold. Written in 1981 it was certainly full of synchronicity and validation a good 40yrs after being published.
Harold wrote several books on crystals, using crystals to store dreams, store energy, study notes and clarified connecting to the elemental energy they contain. It was not a case of using stones to strengthen connection to guides but more the stone is the guide.
I don’t use grids as such, but understand the holding of pathways and information. I also don’t do readings. I can receive messages for others but it is not the reading aspect. It is more detail yet to be encountered. Hard to explain. And will also be odd for others to comprehend in some respects. Not crystal ball – more the stone is a conduit to fine tune the reception. Not necessary but assists.

I have to say, I agree. Crystals are in the ground for a reason. But I think the crystal elementals are volunteering to share their energy with us. As humans, we need to understand all consciousness in the earth, and in the other dimensions, including the vital role that crystalline energy plays in the energyfield of the earth.
We are always evolving, but it sounds like things at your end are moving in a good direction. Zoom has certainly opened up the possibility of receiving healing from anywhere in the world. Only this morning I had a wonderful zoom healing session. One of the most powerful healings I have ever experienced. I find that online work is just as powerful as in person, if the interntion is for the higher good of all. 🙂
