St. Cross Hospital.

St Cross Hospital in Winchester was founded by Bishop Henry du Blois and is one of our other favourite places to do energy work. Lately, we have been called there more frequently. A number of people have worked with this site over the years, but for those of us who do the Gaia Method, we are anchoring energetic templates for future generations, and clearing out older ones that are no longer needed. Ones that were set out to suit an earlier energetic need for change.

This series of activations is connected to the ones at Winchester Cathedral. Again, over the years we were called to do adjustments, anchorings of specific energy, as though we were preparing for a more focused energywork. And this Spring it has certainly been focused. There are timings here too. The activations happen when they are supposed to, although we don’t know their purpose, or how the timing is important. But each of us is drawn to the sites to do the necessary work.

This Spring has been particularly busy. From the Winter Solstice to around May the first, is my busiest time of the year. But this year has been very different, and activations have been happening every week. It feels like there is some important reason for this. Things hotting up; things opening; the time is NOW, sort of feeling. There is a sense of urgency, of getting in there because the energies are opening in a way they have not up until now. The next few years will show us why, I have no doubt.

This Spring, we were drawn to St Cross again because their cafe in the Men’s Hall is now open every day. Homemade cakes, yes please! And gluten-free. While we were in the cafe, I was told that we needed to do some work with the energy at the central green where we had anchored a pillar before, during one of their wonderful summer fetes. This time, we had to bring in another energy.

At the central green, I saw the flame we needed to anchor. It was the yellow flame. We were impulsed to walk around the green once, anti-clockwise, and as we did the flame grew, as if the walking was turning it up. This seems to be theme as Nadia and I did the same with the green on the south-side of Winchester cathedral.

Reaching our starting point again, there was nothing else to do, so next we were drawn to the garden with its beautiful tree and large pond – which is what we had to activate. So around we went, anti-clockwise, after a brief conversation with the many carp swimming around and hoping for a feed.

Walking around the pond, I was aware of it being a counterbalance to the flame in the green, joining them together like two spheres. Fire and water in balance. The flame is on one template, one layer, and the water is on another. Each has their own energetic purpose within creation.

Once again, having reached our starting point, we were instructed to throw something metallic into the water. The only metal we had was a coin each, so standing at the pond’s edge, together we threw the coins in, not feeling entirely comfortable. Next, I saw a string of pearls being draped from the left side of the pond to the right, the central pearls dipping into the water.

And that was all we needed to do, that day.

The following week, we sat in Kneaded having our breakfast and I was aware that we needed to go back to St. Cross but this time we needed to make an essence. As we sat there, feeling that what we needed to do in St, Cross was the same as what we had done at Winchester cathedral, I became aware of a disc being anchored around my body, horizontally, like a CD. Two more then anchored, one above this, at my heart, and one below, at my hips. I saw that Chris was being anchored with his three discs, which felt like templates of information. The discs were transparent and had silver and gold light language etched on them. This was the information needed.

The lower disc on my body was about water, the top one was about the trees, and the middle one was about flames, dragons and energy lines. Three tiers of energy information.

When we got to St. Cross, before we entered, we were drawn to the gate leading into the water meadows. St. Catherine’s Hill stood prominently in the distance, looking down over us. This was where we had to make our essence. Just prior to this, walking towards the gate, I felt a solar ray activate around me. At the gate, facing the hill, I held the bottle between us, aware that the three discs of information we each held were joined, like a Vesica Piscis. The bottle was in the space between, so that it received all six templates of information. It is an essence of how to work with sacred Christian sites.

The essence was also taking in the beautiful solar light and as we stood there, the sky was filled with an immensely beautiful female energy-being in the atmosphere, shining down like the sun. A solar elemental. She held the solar energy rays in her field and it was the energy of ‘presence’ and deep peace, and connection. The message was to stop, and tune into the Now. That feminine energy flowed down into my lower chakra, to centre and ground me, yet it felt beautiful and peaceful. It brought me back to an appreciation of the present, being present to all that was around me. All the sounds, the calm, the sun, the water, the birds. It all went into the essence. I could have stayed there all day, but we had other work to do. A Mary energy then appeared and she put a tuning fork into the water of the essence. This made sense later.

Chris had a visit from a man in black who gave him a bunch of keys. But as often happens, when you are given keys, you don’t necessarily know what they are for. They give you the ability to open energies in other places, places the Beings that give the keys know you will visit, even if you don’t!

In the hospital grounds, this time we had to work within the chapel. There are three little chapels within this building, and in each one there is a flame, or two. Each person anchors the energy they are told to anchor. In the first chapel, there was a flame of blue, which I had seen last week. I stood in the flame and it was a flame of Michael. I was expecting it to be feminine! Even though we had put there a few years previously but at the time did not know what it was.

We moved into the central chapel with its yellow-gold flame, larger than the blue. I already knew there was a Magenta flame in the lady chapel to the left as we had put it there years before. (Eartha also anchored a pink and gold flame during her work there. Another layer of energy). I stood within the yellow flame, holding the bottle open, and a string of diamonds descended into the center of it., down through the flame. I could see no end to this string. Then the bells of the church tolled eleven times, sending its energy into the bottle. This was the tuning fork sounds we had seen Mary putting in. We stayed, focusing on the sounds as if they were coming from tuning forks, letting their resonance be anchored in the bottle and in our bodies, until they faded away.

Heading next to the Lady chapel, I heard The gospel of st Mary. The saint being the significant word. To people in the Church of England, Mary is known as a saint, but in the Catholic church she is known as the Mother of God. So to whom were they referring? Perhaps, as Chris suggested, it is Mary Magdalene? She is known for having written a gospel.

In the third chapel, it didn’t feel like I had to add energy here, but then another energy came. It was about silence.  The energy here was one of pure peace. A sense of retreat and quiet. This is the energy that was placed in the essence. Stillness, retreat from the cares of the world. A connection to the Divine-self. Again, I could have stayed all day in this lovely, monastic, retreat energy.

We burned some candles, as we always do. Me, for all the parents around the world, Chris, for all those people who could not burn one of their own. I felt myself raising the essence bottle, as if I was blessing the wine at mass, holding it up to the divine energy.

And that was that. Another lovely morning and another useful essence.

Winchester Cathedral Activation.

After my session at the chiropractors, I went to Kneaded cafe, as usual, to meet Nadia and have a hot chocolate. When I got to the first floor, where the flame is anchored, I had full body chills and I felt my energy rising which was not my normal reaction to energy. I sat down – tuning into the flame I had anchored there previously – to see what was going on. The flame was still there, having stabilised between yellow and magenta, but nothing significant was happening that could have made me react so strongly to the energy. Then I heard clairaudiently, ‘We require your assistance.’ Aha! I sent my consciousness to the origin of the WE who were communicating, and asked where they needed it. My attention was drawn to the cloisters of the Cathedral.

When Nadia and I were ready, we pottered over to the cloisters on the south side of the cathedral. I could feel the energy, and thought initially it was in the centre of the green, where they have the Christmas market, but we went to the little garden of the dean to make sure. The energy seemed to be everywhere and it was difficult to define its centre. It was also very cold and Nadia was really feeling it.

There was nothing in the garden, but I became aware of the energy of a man behind me. He was dressed in what seemed to be an old fashioned black cape, like the ones worn during the Tudor period. Yet, he came across as both a religious person and also somehow, political, as though he was person of some importance. He made me feel the direction leading back to the grassy area so we followed his instructions.

We stood with our backs to the cloister pillars, just at the edge of the newly seeded open area, and I saw a column of energy descend into the centre. We were told to walk clockwise around the area and to open up a yellow line around it which happened as we walked, like a trail of yellow. The line was about a foot wide and glowing a golden-yellow light. When we reached the other side of the green, at the midway point, we began to experience the familiar energies of opening. These feel like tingles on different parts of the head and a feeling not unlike mild anxiety or excitement. We both experienced the same sensations. Having completed the circuit, I was told to do two more circuits and this time to walk the pink and the blue lines. The pink one was the first line, and, again, at the opposite side of the green, we began to feel the same energies we had felt on the first round. But at the side where the south door was, at the three o’ Clock position – if you think of it like a clock-face – it suddenly felt like we had descended five steps into another layer.

The weird thing was it literally felt as though we had walked five steps which led downwards. We could see them clearly, made of stone, and old, like going down into a cellar. On this older level we once again reached our start point and began the blue line walk. It appeared that the yellow band of energy was separate to the blue and pink, so that as we were walking around we kept the pink and blue line in our minds, understanding that they worked together on the same level, but deeper than the yellow.

Once we had completed the three rounds and had returned to the starting position, I saw a large gold chalice appear in the column of light, the same way the chalice appeared in the Memory tree a few weeks ago. Yet, I was aware that this area was more masculine, and this anchoring was to balance the feminine flames in the cathedral, holding it all in balance. Outdoors, this energy was masculine, and indoors, it was feminine.

That seemed to complete this work so we pottered around the Deanery to see if the bookshop was open. It wasn’t, but I began to feel a pull towards another patch of grass close to the Pilgrim’s School. We walked to the centre of that, and I put an etheric gold pin into the ground between my feet. These pins look like very big thumbtacks and they appear in the mind’s eyes when something needs to be anchored. We do not have control over this but it is the energy’s way of telling us that something needs to be anchored. I saw a line being held by this pin but had no idea where it was going to or coming form. I had not been aware of taking a line anywhere. So we left the pin in the ground and went over to the gorgeous tree growing against a brick wall.

It was a Southern Magnolia, as it turned out, like the one at the other side of the cathedral where the gorgeous garden is and the pond with the bust of Osiris. The branches of this tree hung over the ground and its leaves were large and deep green. We ducked to get under the canopy and as soon as we passed some kind of threshold, the energy came up through our feet like an electrical charge. It was coming from the roots. I have not experienced this before. We made our way over to the tree trunks and we each leaned against one of the five large trunks that seemed to grow from the one place. I was told to connect a triangle between my heart, Nadia’s heart and then to the heart of the tree so that we were all three connected, heart-wise.

The tree began to communicate with us about its leaves which it was using as an analogy, speaking of it as though they were equivalent to our idea of money. It spoke about how it did not worry when some of its leaves fell to the ground, or died, because it knew there were plenty more. The tree itself produced the leaves so it knew it could replace the dead ones that now lay on the floor beneath the canopy. The tree held complete trust in nature and its own ability to grow new leaves. It no sense of fear, no worry about never being able to produce any more leaves. It knew that leaves would die, but more would always grow. It was such a lovely learning and I was aware of feeling that same sense of trust. Letting go of fear and trusting that we could always grow more leaves. The tree told Nadia to take one of its leaves as an energetic connection to the tree and its belief in abundance and trust.

Carabiner

Afterwards, we walked towards town but as we approached the high street, I became aware of a solar line coming from St Giles’s Hill and running up the high street all the way to the top, through the West Gate. This is the first time I have seen a solar line like this running up the high street, just beneath the ground, running from east to West. When we reached it, I attached an energetic carabiner to it, which connected another gold line from the pin close to the Magnolia tree. So that’s what that was for! I have used these energetic carabiners before, but not for quite a few years. The last time I remember using one was when we were connecting Itchen banjo to St. Catherine’s Hill and other places. It simply connects one line to another. And just like a carabiner attaches to a rope or cable, it allows the connecting line to move up and down the main line. I’m not sure why, but that’s just what appears.

Again, I thought all the work was finished, so we wandered over to the Brooks centre where I was parked. As we approached, I saw a gold flame on the level of the kid’s play area on one of the floors which is on our current level. On the basement floor, which was so much older, historically, we anchored a blue flame, immediately beneath the yellow flame two stories up.

When we are anchoring flames, we are anchoring on older sacred places. They are not randomly placed. In our time frame, or dimension, we see physical buildings, shops, parks, supermarkets, etc. but when we are doing this work we are acting on other timelines, other ‘spaces’. We learn to trust the past and its layers. This Winter/Spring has been a different energy-working altogether. Things we have done in the past came back to be done again, tools we once used, re-emerged. It’s been an intense time.

InstaVolt Activation.

Not all energywork is ancestral, or elemental. Sometimes we are called to work in places we never imagine would need energywork.

I pass this new EV charging powerhub at Three Maids Hill, in Winchester, everyday and have watched it being built over the past year. On one of my daily journeys to Barton Stacey, as I was passing the hub, which had only opened two days previously, I saw a large geodesic dome over the site. The last time I saw this was in New York over the World Trade centre site when my guides arranged for me to go and do energywork there. My guides suggested that Chris and I go and have a coffee there on our next free morning. It needed work.

This is often how they show me what to do. They show me an image of what is needed and then I go and anchor that energy. Although, in this case it turned out to be so much more.

On a free morning, we both went and got a coffee in the new Starbucks. We felt we needed to be sitting outside the coffee-shop, so we brought our drinks outside and sat at one of the round tables. Almost immediately, I was aware of the geodesic dome around the entire site, each hexagonal ‘window’ a different colour. This is the same as the colourful dome I anchored in New York and I wondered if the flute would be used again, to bring the necessary changes. Chris began to anchor a solar ray, much as he had done at Stonehenge at the solstice in 2023, seeing the solar ray come in and move into the ground, where it solarised the water beneath the site. He was aware of it being like a network of lines, a spider of energy. (We realised that, of course, this is probably what all the wiring underneath the charging stations looks like). It looked like a Catherine wheel, sending energy outwards in a circular motion.

Chris then became aware of Cernunnos, but the Horned God did not feel connected to this place, but to some other place. (As it turned out, he was waiting patiently for us to visit to finish what we were doing here). Cernunnos had his antler headdress on and he was carrying a staff which he banged on the ground three times, sending out pulses of energy.

Next, I became aware of golden lines of light coming from the earth and moving up as though they were fibres of spun yarn being plied. They flowed upwards looking like now like a tree trunk and then splitting off to create branches. A massive, powerful dragon then appeared as if it were part of this energy but it felt so huge, like a storm, and yet it was simply power. Suddenly, each branch ending suckered onto one of the hexagons and began charging the hexagon it was attached to. The solar energy Chris had anchored into the ground, from the sun, was now being sent out in a different form to connect with this dome, creating a circuit of solar light.

We were, of course, at a, EV station which was powered by solar light, solar panels lining the edge of the area. But it was as if what we were doing was charging the area with solar light, of an energetic nature, making it blend harmoniously with the physical energy. I then saw how this network of solar charging stations would be all over the country and that it was not a bad thing. (I had been on the fence about electric cars), because it was utilising a form of energy which would be better for the world, ultimately. These stations would be integrated harmoniously with nature.

After a few minutes, I saw the dome again, and this time all the hexagons had turned to gold, fed by the solar energy circuit. The entire dome was now made up of gold hexagonal cells. Solar cells. But then another energy began to move up my body from my belly. It was lunar this time and it took the form of a woman dressed in white lunar light. A small silver, lunar, tree appeared beside the solar one and it grew alongside it. (This was connected to the work we had done in Flowerdown the previous week). The tree did not do what the other tree did but it grew to a smaller height and then its silver-white leaves and branches grew between the golden branches. Yet, although it was intertwining with the gold tree, it remained itself, radiating lunar light into the branches of the golden tree. It was using its light to hold and support the functioning of the golden solar tree, softening the strong masculine energy of the solar light. The lunar tree, feminine, was connected to the water which the solar beam had moved through when Chris brought it in. It made such a beautiful image, the lunar light holding, and feeding, the branches of the solar tree.

Both of these trees, in their own ways, were holding the energy of this dome. Working together to hold the balance. It was only when we were getting ready to go that I realised that we were sitting beneath a lovely young tree. A Silver Birch. So I’m guessing, the trees will balance the solar energy here.

Once we were finished, we felt pulled to go to The Running Horse pub in Littleton, followed by Flowerdown Barrow again. This was the reverse of what we had done on our last visit there.

We had a tea in the pub and made our way to the Disc barrow, aware that we were doing, in reverse, what we had done last time. This time, it was my turn to walk around the standing stone. I walked around it, sunwise, three times, feeling dizzy at the same place as Chris had done, (on the left side of the stone). I imagine this was because I was at the right layer to be working on. As I walked, I was winding an [etheric] golden thread around the stone, so it was wound three times around it.

Next, we walked to the smaller barrow and stood in the centre. A large gold pin was embedded in the ground by my feet which anchored the gold thread.

We continued on to the main Disc Barrow, aware that I was bringing the thread with me. Standing in the centre of the barrow was the Horned God, Cernunnos, patiently waiting for us. I walked to the centre, and pinned the gold thread there too. We were very aware that the stone was not in its original position, but yet we could see and feel that connection-memory strongly, as if the stone was still connected to its original position. In connecting the stone to the barrow we were, effectively, repositioning it energetically into its current position, holding its newer connection to the barrow, as it had done for centuries in its prior position.

I also became aware of a red line, moving from the centre of the disc barrow towards the smaller barrow. (This happens the same way when I am doing a crystal reading in that I see what crystals, or other objects, need to go in the layout, and the pattern that needs to be created with them). The red line had not been anchored yet, but I was shown what needed to be.

Cernunnos was facing Chris and gave him a necklace made of antler, a small portion of his energy for Chris to work with. It felt like an attunement, for Chris, into the energy of Cernunnos. (And, as that is his energetic name, given to him when he received his first Gaia Method Attunement, it was very fitting. It indicated that he had come into his own, in terms of development and service to Mother Earth. Time to step more into his Cernunnos role).

Leaving the barrow, we walked over to the smaller Barrow where I brought the red line and pinned it to the centre. This red line was bringing the vitality of the main barrow to feed the smaller barrow, which is part of the over all grid. The gold line is solar. The sense was that it was also balancing nature and mankind.

On the barrow with us there was a woman dressed in a long flowing dress. They usually look either Elvish or mythical, because they represent a feminine energy connected to nature, the ancestors or elementals. She placed an apple in each of my hands, one silver, and one gold. The silver apple went into my right hand, where I would have expected the gold apple to be placed. The gold is a more masculine energy. The apples represent the knowledge and wisdom of the level in which she exists. In this case, the feminine knowledge of solar and lunar energy.

Next, she placed around my neck a small diamond-shaped bottle filled with diamond light. This was to be integrated when when I needed a boost of energy or information. The three energies created a triangle. This connects the gold, and silver, apples to the Diamond light of the earth’s energy field, that part of the crystalline field of Mother earth which is her higher mind.

I will soon find out what all this is about, but it feels like an understanding of both the masculine and feminine energies and how they work together to create the balance of Mother Earth. According to her designs. Not my will but thine.

Old Winchester Hill. Green Dragons, Merkabas and an Essence. 20th June 2024 Prt One.

For this year’s Summer Solstice, we were ‘told’ to go to Old Winchester Hill. This is an Iron Age Hillfort with a Neolithic past (4000 bc to just before the Roman settlement of Britain). Although it has a Neolithic history, it was not settled until the Bronze Age – which is when the Mother was venerated along with the sun as Father. We have not worked with this site for over fifteen years but we were told to go and ‘ramp it up’. I received impression that there was a merkaba above the site but when we got there we discovered there was not one, but two, side by side. Somebody has been busy over the years.

Walking along the path to the hillfort,at a certain point, we became aware of the energetic forcefield. The margins of the site’s energy. I saw it as a white circle around the site and Chris saw it as a dome. The dome is a protective energy placed above the site to contain energy. In this case the dome was just under a kilometer in diameter. In southern England, where the land is chalk, ramparts and rings would have been gleaming white. The ‘ring’ around a site denoted its protective and sacred energy and would have been visible for miles. Especially when these places were built on prominent postitions.

Approaching the Hillfort from the path, I kept hearing that our personal vibration was still not high enough to match the frequency of the merkaba at the top. So we placed our intention to match the frequency, not realising that actually what they meant, was we were not high enough in the landscape yet. It was only when we were in the hillfort, and walking towards the top, that we were told we were reaching the right vibration. So it was our physical position on the site that matched us with the merkaba. When we got to the two round barrows at the highest point of the hillfort, where the trig point was located, we were told we were now high enough.

It was when we got to the first barrow that we realised there was a merkaba over each one. I’ve never seen that before. The merkabas were both in and above the barrows and there was a doorway we had to enter first. Thedoorway was in the side of the merkaba. This was a first. Before going into the first one, we had to attune to the merkaba energy and then enter the energetic doorway. Sometimes, although we have been doing this work for over thirty years, things can still surprise us.

We stood on the centre of the barrow/Merkaba and Chris saw the guardian of the site dressed in a white robe and carrying a staff. He spoke of stars, and constellations. The barrow felt like a boat, much like the energy at the end of the Dorset cursus, so I imagine these were built by the same people for the same purpose.

This turned out to be a masculine work for this site so Chris did most of it, until the end, when I did my part. Some sites are definitely masculine and others feminine, which we only find out once we get there. Other sites are dual so we both work them.

In the centre of the barrow, the top pyramid of the merkaba was open to higher dimensions. I call it angelic, because they are of a higher vibrational light and I have no other name for them. There was also a faery-like elemental energy too, and a green dragon. This elemental energy was female and she appeared as a faery that grants wishes. She had a wand, like in the fairy-tales, with a glowing star on the tip. I knew before coming that we had to make an essence, and she told me now to place the open bottle on the ground. She tapped the bottle three times and each time starry sparkles from her wand went into the water. I was aware of a protective white dragon, like at Burlington but it was just ‘around’.

Chris saw rainbow light going into the bottle, each colour coming from a point on the merkaba, as though the merkaba/ascension energy was being activated. So, the essence was an activator of ascension, building the merkaba frequencies around the physical body, thereby making Soul-manifesting quicker. Pretty good, so far, I thought.

Chris then had to speed the merkaba up so he added the solar light he has been carrying since a trip to France years ago, filling the merkaba. Solar light is a masculine energy and its inclusion in the merkaba ”ramped it up’, as we were told to do. Next we went into the second barrow, which again had a doorway. It was as though both merkabas were joined energetically and we had to leave one merkaba through a doorway on the opposite side to the one we had entered. The second merkaba also had a door through which we entered. This barrow/merkaba felt more feminine. Possibly the person who was primarily buried here in the past was a woman.

This wabarrow was interesting because it contained very different energies. Chris often sees a gold lattice-work column when he does energywork and this time he was seeing the same thing, but this one had a red crystal sphere on the top, like a transmitter. It reminded him of the Eiffel tower, a structure I have seen in recent crystal readings. This Eiffel tower suggests an energy structure that has its feet securely on the ground while the energy is drawn up to another level. Well grounded, bottom up Ascension, as opposed to top down.

Once again, we had to activate the essence, and this time Chris placed energetic rubies in the water, followed by Sapphires energy which I put in. Rubies are feminine, and yet it was Chris’s task to place them in the bottle. Sapphires are a masculine energy, and I had to place them there. It was as if his feminine side, and my masculine side, were energising the essence with our polar opposite. Rubies are the crystal Love of the Mother, from the Ruby layer of the crystalline planet. Sapphires and Rubies are both from the same family: corundum. The only difference between them is the colour. Ruby is the heart and Sapphire the mind. The balance of masculine/feminine is now anchored in the essence. But it is the balance of the Great Mother’s emotional body, and her mental body that is contained there.

The energy of this Merkaba was very much about raising consciousness to a higher level while still having feet firmly on the ground. Considering how much energy had just been anchored in the essence it was no surprise that this was necessary.

We felt our work was complete in this barrow and knew we had to go back the way we came. So we exited through the energetic doorway and re-entered the first barrow/merkaba. But when we were there, we found there was nothing more to do. We sat on the ground and the Guardian appeared again. He told Chris to: ‘Learn the ways of the Dragon. You have to know where the dragons are in the landscape and when you find them you have to wake them up.’ The guardian then went on to tell him about a Green Dragon and a story that existed about him. This was a welsh story with a Merlin vibe. Chris was given a name which turned out to be a place in Wales associated with a holy well and a dragon. The Merlin vibe gave us a time frame of post-Roman. Something we will have to investigate later, I’m guessing. This Green Dragon mention was also signifant later.

In the next post, I will explain more about the Green dragon energy and function, and the information we received about the dragon women who worked with them, and who are calling them awake again.

For an overview of the Hillfort, check out Ben’s video in the comments below. This is especially great because we are no longer able to see the hillfort from this perspective. Thanks Ben.

The Stonehenge Cup.

I began writing this post in December 2023, before I went to Stonehenge for the Solstice. Seeing the image of the Stonehenge Cup online must have triggered something in me because a week later I had a strong impulse to go and visit Salisbury Plain. The excitement of finding the story behind this object opened a way forward. Often this is how we are led towards a place we need to work in. Something triggers an energy deep inside and we are propelled by a sense of exploration and adventure towards discovering a new piece of the puzzle.

This particular part of the puzzle is still playing out for me, and may well last the entire year, maybe longer. We’ll see. Here is the object that triggered my excitement and the post I had begun to write about it…

While doing some work online, I came across an image that made my heart flutter. It was an image that told me something about Stonehenge that I probably would not have accepted before, but because this information came from the burial of a woman in a round barrow close to Stonehenge, and within its sacred boundaries, it was impossible not to accept. Not only could I not not accept it, it opened my eyes to what I had been unable to see before, and which explained an aspect of the rituals in Stonehenge that made absolute sense to me.

The cup is not a cup, as such, but a replica of the stone circle itself … complete with a thatched roof and a large opening in the centre. Stonehenge must have looked like this at some point in its long life and light, part of its ritual use. When a light is placed inside the model, it shines out through the gaps … when lit in the dark. Effectively, it is like the solar light shining out through the stones. It made me wonder whether there was any evidence of fires having been burned in the centre of the circle or purely energetic.

During sacred solar ceremonies, the sun’s light is energetically ‘brought down’ into the centre to fertilise the waiting womb beneath the earth. I know this is part of Stonehenge’s function because it is one of the things I recognised early on in my work when I did Reiki attunements in the circle. My later experiences at Broomrigg stone circle in Cumbria also taught me what the sacred ceremonies in the circles were really about and inspired me as to why and how Stone circles may have been created.

The opening at the roof of this thatched building is like the cervix, the entrance to the womb, opening to the fertilising energies of the sun during the Winter Solstice and on into February. Stonehenge, like many sites, is a Sheelagh na Gig site, a Winter/Crone site that opens to the masculine solar light when it becomes the maiden of Spring. Priests and priestesses, channels for this light, would bring the sun’s energy through their bodies and energy fields, allowing solar energy to pass into the waiting, receptive earth beneath their feet.

The light of larger sites, such as the Stonehenge Complex, travelled along energy lines connected to the henge. Other places, such as menhirs, smaller circles and especially rivers, then sent that energy further into the landscape benefitting all who lived upon it. Light is life. Our ancestors understood the earth to be the body of the Mother. She fed them; nurtured them; gave them shelter, and in death, they returned to her.

I can just imagine what it might have been like to participate in one of their rituals. Standing under the cover of the thatched roof, waiting expectantly for the sun to shine its rays of light, both physical and energetic, into the womb of the waiting mother. Everyone is watching. They can feel the energies radiate, touching them all, making their skin tingle, their bodies fill with light. A sense of elation as energy leads to lightheadedness. Awe as the sun’s rays move into the landscape – their landscape – fills them with joyful, and trusting, anticipation of the abundance that will follow. The unshakable knowledge that they are loved and supported by both Mother Earth and Father Sun, gives them assurance that all will be well. It is a joyful, uplifting and connecting celebration as all the tribes gather to participate in the yearly ritual of abundance and sharing.

We get some sense of this wonder and attunement at modern gatherings at the Solstice. But in the past, they knew what they were doing. They knew this ritual of bringing down the light would benefit everyone. What we see now is a good start, however. People are feeling the old energies again. Wanting to join together in the ancient ritual of tribal celebration. There is a powerful sense of connection in these gatherings as people from everywhere come on this night to be together, each understanding why the other is there. There is something magical about the atmosphere. We are All One, together, honouring and loving the ancient place, taking in the special energies of the time.

The discovery of the miniature ceramic Stonehenge Cup made me wonder who the buried woman was. Burial mounds contain the bodies, or ashes, of significant people who both ruled, and carried out sacred service. Their energies remain at these sites and can be accessed with intention and a willingness to serve the whole. She may have been a priestess, a ‘Mother’ connected to the sacred landscape. In life, she may have had a replica Stonehenge to burn incense in, possibly to maintain her intention for the henge and to hold the sacred site within her energy-field. It is much the same as having an altar space in your home, lighting candles and incense and connecting to the energy of a place, or people. It might have been a loved object , connecting her to the place she loved, the place of the Mother. And, of course, it may not be the only one, simply the only one they have found, so far.

On the other hand, the incense cup could have been buried with her to allow her to take the light of Stonehenge into the earth, back to the Mother, a little part of the light she might have worked with most of her life. It reminds me of my aunt’s funeral in southern Ireland. She was a very devoted Catholic. After the traditional wake, which was wonderful to attend because her spirit was joyful that she was ‘still alive’, we went to the funeral mass. Afterwards, her coffin was brought to the cemetery in Kilmacow, beside St Senan’s Church, where it was put in the ground, on top of my great-grandmother Johanna’s coffin; her favourite grandmother. (My mother was one of the models used for an angel mural in the Church of St Senan, when she was a child. She is the third angel from the right, lower three, playing a trumpet).

When my aunt’s coffin was in the ground, I saw a vertical shaft of pink light enter her heart area, through the wood of the coffin. It remained anchored there, a pillar of pink energy, as though her physical body was its anchor. The pink was the ray of Love and would be henceforth accessible to all who visited the graveyard. A lovely gift to leave after physical life. I have seen the same thing with ancient burial sites too.

Our ancestors held different beliefs, but energy is energy, and they knew it far better than we do. We are only learning what they knew, thanks to their physical remains and ability to communicate with us, thousands of years later. Their bodies, within the burial mounds, can still share energy and information, if we remain open. I have learned to understand the ancient rituals through connecting with the spirit of these people who are happy to share their history and knowledge. They want us to know how to venerate the earth and its many dimensions. They want us to remember. And we can, by going to their places, tuning in, and trusting what they give us.

All we have to do is ask.

Winter Solstice at Stonehenge. 2023

Although we are now in Brigit’s time, I am completing the Winter Solstice Journey we did back in December 2023. Sometimes it takes time to integrate energies and to be ready for the new. This seems to be one of those times. It also seems to fit the energy of the Solstice, when after that day, when the seeds in the earth are energised by the solar light, they then need time to germinate in the darkness before poking through into the light…

How do they do that?

The Solstice journey began before we even got to Stonehenge. Having decided to drive via Stockbridge, instead of the A303, we were being energetically prepared while we travelled there from Winchester. Past Woolbury Hillfort, just outside Stockbridge, I was aware that we were driving through ancestral/Tribal land, the energy being awake and accessible which it isn’t always.

On the other side of Stockbridge, we turned off the main road to go past Danebury, but this time, the gold disc we had noticed last time we were here, just before the Solstice, was now larger, reaching almost to where we had turned into the road. Because Danebury is an active fertility site, a place like Stonehenge, where the sun is brought into the womb of the earth to fertilise the land and all upon it, its golden solar energy radiates out all around it. The disc indicates the extent of the radiance around the Hillfort, the land that is influenced by the solar energy. Today it was wider than it had been last time when we brought down the gold ray in the centre of the Hillfort and met the local elemental guardian of the place.

As we passed through this gold energetic disc I felt my consciousness raised to a higher level of awareness. I was reminded of a meditation a couple of weeks ago, when my Turkish guide came in and gave me a large gold key, then showed me how he would lift me to a higher level, like jumping onto a platform. At the time I did not know where it referred to but it soon became clear, literally. A Bronze Age king appeared in my vision and told me he was waiting for us at the King’s Barrows and then my chakras opened and activated. I received the understanding that I had to plug myself into the Stonehenge energies by connecting with each barrow in turn until seven chakras were plugged into the seven barrows. It has been many years since we first activated these barrows, nearly twenty years, in fact, but we knew them to be an integral part of the Salisbury plain circuitry. Perhaps more than I previously thought…

We parked in Larkhill because English Heritage had blocked all the usual parking places closer to Woodhenge in preparation for the people due to visit for the following day’s sunrise. After a long, interesting walk, where we met a couple of deer and some lovely sheep, we reached the end of the cursus. The energy was stronger than I have ever felt there and I could feel the back of my heart heating up making me feel nauseous. There was originally a Longbarrow at this at the cursus which has been ploughed out, but the energy obviously still remains.

It has been a long time since a site has made me feel physically sick, although, as soon as we moved off the site of the Longbarrow the nausea left.

We made our way to the King’s Barrows, but there are two groups of King’s Barrows, the Old, and the New. Which ones were we supposed to go to? The only way to know was to trust our intuition and check each one energetically. It was rainy and blustery on the Plain and areas were cordoned off, but we got to one which was not. Four large beech trees grew on it and as I walked towards it, the wind suddenly blew up strongly. Too strongly. I could see a branch had already broken off and now lay on the middle of the burial mound. I wondered if I should risk it, and continued towards it. The wind blew up even stronger so I decided not to. As I made my decision and walked away, the wind died down. Perhaps the trees were warning me…

The next barrow we came to was ‘a’wake’, so the first thing I did was walk around it once, anti-clockwise, to open its energies. But as I finished I was instructed to continue walking in a spiral until I reached the top of the mound. I have never had to do that before. I stood on the top waiting for the next part but that became Chris’s job. He walked onto the mound and stood facing the stone circle. He was then ‘told’ to raise his arms. He saw himself holding the golden orb of the sun in his hands, like a beach ball, which he slowly brought down. When he had finished he said, with some amazement, that he had anchored it in the stone circle. The force had been so powerful, he said, that he was pulled physically towards the circle and thought, at one point, that he was going to lose his balance.

We got to the New King’s barrows and, beginning with the first in the row, climbed to the top and tuned in. Immediately, I felt the red energy of my base chakra extend to connect deeply with the barrow. I waited until the right time to proceed to the next mound.

I did the same for each of the burial mounds, connecting each corresponding chakra, from base to crown. But at the heart level barrow, something different happened. Often, before we visit a site to do energy-work, we are instructed to bring a bottle of water. When this occurs, we know an essence will be made. Standing on the Heart Barrow, I opened the bottle, held it in my hands and waited. I immediately saw the energies of all the burial mounds and the people buried/cremated within them pouring into the bottle. This was all the knowledge of our ancestors from across time and space.

A white-robed priest appeared in front of me and placed a wand in the bottle. He used it to stir its energy into the essence. This magical object was made of wood and had crystals along it, like chakras, and he gave me the information that the essence would also energise the chakra system, aligning it with the energies of Stonehenge and the people who built it. The experience of using the essence is like having a line of light plugged into the back of each chakra, connecting you to each of the barrows.

As it turned out, it does a lot more.

We continued to the other barrows, connecting and aligning until we had completed them all. The last one, the crown, was a little tricky because it was part of the garden belonging to some local authority but we discovered we could access it from the road. When we did, it felt like it was like a cap on a bottle, completing the seven-barrow circuit.

The essence, as well as connecting the seven chakras to the seven barrows also has the effect of pulling in the energy-field, so that personal energy is contained and focused. This was a surprising effect, but I imagine that if we are scattered in our energy, then we are unable to manifest well, or focus on what is important. Somehow, the essence creates an energetic boundary in our field. I have been using it every day since the solstice and I am managing to write the second draft of the book every day, without fail, as if I now have a boundary I never really had before. The Stonehenge plug-ins are specifically connected to the back of the chakras and to the crown and base chakras. When fully plugged in, it feels like I am lying down on the barrows, like they are a bed of energy beneath me.

I used the essence the following day, the 22nd December and this is what I recorded:

Standing at my landing window with the sun coming up, I am Stonehenge. I feel myself as the stones and the sun is filling me up. I draw the solar light into my body of stones, the womb of the earth, and absorb the golden radiance. When I feel full, I allow it to simply be. The stones hold the light there, even when the sun has gone down, and rises and falls every day. It holds the energy of the people, like a light in the henge, suspended and available.

Next, I saw Cerrunos in the circle, dancing around the centre. Then I see the Was sceptre in the circle, and it anchors the sun to the water layer beneath the stones as though the sun is fertilising the waters around the circle too. The horned man is very much the stag energy of winter and fertility, dancing the male fertility into being.

A male priest then appears in the circle, wearing a holly/yew headdress. He is the energy of vegetation, ensuring that the tribes are fed with nature’s abundance too. Both he and the stag king are bringing in their intent for the following year, ensuring these two energies of abundance are manifested for the year. This is the time to manifest the years coming needs.

Lastly, I see a frilled dragon, multicoloured, but it is held within the circle, and only ‘allowed out’ at certain times of the year, Such as like Mayday, etc. This reminds me of the Quetzal serpent at Chitzen Itza which also descends to the land during the Winter solstice. Then I am told that the ceremonies happened over three days, but the festival feasting lasted a week, so that people could bond and connect with each other, tying the tribes together as one People. Sounds like a powerful and very enjoyable festival and the modern gatherings at stonehenge certainly reflect the desire to reconnect with the old ways.

The algiz rune appeared, connecting Iceland, Norway, and Orkney to the south of England. At the top of the line, which we have already anchored, there is a white flame and the Orkney dragon, orange and yellow, comes spiralling down the line to the south, but it’s tail is still in Orkney.  This, I imagine, represents both the present, and the past, as People from Orkney built stonehenge and we are now rebuilding those connections energetically. But importantly, the dragon, connects both South and North, the North being the origin of that particular vibration of dragon energy.

Two months later, I am still holding my energy open and using the essence every day, and every day I am plugged into the Stonehenge people and their earth wisdom, earth wisdom which is far older than Stonehenge itself. I continue to hold myself open to its energy and on MayDay will return to see what happens then, as instructed.

Anchoring the Blue and White Flame in Winchester Cathedral.

Recently, a friend and I went to Winchester Cathedral, called as we were, to go. When we went inside, we went to the little votive candle-stand to one side of the main aisle. I had a strong feeling we needed to light a candle but when we were lighting our flames it felt like the physical version of an energetic flame we needed to light – in front of the great altar.

Before the Great Altar.

Beneath the great altar, there is an ancient well, but I was asked to plant a large blue flame, the heart of the mother, some distance away on the lower level. My friend and I sat on the pews on opposite sides, facing each other with the space between us. This flame was connected to the situation in Israel/Palestine and was an energy to help support the people there. It would bring succour to all the people suffering and thoughts of peace to the people in authority. (Personally, I had my doubts that the latter could be so influenced, but who was I to judge the efficacy of these spiritual intentions?). Nevertheless, I spent some time focusing this blue flame light on the conflict, and remembered that one of the four biggest chakra points on earth was in Jerusalem. This energy-point is a hotbed of ideas and beliefs and a place where new beliefs are birthed. This is why there has always been conflict in this area.

Over twenty years ago, my guides gave me a vision that they told me to record. This vision showed war in Israel and the golden dome of the Al-Aqsah mosque crumbling as a bright new blue-white minaret of divine feminine awareness arose from the centre, like a plant shoot grrrrrrrowing into the sky. This site, now sacred to Islam, was once also sacred to the Christians, and the Jews. They identified the Dome of the Rock with the Temple of Solomon, which I believe was an energetic temple, not a physical one.

When I see what is happening there now, my heart breaks for the people and the incredible pain they are experiencing. But I also recognise the spiritual opportunity for others around the world to develop compassion, to open their hearts and to feel the desire to help all who are suffering. The opportunity is to move beyond the personal, and to see the universal, to recognise that we are all ONE. It is only our beliefs and fears which separate us. The challenge is to open ourselves to healing the collective pain and to see with the eyes of Divinity. To recognise how our beliefs decide whose side we take, and why. To heal the rifts inside ourselves so we can see everyone as a seed of the Divine. To use our skills as healers to send light to ALL involved, especially to those who perpetrate these hatreds and who keep such a sense of victimhood in their thoughts and hearts to the point where they no longer see the humanity in front of them and instead see only animals. Those are the ones who need the light most, the ones in charge- because they have less light. As my guides once told me ‘When there is hate in your heart, there is no room for love.’ So healing the hate, and the causes of it, makes room. (It is important to remember, when anchoring these flames, that we do not think as the personality does, but as the Soul, who sees from a higher perspective).

So, with the Flame of the Heart of the Mother anchored in our wonderful Cathedral, a place with a wide river of blue light running beneath it that connects to many other sacred places, we had done what was needed. This flame would influence the waters beneath the cathedral, the waters of the Itchen, and would travel wherever the river travelled towards the sea where a huge white flame had been anchored years ago in Southampton waters.

Once we had anchored this Divine Feminine healing light, we were instructed to stand before the altar. From the ancient spring below there floated up a feminine energy, the guardian of the well. She hovered above the floor in front of the altar, facing us. Wearing a pale green hooded cloak, the colour of a green pool in the forest, she held in her hands a gold-lidded container from which she took a sweet. I was handed a lemon sherbet, and my friend, a chocolate-covered Turkish delight; the pink within representing love. I wasn’t sure what the lemon sweet I was given represented but as it was bitter-sweet, I assumed whatever it was would not be particularly easy-going. But she also pressed a single gold coin into my palm, taking some of the bitterness away. Before we went behind the altar, to continue, she suggested that the blue flame would transform into the yellow Flame of Brigit in Spring.

Behind the great altar, we took our intuited positions, not knowing what we would do there. But as we did, we became aware of the masculine energy which formed the foundations of this cathedral and the religious beliefs that went with it. Everything was about male domination, male supremacy, male control. The structure of the building itself was infused with this energy, especially where we stood. At one point this was where the tomb of St Swithin and the bones of the Kings of England were once kept, moved there by our old friend Henry du Blois from their previous position in the Old Minster.

We stood at the site of St. Swithin’s tomb and tuned in, becoming aware that we were still physically surrounded on all sides by male effigies; the tombs of wealthy bishops, saints, etc. It was as if they were the solid foundations of the building itself, holding the very male ideas around God, power and control in place. I received the thought that the white flame needed to be anchored here, right in the centre of these male figureheads. But it had to be done from the lady chapel behind where we stood, where the feminine energy was anchored.

We stood in the doorway of the lady chapel on slabs of fossil-filled limestone. I was very aware that we were standing on a very ancient sea energy. This was significant too, for where this fossil-rich limestone had first been laid down was once the floor of a warm shallow sea and these waters are often experienced as the domain of the Divine Feminine Womb of Creation.

From our position in the doorway, itself an initiatic gateway, we saw a huge white flame anchor in the space between the tombs that surrounded it. It grew steadily larger and brighter. I was aware that there were two levels to this energy: one, the older level, which was once the ground level, and the other the higher level on which we now stood. Because the white flame is a higher frequency than the other flames they are often anchored on a higher level. Years ago, my friend Eartha and I were in Corfe Castle in Dorset. There, on a higher floor where, once, the chapel was situated, we anchored a smaller white flame. I knew then that it was significantly higher and was not to be anchored on the level we were on: the lower level. We anchored the flame standing on the remaining few steps which once allowed access to the upstairs chapel.

Here, in Winchester Cathedral, the White flame was a higher feminine vibration and was anchored to transform the control exerted by the patriarchy over sacred/religious places. This also felt very connected to the situation in Israel/Palestine, as if everything would slowly disintegrate and a new feminine awareness would become more apparent. There was a sense that there was no need for the present patriarchal institutions to be destroyed; that was not the feminine way. Instead, the negative structures of the patriarchy could be transmuted, transformed, healed, and the new, higher vibrational energy of the Divine Feminine would change the effect of male anger and their need for complete control. As a result, they would need to give in a little and see with the heart.

When this felt complete, and we could see the flame reaching the vaulted ceiling, I felt the white flame anchor in my base chakra. It burst into flame all the way up my spine, but it was not in my body, like my chakras are, but half in and half outside, flaming up my back. My base chakra was hot and I wondered what effect this flame would have on my life. I did not have to wait long to see just how powerful it was. The flame travelled up my back, getting larger as it went, burning through all my chakras until it emerged at the back of my head where it was contained by a gold crown. (Both my friend and I had this experience She has been doing the Gaia method Earthways for over twenty years). The gold crown contains the flame so that it burns within a limit and not wildly. The gold anchors it at that frequency. I have anchored flames like this in Castlerigg Stone Circle, and in Southampton waters at the meeting of the two rivers, and their influence affects a large area. There have been times when the extent of the energy from Southampton waters could be felt in Winchester.

Once we felt that the energies were complete, we walked back over to to the flame and I found myself adding the barest touch of blue, magenta and gold energy, which gave the vaguest hue to the white flame. These three additional colours are the three rays of Love, Wisdom and Power. (Thanks N for the reminder). Through the cleansing fire of the Divine Feminine, these three ray energies are added to the healing power of the flame.

I had a feeling that this personal anchoring of the flames in my body was going to be a big transmutation, but I had no idea how big until the following week when I went through an emotional clearing like never before. Secrets and lies in my family of origin were painfully exposed and old abuses were finally spoken, especially issues around the men in my family. It was an extremely painful week as injustice, which had been a large part of my life, was brought to light, and I held nothing back. There was a huge need to speak the hidden truths and to stand up for who I was, for the me that was not what others believed me to be. The releasing of these secrets, and they were not mine but those of others, but which once had a massive effect on my life and the lives of my children, was like a black tree whose darkened roots were being torn from different parts of my body. I was very much aware of a past life dynamic that was also being healed so there were multiple levels to deal with. I imagine that as the flame travelled through the chakras they were healing anything that was not Divine Feminine Love.

As a result, I have had a first-hand experience of the power of this Flame and understand how it might change things in the collective unconscious. Things might get a bit chaotic as these energies are released but if we remember that all is in Divine order, then all will be well.

St Cross Michaelmas Fair & Winchester Cathedral.

This morning, I had an entire hour to spare, so Chris and I went to the Michaelmas Craft Fair in St Cross Hospital, Winchester. It is a place where we have carried out much energy-work over the years and this was a great opportunity to do more. And I love it there. It’s the only fair I ever go to. However much I wanted to have more time, it was a flying visit, but we did manage to get coffee and some delicious homemade fruit cake – and I bought some jewellery. I was quite proud of myself too, because I avoided buying yet more books! Even though I was so tempted by some old books on Winchester ‘Antiquities’.

Bit of a tree-theme going on…

St Cross Hospital is an old almshouse set up to feed the poor by Bishop Henry du Blois in 1136. It also fed people who were making pilgrimages. All they had to do was ask at the little window in the wall and a brother would pop his head out and give them their dole of Bread and Beer and they could be on their way. Although I always like to imagine them sitting by the river Itchen to eat and drink what they have received before heading off again on the God-trail. St Cross Hospital is a beautiful place, and from where the pilgrims sat, they would have seen St Catherine’s Hill beyond, looking like a giant womb jutting up behind the river.

This weekend we were also vibrationally attending a ‘Sounds of Mother Gaia’ workshop held by Jadthen Jewall in Surrey. He is an amazing channel and we have been attending his workshops for over twenty years. Being a vibrational attendee, as opposed to attending in person, means we are energetically connected to the workshop and receive the group downloads as they happen. It works like receiving distant attunements or healing. I had already made my energetic connection in the morning, clearing my energy field before going to the fair and soon after the workshop started, I felt the energy coming in strongly. I was glad Chris was the one doing the driving!

As we drove into the field, which had been opened for parking, we were aware of the Green dragon sitting on the roof. Chris perceived it was calling to another dragon energy, but in a place we have never been to: Worcester Cathedral. Perhaps someone else has anchored one there, or one needs to be anchored there? We’ll have to see – when we get the opportunity to visit. We have seen the dragon there before, but always on the building, facing west. Yet, we have never worked with it specifically. But it made me think of the places we have anchored green dragons in and all of them are sacred buildings built over natural springs, which is what the green dragons protect. The Green Dragon in Winchester Cathedral also faces West, I realised. I wonder if there is a reason for that?

Our first port of call, once inside the grounds, was to go to the fish pond. This is a lovely area to the east of the cloisters called The Master’s garden and it has a beautiful Plane tree growing there close to the pond. The tree has been there, along with others in the area, since 1781, and was planted by William Bowles, a fellow of Winchester College. Reading through the last time we worked with these trees, I noticed that we connected in the same way, to the plane trees along the walking route through the water meadows. It seems that plane trees have a golden-rod energy through them. I usually work with Beech and Yew, and those species have a different way of working. The plane trees act as energetic stabilisers.

Click picture in picture button on the lower right side to see the tree in all its glory.

Working with this one now, we stood a little distance from the trunk but still within the energy-field of the tree, and tuned in. I became aware of my gold line connection, running vertically through my central channel, and making a connection to the same central line of the tree. I felt my awareness move up that corresponding channel in the tree trunk, which looks and feels like a strong golden rod, and move out, energetically, into the branches and leaves. Tiny musical notes floated out of the leaves and moved into the air, filling the atmosphere with the vibrations of energetic sound. That sound vibration then expanded out in a never-ending stream to cover a large area.

I left the connection running in the tree, so for a certain amount of time that tree will remain connected to my channel until it is no longer needed. Chris felt that the tree pulled in energy from around itself, so it made sense the tree should receive these sound codes.

Feeling like there was nothing more to do here, we went into the church. It took a conscious shift in energy to move from those lovely tree-vibrations to the vibrations of human history and initially, I thought there was nothing to do here. I took some photos and Chris received information about Henry Du Blois, whose energy places we have worked with many times. I began to receive energies in the form of a Middle Eastern man who placed a large ornate chest in front of me. When he opened it it contained the bones of someone. It reminded me of the old tradition of carrying saint’s bones to different places, as though those bones still hold some of the saint’s energy. The bones were then transferred into my belly, as though now I was the container. I heard the word Agincourt, connected to this.

I have no idea who this is, or why I am carrying the energy of them. I have to say, I have never done this before so will have to see what it means. On an energetic level, it just means I am carrying the energy of the person and I assume that energy has to be put somewhere else.

We left the church and went back outside to have a look at the stalls, and stopped at an archaeological dowsing stall for a chat. Chris had a play with the stall holder’s dowsing rods, (Chris has been doing it for years and is brilliant at it!) and they kept moving in a particular direction. I knew I needed to be right in the centre of the green square, where the sundial is, so I left Chris chatting while I went to work. He joined me when he was finished. He perceived himself to be standing on tiles, like the medieval tiles in Winchester Cathedral (He was planning on going to Winchester later in the day), yet he was physically standing on grass. Psychic impressions often happen with this type of work and they may be showing the past , or the future.

Earlier on, while doing my daily somatic exercises, I brought in an energy made up of a blue, pink and yellow cord plied together like yarn. I knew it had to go somewhere and as I stood at the sundial I saw the energy moving from the sky and down through the sundial where it split off into four lines of plied colour. Each line then went to a corner of the inner space. It felt very balanced and stabilising once it had been established.

Energy placements.

Once this had been done, the amethyst appeared above the plied triple colours, its energies flowing down along them and into the area. The three colours represent Pink = Unconditional Love; Blue = Divine Power and Yellow = Divine Wisdom. The Amethyst level is the highest crystalline energy in Gaia’s energy body and holds the divine blueprint and thoughtforms for humanity. Therefore it opens people’s higher minds to access new thoughts and ideas which can benefit everybody. It is a lovely thought that these energies can flow into this place, which has an energetic influence far greater than its physical self.

I had no time left, so Chris went into Winchester to visit the cathedral. When he got there, a tall, energetic gold flagpole stood about twenty meters in front of the main entrance. A sapphire was placed halfway up this flagpole, and the faceted crystal sphere he had been given in St. Cross Hospital, was now placed near the top. Inside the cathedral, another sapphire hovered in the air above the heart point in the nave (there are three energy points along the nave corresponding to the three Tan Tien of the physical body: The Earth tan tien, the heart, and the third eye. These points are on the blue energy-line which flows beneath the Cathedral from east to west).

This seems relatively normal, in terms of active energies, however, behind the cathedral, he saw a Ruby cube rotating. I’ve never seen one of these, and neither has he, but this site is a masculine power site, with a feminine spring beneath it, so perhaps we will have to see more to understand what this means. Platonic solids possibly? The cube would be a hexahedron, the sapphire shape an octahedron and the quartz crystal an icosohedron That equates to earth, air and water.

Plato believed that these shapes were the building blocks of creation. So the shapes in the Cathedral are earth, air and water. The two placed on the flagpole are on different energy levels so they affect those layers. The same thing applies to the one in the cathedral, above the heart energy point and the one behind the building.

What this means, I do not know. “Ours is not to reason why; ours is but to do .. or die.” Well … maybe not the die. Not yet, anyway. There’s far too much work to do. But I, for one, would love to understand what function these geometric shapes have over the energies in the cathedral – in a practical sense. But maybe we’ll never know. We simply have to trust that our higher selves know what they are doing.

And that is all that is important.

Connecting Trees with Crystalline Energy.

A few months ago, I was driving through Crab Wood, (on the outskirts of Winchester, in Hampshsire) and received a message from the trees which, at the time, I completely misinterpreted. Crab Wood is an older woodland on the outskirts of Winchester, in hampshire. It is covered in bluebells in late Spring and has been coppiced since at least the sixteenth century. It also contains beech trees, some large old oak, birch and ash and lies within the boundaries of Farley Mount Woods, which has its own elemental energy guardian.

View of Sparsholt from the edge of Woods.

I was feeling particularly tired, over-extended and emotionally drained on that day, and I needed the green of early spring leaves to make me feel normal again. The one-track road snakes through the woods, surrounded on each side by beech trees planted to create a boundary line, and as I drove along I suddenly felt like I was a tree and had four large branches, each extending, like arms, in four directions. At the time, I interpreted this to mean I was being supported by the tree, and that it existed somewhere in these woods. It felt very nurturing, as though the tree was reminding me that I was not alone; my tree-family were with me. At that point, it was exactly what I needed, and so feeling soothed, I continued on to my father’s home.

Three weeks ago, (July 13th) I drove that way again, but I was early and decided to stop off in a layby to go for a walk. I had passed a path through the trees many times but never stopped to explore it. Today was the day for exploration. I followed the path until I saw a huge old beech tree, which on approaching, I could feel its energy. It extended out about twenty feet from the trunk.

First Beech Tree.

For this tree, I had to walk around it anti-clockwise and when I did, I placed my hand on its trunk and allowed my consciousness to travel upwards into its branches. There, I experienced a mind-to-mind connection, like a melding of consciousness, and I was told I needed to walk back the way I had come because there was another tree I needed to connect to. As I walked away, following the instructions, I felt a gold line connect to my crown centre from the upper branches which I knew was to do with the other tree.

When I came to the road, there was the tree I had passed on my way into the woods. I had noticed it at the time but, because I felt no energy from it, continued along the path. But I had needed to notice it because it turned out to be important. That often happens. You notice something but it doesn’t feel ‘quite right’. Yet!

I tuned into the tree and saw an amethyst above its branches. At first, I thought I was imagining it. Why would a tree be connecting to an upper, crystalline layer? But then, I saw energy from the amethyst layer flow into the branches, filling them up. But the energy didn’t stop where the branches did, it continued to flow out the end of each tip creating a giant amethyst sphere all around the tree.

Seocond Beech tree beside the road.

The tree was the conduit, and anchor, for the amethyst energy which spread out well beyond it. I had the idea that every person who drove by, or walked that path, would receive some of this energy and the thoughtforms it contained. The amethyst level of the earth’s crystalline field is a higher frequency layer akin to the spiritual mind of Earth, if you imagine that earth has its own energy field, just as we do. That Mind contains ideas and thoughts that can benefit the world, like a computer database which we can download mentally, if we are given access. I wondered what those thoughts and ideas might be. Perhaps ways of caring for the woodland and the surrounding countryside, or more in line with what nature wants, rather than what we think it needs? Or, perhaps, they could be spiritual ideas, ways of staying healthy or ways to connect with trees. I don’t know. But I will be keeping an eye on what happens in the area.

I didn’t have time to do more, although I knew that on the other side of the road, and up the path through that part of the woods, there was another tree I needed to find. But it would have to wait until next time.

On the seventeenth of July, having time to spare, I followed the path through the other woods. I had no idea where to find this tree but I knew it was there somewhere. I walked through the woodland, took photos of fungi, and felt the trees I came to along the way. Feeling is about opening awareness and feeling for the vibration of consciousness. The right tree would make itself known. Having wandered for over half an hour, following little paths that meandered through the woods, I found myself in a clearing. There was the tree I was looking for.

First Mother Tree

There were two trees in this clearing and I knew both were significant. One was a Mother Tree, the other, a Brother. That is how they came to me. They didn’t feel ‘awake’, but I acknowledged them both and went to the older Mother Tree to tune in. I sat at the base of the tree but felt the need to walk anti-clockwise around it. However, when I had finished the first circuit, I continued to walk clockwise around the Brother Tree, thereby creating a lemniscate pattern of golden light. I did this three times. Something made me feel this was not simply about the trees but also about a situation in ‘real life’, that this joining was about joining a mother with a son. Yet this figure of eight pattern not only joined, energetically, it also created a boundaried separation, as though it was saying: you are energetically connected, but exist independently with your own purpose, and within your own space. And that is as it should be.

The Brother Tree

I was impulsed to stand on the cross-over point of the pattern of eight and as I did, I saw a gold line going from this point along the way I had come, then another going off in the opposite direction. I knew I had to follow this second line.

This gold-line direction was showing me the path to another tree, and I had to completely trust my intuition, because I was in the woods after all, and the paths are not straight, as the gold line was. But the next tree was so obvious. It was huge, very old and the energy emanating from it was unmistakable.

The Guardian.

I walked towards her and her energy was strong. She invited me to connect with her, so I walked around her once, and then leaned my back against her wide trunk. Then I heard her say: I am an old woman, guardian of these woods for many years. I hold the elemental energies of this place, ensuring all is kept in balance. She felt so old, like a grandmother, and all the trees were her children. Much like the tree in the woods beside Lainston house on a previous visit.

Then she went on to give me advice on how to work with the elemental energies of France and Spain, which is the next part of my journey, once I am complete here in the UK. As she spoke, I had that familiar feeling of wanting to curl up in her roots and sleep like a baby. This is a common experience when connecting with a Mother tree. They have such a nurturing energy that you feel you want to lie down in the safety and love they provide. In the photo just above, you can see how children have created a couple of rope swings to swing from her branches, which is lovely.

Before I left, she gave me an etheric bottle of her essence, to fill me when I needed extra energetic help. These etheric energies kick in when needed and most times I don’t know I am using them. Much of it happens in the astral layer of the energy field.

That earlier connection, through one tree, as I drove through Crab Wood, was a download I would be using at some later point, but which I didn’t recognise at the time. And that is often how it works. You could be given an energy that might come into play months, even years, after the initial download. But as soon as you ‘see’ it, while working, you will recognise it and remember. In effect, you are like a living computer with installed software in the different layers of your energy field which you only use when called to do so. Which is reassuring because then, nothing is wasted. Even if you have to take breaks between the times you work and the times you cannot, you can be safe knowing that the energies will be used at some point. Sometimes too, it is not the right time and other things need to happen first, or you need further development before you are ready for that particular job.

But rest assured, it will happen, because once the download is installed, it is only a matter of time.

What was most interesting to me about this particular tree-work was the connection with the crystalline Amethyst sphere. I had not been aware that trees could channel these energies, or that they were compatible with the very different crystalline energies and were able to hold them. But I suppose, if we, as healers, can hold the energies of trees perhaps I should not be so surprised that trees can hold the energies of crystals. The tree was an anchor for those energies, like bringing heaven to earth, making those higher thoughts available to us here on the ground.

If you want to visit, the tree is on the left side just before you leave the woods on the way to Sparsholt Village. It lies next to the path which leads up along the wood boundary.

You can’t miss it.

Crystal Sphere Attunements.

Three weeks ago, my guides transferred to me a new way of sharing the crystal energies I had been carrying for over twenty years. It involved the use of crystal rays, anchored in the chakras on three separate, but interconnected levels. I initially received these crystal energies over a period of months in 2004, and at that time, my guides told me that this was the symbolism used in the breastplate of Aaron. The video below shows how it was constructed, according to one version of sacred writings, but if you think about this as both a physical object and an energetic object, you may get a glimpse of what the crystals might have been used for and what energies the priest was capable of working with. Remember too that Moses, his brother Aaron (priest) and his sister Miriam, (prophetess) came from Egypt and the knowledge they held was learned there.

This would also explain the symbolism of the colours used in the weaving of the plate itself. I think that over time the true meaning of this breastplate was forgotten as history was rewritten and changed over the telling of it. What may have been understood when the high priests first wore the plate, was no longer understood, or maybe the interpretations changed because the scribes didn’t have access to the sacred knowledge. Who knows?

When you hold these crystal energies in your chakras, they give you access to the crystalline layers of the earth’s energy field. These spheres, and their crystal rays, are anchored one sphere at a time, with a space of time between each anchoring to allow each level to be fully integrated. Each sphere corresponds to a crystal energy in the Earth’s energy field. (See the video below).

The first sphere contains two crystal rays: Emerald for the nature-elementals of land, and Blue Topaz for the world of the sea. These two energies represent the consciousness of land and sea and all the layers they contain, including the physical. The planet is, at its most basic level, the physical matter of land and water.

The spheres are anchored electrically, meaning their energy affects the electromagnetic energy of your field. Lightning, in the form of an energetic bolt, is used as a high-voltage cleanser, cleansing heavy energies both in the human energy-field and in the planetary field. Physical lightning does the same breaking up heavy, stagnant energy and renewing the area. It recharges the part of the world is actively engaged with.

The second sphere is a higher vibrational energy made up of Ruby and Diamond, the Feminine and Masculine energy- fields around the planet, the layers that contain the Divine Mother and Divine Father thoughtforms. These layers hold positive beliefs about Love and pure spiritual thought, thoughtforms which are being anchored by many people around the world. The Ruby is Divine Feminine LOVE and the Diamond is Divine Masculine THOUGHT.

In each of the first two spheres, the pairing of land and sea; Mother and father, provides Balance.

The third sphere is the Amethyst, which contains the higher thoughtforms of purpose, and spiritual development on earth. This would be akin to the Spiritual MIND which is above all physical, emotional, or mental concerns. It does not contain two balancing energies because it is above polarity. Our world exists as a polarity, which is not a bad thing. Polarity links two things together. It connects, like the positive and negative ends of a battery. We need both energies, in this world, to learn and grow and to live.

If you were to imagine the earth as a human energy-field, the levels would correspond to the physical, etheric, emotional, mental, and higher mental body. The crystal energy in each of these crystal ‘bodies’ influences how we think and how we relate to the different aspects of each sphere. If you knew that you were related energetically to nature, if you knew, without doubt, that you were related to the trees and the plants; if you saw your sameness, the way we are all composed of the same elements of nature in different ways, would you treat it like a commodity? Would you destroy the worlds of all your relatives for your own personal desires? Or would you want to work in partnership with that world; recognising that we are all related and that what you do for one you do for all?

The same idea applies to the second sphere. How we relate to each other, as males and females living on the planet, how we think as male and female, how we fight, how we heal, how we learn to work together, etc.. is what this sphere influences. (Again, I am talking here about polarities, not gender identification, which may also be part of the learning to balance the opposite polarities within oneself).

Gaia’s body contains many dimensions. The crystalline intelligence is just one of those and one which we learn to use in anchoring her Divine crystal energies into the grid. Working with these layers influences the development of those qualities in humans. The ancestors understood the crystalline energies well because they built their stone circles and other monuments with stones that contain quartz and other types of crystal. They might not have understood it in the same way as we do now, but they understood its importance in holding energy and its ability to transmit that energy into the landscape.

I have been working with these crystal layers for quite a while, but this attunement allows me to pass it on and work with it in a more precise way. Previously, we opened sites to the Ruby layer, and to the Diamond but only one to the Amethyst band. Sites which allow access to these crystal layers are Gateway sites. It is part of what makes them special. I have a sneaky feeling that the Gateways to the Underworld, known as the Sidhe, might also have served this function and this knowledge came down to us in folklore. Of course, there is a way to test this theory … if anyone wants to try it.

One amethyst site that immediately springs to mind is one of the burial mounds, or barrows, near the cursus at Stonehenge. When we were working with the barrows there, the amethyst was clearly visible above one of the barrows, as though it was suspended in the air. That was my first awareness of there being an Amethyst layer. There may well be other, higher vibrational crystal layers, but we haven’t accessed them yet.

Uffington, famous for its White horse carved into the side of a hill, is a Ruby site, as are both Banjo enclosures in Micheldever Woods, Hampshire. When you are on the top of the hill, you are sitting in the layer of the Ruby, which looks more magenta than red. The magenta contains the pink of Divine love.

At a Banjo enclosure site, the gateway for Ruby energy is usually at the bottom of the avenue, rather than at the centre, which is where you will usually find the Emerald energy. The Emerald energy, therefore, regulates the elemental energies that create fertility around, and in, the site, And the Ruby gateway opens the upper layer, the energy of Mother, which either funnels down to the gateway or up from the gateway. Sometimes, at different points of the year, the Ruby travels up the avenue and into the Banjo enclosure to encompass the emerald energy sphere. So it is radiating both Emerald and Ruby.

The crystalline layers intersect on different levels, which means they can also bridge sites of a different time, and a different belief system, such as Bronze Age/Iron Age sites with modern Christianity. I believe this is what they were designed to do.

Banjo enclosure with crystal vortices.

There is a mingling of beliefs happening across the world, as newer ideas take hold, but it is important that some of the more ancient ideas stay with us. Our ancestors knew what they were doing, energetically, and it is important that we remember, and continue to develop the interdimensional work they did so well.

Most of the work we have been doing lately has been about bridging the different timelines, reinfusing Christian rituals with the ancient fertility rituals, and acknowledgement the Earth as Mother. Working in Timelimes is important as valuable information is retrieved from ancestral wisdom traditions.

Return to the Magdalene Flame in Sparsholt. March 2023.

Doorway into St. Stephen’s Church, Sparsholt.

When I said it was finished, I really thought it was. But this morning, with half an hour to spare on the way to my father’s, I had a sudden impulse to stop at St. Stephen’s Church in Sparsholt again. Actually, I had an impulse to explore the little road that turned to the left and which led to it, but then I made a snap decision and parked in front of the church gate instead. As I walked towards the front door, I questioned why I was there, when I had already done the flame. Was something else needed? Had I forgotten something? It had felt complete at the time, but as I know from experience, energy gets layered, so maybe this was one of those extra-layer-things.

Inside, all was quiet, so I returned to the altar where I could see the Magenta Flame burning steadily. As I waited, I felt that familiar sensation of energy activating in my lower Tan Tien and my energetic cord connected to the flame. Next, I had the same sensation in my heart, as it too made an energetic connection. Lastly, my third eye connected and as it did I noticed that the cords were like lightning and I was receiving the MF(Magenta Flame) energy along them. I had never had this experience before and wondered what it was about when I felt my own MF expand and become as big as the one in the church so that we matched in frequency.

I began to receive information that this flame needed to be anchored somewhere, and heard ‘Across the Water’, and something about a lake. Then I remembered a message I had received a few days ago about a lake, and told not to forget Padua. Padua is in Italy, but did they mean literally a lake near Padua, or a church dedicated to an Italian saint who came from Padua and which is beside a lake here in the UK? I have no idea, but thinking practically, I imagine it was the latter. I have been wrong before, however. That’s the problem with trying to decipher the meanings of events before the event happens. I had made the same mistake at St. Catherine’s when I didn’t understand the Bull image. At the time, I felt it had to do with the symbolic reference to the four saints which I have seen carved into other small churches. But it was simply a reference to the name of the place: Bullington. Although it was St. Michael, so I might have been half right!

Once I felt the energy stop, I gazed at the line of white stones someone had placed on the step right in front of the altar and beneath them, scratched into the step as if someone had accidentally scraped a layer of paint from the surface, was a shape that looked like Italy. As ridiculous as it sounds, and because everything means something, I wondered if it might actually mean there would be a visit to Padua, in Italy. I thought of my aunt, who lives in Sicily. I had planned to visit her there, so maybe I could also go to Italy … when I am free of current obligations, that is.

I felt myself being turned around. This is an energetic turning, not being physically turned, as if my energy-field is turned and I have no choice but to follow it. When I turned and was facing the other end of the church, I heard “Go.” And that was it. Done and dusted. But, I was so very aware that everything that happens while doing this work has layers of meaning, so they might also mean that I had to go to the lake, that it would soon be time to ‘go’. It would also explain the necessity for the larger than life recharging of the Magdalene Flame.

I wandered around, finding a little area with a wooden statue of Mary, or St. Catherine. I’m not sure which. I saw a picture when I came into the church which mentioned a chantry chapel dedicated to St Catherine. I wonder if this is the same St Catherine that they dedicated the church in Littleton to?

When I got to my father’s, while he watched rugby on TV, I Googled churches near a lake near with Padua. I found Saint Anthony, a popular saint for Catholics. I remember him well. Whenever anyone lost anything in Ireland it was praying to Saint Anthony that helped them find it. Anthony loved Padua, it was his spiritual home, and there is a large lake ninety kilometres away from the centre of the city. There is also a basilica there dedicated to him. The message “Across the water,” also implies crossing the sea, so we’ll have to see what they mean. If it really is in Italy, then I have time to wait. If, on the other hand, it is local, it might be in the next couple of weeks.

Either way, I’ll find out.

Later that evening, I was telling my friend Chris about it. He often comes up with interesting bits of information. but while he was mentioning lake Garda, I remembered wanting to do a Life Between Lives therapist training at Lake Garda a few years ago. But I ended up back in the UK, then Covid hit and my father needed me, so I put Lake Garda away. Looks like it was the right place, and definitely not the right time. Buy maybe the time was approaching…

I also remembered that before I had left the house earlier in the day, I had accessed the Tibetan Dai Ko Myo energy. I often get the impulse to raise my arms to bring something down and this time I found I was holding the symbol in my arms, guiding it into my crown centre and energy-field. I usually use this symbol when attuning someone to Reiki so I thought it might mean that.

In the church, the Magenta Flame transfer felt like an attunement, although why I was being attuned to an energy I had put there in the first place was beyond me. Perhaps it had something to do with the symbol itself. When I brought it in, the two arms of the ‘Y’ were my arms and the jagged little symbol between them was a lightning energy – which explains the lightning arcing from the flame to my three centres – and the spiral was in my body. Usually, when I use symbols that have spirals they coil around my Tan Tien, like serpent energies, otherwise known as Kundalini energy. Kundalini energy is earth energy but this energy was coming from above, not from the earth. Yet its job is to activate and open. (I often find with energy symbols that the little horizontal line on the top of a symbol represents the mind. So this symbol is like energy that comes into the mind while the arms bring energy through them, which connects at the heart and then activates the lower Tan Tien, otherwise known as the Dan Tien).

Not the best drawing without a tablet but you get the idea.

Also known as the Dragon’s Breath, it is supposed to represent the Kundalini flame, cleansing and purifying the chakras. Lightning, for me, has always been about cleansing negative energy, and I use a technique using the Lightning bolt of Neptune which does this when I am holding too much of other people’s energy. So, I’m guessing that my three centres, the three tan Tiens, upper, middle and lower, needed cleansing by the Magdalene Flame in preparation for holding more of that energy. But to what end I do not know and why I should need that is also a mystery. But, I’ll find out one way or the other. I usually do.

All I have to do now is wait for the personal healing that is bound to come with it!

PS. Nearly all the small churches in this sequence of activations have female Rectors, which must be significant, especially when the Magdalene Flame is about healing the wounded male consciousness. Many of the wardens are also female.

The Brigit and Magdalene Flame in Chilbolton. St Mary the Lesser.

This was very simple sharing of the Magdalene Flame. After the last anchoring in Bullington church, I wasn’t feeling any great urge to do any more, yet a little energy still seemed to remain. I wasn’t sure what this residual energy was but I decided to follow the ‘sign-post’ anyway and headed to the beautiful village of Wherwell, which I thought might be the next destination. However, while I was driving, with only an hour in which to visit, just as I was passing the turn-off for Chilbolton, I followed the impulse to take that instead.

Chilbolton is another church on the circuit and the other churches were actually part of old Chilbolton Manor, as I discovered while researching St. Catherine’s in Littleton. I don’t like doing this research before doing the work as I don’t want my mental information to interfere with my intuitive hunches, although, many times, I am unaware of the church’s role in the circuit until I work with it. Once I’ve done the work, then I can do the research. This is also useful because it can confirm the information you have picked up with y our intuition.

It was only when I got to the village that I recognised it. I had been here before and had made a connection with a beautiful old Pine tree outside the main entrance. Actually, it was the tree I recognised, and as soon as I saw it I knew I had been there before. On my first visit, over twenty years ago, I was greeted by this old tree, and its energy spread out all around the area. Its job was as guardian, holding the energy for the area. Today, however, it was quiet, but I said hello anyway.

I had originally been introduced to this place by a friend called Lisa, who used to be the minister here. When I knew her, I was working in the Speaking Tree Bookshop in Winchester and she was a regular visitor. She was a very interesting lady who was trying to come to terms with intuitive knowledge while working as a Christian minister. She also had a wonderful connection to a Greek Goddess. Together we visited a number of prehistoric sacred places around Andover and received interesting information about the Anna Valley. (I’ll root it out and post it for anyone who might be interested).

I wandered inside the church, wondering if Lisa was still a minister there, and tried to connect to the energies. Finally, standing in front of the altar, I found myself channelling a prayer. I am not a pray-er, so when this happens, I am often immediately uncomfortable, but, reframing it, a prayer is a petition, so I put my judgement aside and said the words that came into my head.

“O holy Mother, I ask permission to install your flame so that all who visit and worship here can partake of your living, abundant energy. Let no person leave without you in their heart and may all who come here benefit from your wisdom and love. Let also those who receive it pass it on to those who need it. Amen.”

After this, I saw myself placing an already lit, large magenta candle on the altar. Although the candle was Magenta, the flame was orange; a combination of the Magdalene and Brigit energies. The light of the flame expanded filling the space with warmth and light. Next, just as at Crawley and Bullington, the May Queen’s Hawthorn flower wreath was placed around the candle’s base thereby anchoring the May energies too.

This was a short and simple anchoring of a portion of the Magdalene Flame and the feminine Spring mysteries.

Sometimes, the anchorings are this simple, especially if they come on the heel of longer workings. There must be some significance that, aside from the original Church of St. Edward the Confessor anchoring, all the others are part of the same network. Chilbolton was originally granted by King Athelstan to the church of Winchester and until church properties were taken by Henry VIII, the manor of Chilbolton remained in Church hands. Edward the confessor was the last Saxon king and was crowned at Winchester cathedral in April 1043. That makes me wonder if the anchoring of the Magdalene Flame has something to do with that time layer, when many small Saxon churches were founded.

The early Saxons were pagans but converted to Christianity under the influence of Irish missionaries (wouldn’t you know!). BUT, Irish Christianity was a different Christianity to the more dogmatic Roman version. On the Aran islands, back in 2006/7, my friend and I discovered a very beautiful Christianity, more nature-based than dogmatic, so this, I imagine, is why the pagan Saxons were able to accept Christianity in the first place. It was a beautiful movement which honoured both Mother and Father. Although it probably wasn’t as idyllic as I’m painting it. Saxon bishops were probably proclaiming their Saxon Christian power in the same way as other people have usurped the purity of spiritual energy and beliefs, using God as their weapon.

Looking at the history of Saxon churches and Edward the Confessor, it appears that he wanted to change the English church, with its hundreds of saints and continuing beliefs in Elves and Goblins, to a more European version, which was very Roman. Most of the churches in the Manor of Chilbolton were originally founded by the Saxons and might have been built on earlier sacred sites. But I might be looking for connections that don’t actually exist. Yet, when I think about working in a network of churches like I have been doing, there is a reason why those places are important, especially when they are historically connected. The Henry du Blois connection, at Littleton, was important, because he was more than simply a historic character. He was a very spiritual man who was devoted to the Divine Feminine consciousness and built his own network of churches with the intention of anchoring the balance between the male and female, although it would have been couched in terms more acceptable to the religious public.

Henry Du Blois

But, there is also the Soul development aspect which plays a part. Humanity goes through cycles of beliefs, just as individuals do, and there are times when those beliefs need to be tweaked. Spiritual ideas are anchored at those points which the Guides of Humanity hope will take root. They don’t always, or if they do, the more emotional human desires get in the way and those new ideas are either rooted out or suppressed. No one knows how thoughtforms will be received, Humans have free-will and therefore make their own choices. I had an experience of this myself.

Twenty-three years ago, when I was working in the Speaking Tree bookshop, a man began coming in. He claimed to be a healer and told me he wanted to train as a Reiki practitioner. However, his idea of Reiki was to become a Reiki Master over a weekend and make lots of money. He was also someone who took advantage of women, using them for his own ends and fancied himself another David Icke. He had a choice as to how to use his ability to channel healing energies but he had free-will and therefore could act as he pleased. There will always be people who put power and money over Love, but the hope is that if enough people choose Love, they just might create something different, even if only in small, quiet communities. And who knows? Maybe Reiki helped that man heal his power issues, or maybe he was a Dark Knight, there to help people find their own power – the hard way.

In our little community of Chilbolton Manor Churches, the hope is that the energies will affect people with open minds and help bring a note of balance to the world.

Destiny is all… as Uhtred would say.

The Brigit and Magdalene Flame. Part Six. St. Michael and All Angels, Bullington, Hampshire.

Bullington Church.

The day after visiting Barton Stacey church, I drove along to Bullington. However, the church there was closed so I couldn’t get in to do what I was sure needed to be done. I thought I had gotten it wrong. Perhaps this little church, part of an old farming community and built by the lord of the manor for his family’s private worship back in the 1300s, was not part of the Magdalene network. So, I took some photos and drove to my father’s house, which was a five-minute drive away, and then forgot all about it.

The following day, I drove my father to Sutton Scotney to see his doctor but as I drove I saw the road as if it was a blue serpent, winding its way through the countryside, and I was following it. I wondered how far we were from the river Dever and googled it at the surgery. As it turned out, Bullington church was only a short distance away from the river which meandered, serpent-like behind it.

Later that evening, the local parish magazine was delivered to the house and as I flicked through it, I noticed that the church would be open for matins the following Sunday morning. OK, I would have to attend a service, but that was alright. Perhaps that would be important; maybe the other people’s energy might contribute to whatever was being anchored.

The Twelve Apostle Trees.

Once again, on the Sunday drive through Sparsholt, I felt the energy of the MF in St. Stephen’s church while I was driving through Crab Wood. I filled up with this energy and as I came near St Catherine’s, in Littleton, I sent out what looked like a gold fishing line from my tan Tien that connected to the work I had done there. As I drove on to Bullington, I brought both these energies with me.

It was a lovely sunny day and I got to the church with five minutes to spare. I was surprised that I wasn’t feeling nervous going into a place I was unfamiliar with and meeting people I didn’t know, especially a group of people who were already established in their community relationships. As an unknown, I would stick out like a sore thumb, which is not a position I feel comfortable in. Normally, I am quite self-conscious and situations like this can trigger feelings of anxiety. However, I didn’t feel remotely fazed. I said hello to the ten people there, took my seat, and the woman next to me, who was the churchwarden, gave me the prayer book open to the right page.

The churchgoers were warm and inviting and the church felt very cosy. I didn’t know what to expect, or what to do, but followed what everyone else was doing. When it came to the readings, I tuned in and anchored the energies. The main energy was the anchoring of the Magdalene Flame which was placed on the altar. The magenta tube then descended over it, as it did in the other churches. When these both were fully in place, rose petals gently descended, each one representing the love of the Mother. Once again, the palm tree appeared and the flame was anchored through the use of the Was-sceptre. The same as in Chandler’s Ford.

Was-Sceptre Anchoring.

This entire anchoring was carried out while the service was going on; each part happening with small time gaps in between. This is a layering of energies, which takes place over a physical period of time, in a sequence.

After the petals had begun to fall there was a short pause and I saw my Ka-self (that Higher-Self part of me that does this work) standing at the altar again, placing the chalice of wafers I had received from MM at Barton Stacey, on the altar cloth, within the magenta tube of energy. A little while later, a chalice of wine was raised, in the tube, to be blessed by the Mother, her rose petals filling the chalice to combine with the wine. In the past, bread was charged over vortices in the earth, now they could be charged through the Magenta Mother channel, her love connection between ‘heaven and earth’. The bread, once charged in this way, would be shared with the congregation during communion, as would the rose-petal, love-filled wine.

Bullington Church

The bread and wine I had received at Barton Stacey church had been for Bullington church. So when MM had said ‘This is my church’, was she talking about Bullington, or all the churches connected with her energy, a community of holy places? I’m still not sure.

The service went on and I thought that the work was finished, but the right side of my face began to feel hot, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw a Brigit Flame burning in the aisle, opposite the entrance. This flame felt very different to the higher vibrational MF at the altar. It was much more physical than that, another frequency entirely. I focussed my attention on this flame to see what was needed. Slowly, as I kept it in my vision, it grew to about six feet high. A gold band was then placed around the top of the flame, as had happened in Crawley Church, but this band was the regular gold band, holding the energy at a particular frequency. As I watched, I saw the band being adjusted, and then it transformed into a large, spoked wagon wheel, with a hub in the centre of the flame. The wheel expanded until it spread out, connecting to other places.

I have worked with energetic wagon wheels before, especially while anchoring energy in Egypt. It seems to connect different communities, or people together, the spokes representing the places to be connected. I had a feeling that these spokes were people, people who had a common cause, or belief, and who were held by this flame energy. This became clearer at the end of the service.

Aspergillums

Next, I saw a priest bless the flame with holy water, casting little drops of it with an aspergillum (great word!), much the same as in Crawley church where the flame was blessed with incense. Although why one flame was sanctified with fire and the other with water, I have no idea. In Roman sacrificial rites, a laurel twig was used to sprinkle holy water but this was later replaced by the aspergillum. An aspergillum is used in Roman Catholic and Anglican ceremonies, including Baptism and during Easter. A priest will use the aspergillum to bless the candles, during candlemas, and the palms during Palm Sunday Mass. The name derives from the Latin verb aspergere ‘to sprinkle’. The Easter season was just about to start, so perhaps this was why the flame was being blessed. Palm Sunday was only around the corner. It would also explain the palm tree in both Chandlers Ford and here. The ceremonies carried out over Easter might have something to do with it.

At the end of the service, I stood and chatted with four of the congregation: The minister and his wife, the church-warden and another man. The rest had left. We stood around the flame, although they didn’t know it. It felt like they were the spokes of the wagon wheel because they do the rounds of all the churches I had been working on. There are not enough people in each village now for weekly services. I was particularly happy with the Minister (or Rev, or something). A lovely, connected man with a strong spiritual core, he had given a talk about mysticism, and Julian of Norwich, which struck me as very interesting, and he considered himself to be a mystic. He also explained an experience I had had during the service. We were going through the book of prayers they use and at one point I felt the energy of an Egyptian temple. The congregation then began to recite the Catholic creed. These were Anglicans; why were they reciting a Catholic prayer? This completely confused me but it also explained why I was picking up Egyptian energies. Catholic rituals go right back to Egyptian temple worship. But why was this happening in an Anglican church?

As it turned out, they are an Anglican-Catholic group, which seems to be a thing now. But it also makes sense to me, because the roots of Catholicism are in Egypt. But it was very interesting to be picking up these energies during the service and to see how Egyptian energies are still such a part of modern worship, and how that root is getting stronger again. Hopefully, though, it would not become the controlling dogma the Romans created.

Pink circles are MF and Orange circles are BF

When I was writing this up, I was reminded of the Bull image I had briefly seen in St Catherine’s Church in Littleton. They were saying ‘Bull-ington’, but I didn’t understand it at the time. It felt like I had come full circle, from the anchoring at Chandler’s Ford to Bullington. The above image shows the flames and their connections. Only one of those churches, St Mary the Lesser in Chilbolton, had an energy attached, but didn’t seem to be a major part of the circuit; the same as Crawly Church didn’t feel connected to the main circuit.

St Mary the Lesser would be the last church to be done in February, which I will post next time.

The Brigit Flame. Part Five. St Mary’s Church, Crawley, Hampshire.

St Mary’s Church is a lovely village church, set back from the main street in Crawley. I had decided to drive through the top of the village, rather than the bottom like I normally do, on impulse. The village pond is at the bottom of this village and I like to see the ducks and coots sitting on the grass beside it or trying to walk across the frozen surface during cold spells.

St Mary’s Church.

This time, As I drove past, I had no intention of stopping. I had not received any energetic information about doing this church, no energy-connections or visual information to tell me I needed to do anything here, yet I spontaneously decided to stop. Sometimes, when that happens, it is as if another part of me wants my personality part to explore something. I usually have to give in because if I don’t, it tugs at me for days afterwards.

I parked up and walked the path through the very pretty graveyard. Inside, the church was freezing. I imagine it is too expensive to heat an empty church so they leave the heating off until they hold services.

As usual, I went straight to the Altar but felt nothing. Nada, zilch, not a glimmer. What was I doing here, then, I wondered. Why did I stop instead of simply driving past? I checked the time on my phone and discovered I had forgotten my reading glasses. Damn! Then I thought that I really shouldn’t be so negative. The feelings of irritation would not help me to pick anything up.

Looking towards the Altar.

Because I could feel nothing there, I decided to look at the structure of the building. Energetically, nothing was happening in this part of the church. It also felt like there was no energy here at all but I could not understand why there wasn’t. I looked behind me and noticed the fragments of Norman dogtooth pattern on the masonry of the arch. I felt like I was looking at the external wall of the building and that this part with the altar was added on years after the Norman building. There were two very distinct energy regions going on.

Dog’s tooth pattern.

I walked into, what I felt, was the original part of the building and when I stood looking at the altar from there, I heard someone say ‘Go back a little further’. So I took a few steps back and when I did, saw a bright Brigit flame ignite on the ground in front of me. I continued to watch it as it grew until it had expanded as much as it was going to expand.

Next, I saw myself place a green and white crown of hawthorn blossoms at its base. This is the energy of the ancient Feminine Spring rituals that we had been given the gift of experiencing a couple of years ago at the Bronze Age burial mounds on Magdalene Down, on the other side of Winchester.

Hawthorn

Once this had been anchored at the flame’s base, I saw a gold bejewelled crown being placed above the flame. This felt like a more Christian, Godly symbol, where the hawthorn was distinctly ‘pagan’ as if the two belief systems were being joined.

I had ‘brought in’ energy the previous day while cooking my father’s evening meal. Often, when doing something very unconnected with energy, I feel the energy coming in, activating in my body. When this happens, I feel the urge to raise my arms into the air to receive something or to bring down energy for some future work. In this instance, I was given a gold crown with jewels on it. It was big when it was above my head but as it moved over me it became smaller until it eventually fit snuggly around my waist. At the time I did not know what it was for, or why it was around my body, like a girdle (remember those?), but I soon forgot about it and got on with the cooking.

Now, however, I watched as the crown moved down to contain the uppermost part of the flame, just like the girdle. I have done this with flames before, but not with a crown. Usually, the containing energy looks like a wedding band, containing the energy of a flame and holding it at a constant frequency. It doesn’t matter how big the flame is, the gold band will hold its upper part so that the flame curves out over it.

Containing Energy of the Gold Crown.

The final part of this activation was the image of a priest swinging a thurible of incense over the area, allowing the smoke to waft over the bright orange flame. This dedicates and sanctifies the flame, blessing it. This image of a catholic priest blessing a Brigit Flame felt like an acceptance of some older, pre-Christian energies.

The energy of the Brigit Flame is a very different energy from the Magdalene Flame. It is a more earthy, creative vibration, whereas the Magdalene Flame is of a higher heart/thought vibration. The Brigit Flame relates to the Tan Tien in the human body, the creative centre behind the navel; the Magdalene Flame is a heart energy but from a higher spiritual level in the energy body. It allows access to higher levels of Soul information and intention.

There are seven energy layers in the earth’s energy body just as our energy-body has seven layers. The first level is the fiery lava beneath the earth’s mantle; the second level is water as it runs below the surface of the earth; the third level is the surface. These three levels make up the creative layers of the physical world. But above these three physical levels the energy changes. It is no longer physical. The layer immediately above the earth is a magenta, ruby layer, relating to the Mother consciousness. Certain sites are created to connect to this layer and we can create energy tubes to channel this living, rosy energy onto the physical plane. The MF (Magdalene Flame) is the aspect of the Mother that heals the wounded male energies and as such, it is an archetypal energy.

Magenta Mother Layer.

There are similarities between how older, prehistoric sites, and later sites, are set up to channel and hold both the energies of the Brigit Flame and the Ruby (the Magdalene flame is an archetypal energy of the Ruby/Mother energy). The BF is often in the centre of a circular site, where people would have been living, but the MF is usually at a gateway point some distance from the site centre but from where it can feed the entire area, adding the love of the Divine Mother. The creative energies of the MF positively influence the more physical creations manifested by the BF. In the past, before Christianity, the MF would have been known by another name, but we no longer know what that is. Perhaps it was simply Mother.

I was reminded of the manifesting energies of this work when I had finished the flame-work and had headed over to the Norman baptism font. I took a couple of photos and then something on the floor caught my eye.

Can you see them?

A pair of glasses. Laughing at myself for forgetting the principles of manifesting, I picked them up and put them on. I didn’t believe for one minute that they would be perfect. But they were, and I could write down all I had done so I wouldn’t forget it. It is easy not to remember important details later. They fade away like the mist.

I left them on the font before I left. Someone else might have forgotten theirs, or the owner might come back to claim them.

Thank you, St Mary’s, for the timely lesson around the manifesting energies of the Brigit Flame – and the perfect vision.

The Magdalene Flame. Part Four. Barton Stacey Church.

Barton Stacey Church.

The following morning, I made sure I had time to go to Barton Stacey church before visiting my father. He has lived in the village for over twenty years, as did my sister until she died. She is buried in the graveyard of the church close to a lovely old yew which has snowdrops blooming beneath it. It is a very peaceful place.

To get into the church, I had to get the key from the shop. However, getting into the church created challenges that felt like a spiritual message, or quest. Sometimes, doing this kind of work necessitates opening your awareness not only to the energies of place but also to other communications. Everything means something, and usually, when receiving this information, usually through actions you might be taking, a ‘recognising’ happens that tells you what you are doing is a message you need to take onboard.

My message that morning came in the form of keys. Having retrieved the key to the church from the shop, I made my way back to the main door. I was surprised that there was only one key as there were two keyholes, one old keyhole for an old iron key, and a yale lock. But the key in my hand was a chubb, yet I couldn’t see where it fit. I thought perhaps it opened a door around the side and so walked around the church to find it. There were two doors, but the key fit neither. Yet the key was definitely for the church, so it must fit somewhere. I walked back to the main door again and looked harder. Then, above the yale lock, higher in the door, I noticed a brass disc and realised that there was a third keyhole behind it which, lo and behold, my key fit!

I was aware of the message here: three doors, three keys but the key fit only one keyhole. The higher one. OK. Message logged, and door unlocked, I continued into the church.

All Saints, Barton Stacey.

Although All Saints is an old building, having been recorded in the Domesday book, it is not the original church. The original Saxon building was in a lower field behind the current site. My brother-in-law told me that they’d excavated the original site and come to the conclusion that it had been moved because the lower field flooded in winter; being too close to the River Test. The current building is on the higher drier, ground which proved to be far more successful.

However, history notwithstanding, there was an energy in the building which was quite ‘’regal’. My usual process is to make my way to the Altar. This is where, anciently, the feminine energies of water beneath the ground, or of earth vortices, are to be found. But, in this church, I heard someone telling me to ‘Approach’, in a rather regal tone, as though there was already someone waiting for me and who was worthy of my respect. It felt like other times when I visited ancient sites and was greeted by the Guardian-protector. It also felt strangely, more like a temple than a church.

At the altar, I stopped and noticed the stained glass window to my right. It depicted Mary Magdalene being told by an angel at Jesus’ tomb that he was no longer there; that he had ascended. Interesting, I thought. And a nice synchronicity.

Tuning into the energies, I saw a Pelican. Then I heard ‘An impediment stands in your way’. The pelican is an older Christian symbol of a pelican making its chest bleed so it can feed its young with the blood. Self-sacrifice. I thought that it might be a personal message and took it onboard. But, was the impediment a personal message or might it refer to something else? As it turns out, it did.

Continuing with my intention, I placed the Magdalene Flame on the altar and expanded it with my breath. When it had grown, a woman with the Magdalene energy appeared behind the altar. In each hand, she held a flame. Her left hand held the Magdalene flame and in her right hand sat the Brigit Flame. She transferred the flames to my hands so I could take them somewhere else, but I didn’t know where, yet.

Next, she handed me a gold chalice filled with communion wafers and a goblet of wine, as though she was a priest. Then she said, ‘THIS is my church. Go amongst my people. Share my love with all. Give freely.’

I did not know what she meant. Did she mean I was to do that, and if so, how? And what did she mean by THIS is my church? Did she mean this physical building or the beliefs around her as a Divine Feminine energy? It felt esoteric, rather than purely physical. Her church felt energetic, like a thoughtform of her. I didn’t really understand. But I did understand that the communion wafers were the bread of the Mother and that when energised, fed the people spiritually. The wine, when consecrated, represented the energy of the Father and did likewise. These wafers were her energy.

Sometimes, when the energy of the Mother is to be shared, I am given it in the form of communion wafers, but this didn’t seem to fit that message. It felt too ritual-y. More like for a mass or a church service. But, needing to trust what was given, I held the energies anyway as I knew it would make more sense further down the line.

Which of course it did.

It has been quite a challenge, balancing the physical obligations of life with the energetic work of connecting these churches. I have to be able to dance between the two states; to move between them even though I feel very earthbound. Looking after my father means I have to stay physically focused, which means I don’t ‘feel’ the high energies like I usually do. And yet, they come anyway and I can be in the physical world without losing my connection to the other dimensional worlds. This is reassuring because sometimes when the energies are not very strong, they can be harder to read. At those times it is easy for me to think I am imagining it, wanting to see what isn’t really there. When that happens, I just watch, as I learned to do in the years of meditation and healing training I did. Being so grounded in the physical world makes it harder, as my vibration feels very ‘normal’, but remaining present to what intuitively, and psychically, appears is the key. One of them, at least.

Because this energetic feminine presence had given me these things, I knew they had to go somewhere, but it took a couple more weeks to find out where and the message about the impediment also became clear.

Before that one, I called into another church, after an impulsive detour the following day: St. Mary’s Church, in the village of Crawley. That work reminded me of the lesson about trusting my ability to manifest what I need.

But, I’ll share that with you next time.

The Brigit and Magdalene Flame. Part Three. St Catherine’s Church, Littleton.

Driving through Sparsholt again, I noticed, as I came out of Crab wood, over 1.19 km away from St Stephens’ church, that the Magdalene Flame I had anchored only a few days ago, had energetically expanded. It now covered an area of over two kilometres in diameter. I was surprised at how fast this had happened but as I drove closer to the church I felt my Hara centre (behind my navel) activate. I was making a connection to the flame via an energetic cord which stayed with me as I drove past, elongating like an elastic band.

Extent of Magdalene Flame

As I passed the church, this sensation became stronger but now I knew that I was taking that connection with me to put someplace else, but as yet did not know where. I continued on to Barton Stacey intending to take the small side road that would take me closer to the road I needed but instead, I was told to “take the long way”. I did what they said and continued on towards Lainston House crossroads and again, I was told to “go straight ahead”. This was the old road to Littleton village and as I came closer to the village I knew why they had sent me that way.

St. Catherine’s Church is another one of those churches built on a mound. Originally a Saxon church, and perhaps before that another sacred site, the church was built in an area of ancient sacred significance. It lies only five hundred meters away, to the north of the Flowerdown burial mounds: three Bronze Age burials which were also the site of ancient, important ceremonies.

Flowerdown Barrows

Still feeling the connection in my stomach, I made my way into the church and headed towards the altar. This church had a lovely village-y feel and once again, I had the awareness that it was well-loved.

As I walked towards the raised platform, I heard my guides say, ‘put your hand on the Altar’. My immediate reaction was: ‘I can’t do that! What if someone comes in and sees me?’ Old fears die hard, I realised. I was still seeing the altar as the domain of the priest, a figure of authority from my Catholic childhood; a male authority. When I resisted, again I heard ‘Put your hand on the altar.’ There was no way around it. I glanced around, just to make sure there was no one else there, and placed my right hand on the white cloth of the altar.

As soon as my palm touched it, I heard ‘my Higher Self say ‘I consecrate this church to Mary Magdalene, disciple of the most holy Jesus Christ; Mother of all and purveyor of all good things.’ A bit religious, I thought, but later realised that she was the feminine to his masculine. They are archetypal energies, after all. I don’t work with religions but symbols and archetypes are contained in them too. I see these personalities as energy thought-forms rather than physical beings, even if they once did have a physical life on earth, even if not the life we are told about.

Next, the Magdalene Flame appeared and it became the magenta channel. This channel, which looks like a hollow tube, sits behind the altar where the person who leads the service stands. It goes from the floor to above somewhere and always reminds me of the transporter in Star Trek.

I can only assume that the person standing in the beam, leading the service, will be influenced by the Divine Feminine energies anchored there. A previous visit to the Catholic cathedral in Arundel showed me how regular ritual service builds up a channel of energy which also allows energetic information to be accessed. All sacred ritual builds power and if the same intention is held every time, unchanged, like the blessing of the bread and wine, etc, then that energy will be perceived and read by others.

Once the channel had been established, a sword appeared inside it, its point towards the earth. (The sword means many things. In earth working it is often the tool that opens or closes energy vortices. It is also a mental, masculine energy, bringing with it higher thoughts, the balancer of emotional energies). Around the top of the tube, a white feathered serpent, like the white dragon energy, began to twine down around the outside of the channel, moving towards earth. But as it got closer to the altar it changed to blue and wound itself around the magenta channel. A spear then appeared inside the channel and it held the serpent like a worm on a fish hook, anchoring it to earth. This was definitely not what I was expecting. The serpent looked like it was writhing, much as eels do when hooked and brought onto the riverbank and trying to escape captivity and certain death. The spear is one of the tools of the Tuatha de Danaan and this is a use for it that I have never seen before, although it is an energy which connects other energies so it shouldn’t have come as such a surprise that it was anchoring a serpent.

The spiritual energy of the white serpent had transformed into an earthier blue, and the resistance to that transition was apparent. Yet, I knew that this process was necessary. Sometimes it is a challenge to materialise spiritual beliefs and there is often resistance to that process. It is so much easier to keep spiritual ideas and desires in the ether, rather than actually act on them. It is as if these particular beliefs will have to be pinned down, the blue force pinned into place, like water through a funnel.

Another aspect of the ‘white’ becoming ‘blue’ is that the blue serpents represent water energies; the serpents that run through rivers, estuaries and between sites of sacred significance. I am thinking here of two of which I know: Winchester and Salisbury cathedral.

The white serpent is a spiritualised energy, usually existing on higher levels of the earth’s energy-field, like the earth serpent’s higher-consciousness. The white holds the ‘plan’ or the template for healing, which the blue serpents materialise.

There are two possibilities for this serpent achoring here:

One: the serpent represents a person who carries this serpent energy and can work with the water energies, but who will initially experience resistance and struggle to bringing in new ideas. In older times, ‘Druid’ priests were known as adders, perhaps because they were able to work with the fertility energies of water. I have known female rectors who have held both Christian and pagan beliefs and they struggled to reconcile those two apparently opposing systems.

Or Two: it represents the energies which bring water fertility, such as rain and rivers and that this is the way these serpent lines have always been anchored. Think St. George and the dragon.

A flash of a Bull’s head appeared, which turned out to be a message that I would understand later.

Later research on the history of this church yielded some interesting information. The original dedication of this church was to Mary Magdalene. It was changed, over a hundred years ago, after renovation, to St Catherine of Alexandria. So, it would seem that today’s dedication was really a rededication to the original energy.

Mary Magdalene

I also discovered that this church was one of nine in the Manor of Chilcomb and it was ordered, by Bishop Henry de Blois, to pay revenue to the priory of St Swithin and the Hospitallers of Jerusalem. The revenue went towards entertaining guests, and feeding the pilgrims to St Swithin’s shrine.

Again, there is that Jerusalem link but now it places it in Templar history too. Mary Magdalene was also a venerated saint in the medieval period and there was a leper hospital dedicated to her on the Alresford side of Winchester. Bishop Henry was apparently also the man who created the stories of Merlin and dragons, and the stories of the Grail, and thanks to him the stories of the Grail entered popular consciousness. In all our earthwork in the UK, and in Paris, his energy has always played an important role and he is usually a reliable sign post.

Once I felt the work was finished, I left the church, stopping to record a robin ‘chatting’ with another robin in a distant tree. They were definitely having a conversation! I couldn’t see the other bird; it was in a tree someplace else, but it was a lovely reminder of frequency, in this case ‘sound’ travelling between two points.

As I drove out of Littleton, I had a clear image of the church in Barton Stacey; the next dot to be joined. But that would have to wait until I had more time.

I didn’t have long to wait…

The Magdalene Flame. Spring 2023. Part Two. St Stephen’s Church, Sparsholt.

I have driven through the village of Sparsholt many times on the way to my father’s house in Barton Stacey, but never thought to stop there. Mainly because I am under time constraints. But I began to enjoy driving the little roads that connected old villages. It gives me some valuable alone-time and also I can feel the movement of the people of the past as they walked these roads, or travelled on horseback or carts or later in motorcars. I can imagine them visiting relatives in the other villages and going to church on Sunday, going to the market to sell their wares or to buy what they cannot get at home, or even for a change of scenery if they have the time to spare. My father thinks I am mad. He believes in getting someplace as quickly as possible and does not understand why I would want to take a longer route. I tried to explain but don’t think he was convinced.

The little roads between villages, created by the inhabitants of small hamlets, which were often part of old manors or estates, are like veins; a network joining the villages together; an entire template in time. This template is important when working on energetic layers. It is like a layer in photoshop, a layer that can be blended with other layers but which you can work with on an individual level. The layer I was working on was the connection between village churches. Still, when I started this, last week in St. Edward the Confessor’s Catholic church in Chandler’s Ford, I didn’t know that the journeys I had been making through Winchester’s outlying villages over the past few weeks would prove to be so important.

St Stephen’s

St. Stephen’s church is a small village church perched high above the village that surrounds it. It started life as a possible ‘pagan’ site on which the Saxons built their own place of worship; a common practice at the time. Whether by design, or intuition, energy attracts. In the distant past new cultures came into England and they brought their religious beliefs with them. Their beliefs might have been very similar to the beliefs of the people who already lived there and the new people would have settled, married into already established families and communities, and little by little religious culture would have changed. Special sites, which may no longer have been used, would have been the obvious energetic site to build a religious building on. Whether it was a known site or not it would still act as a magnet, drawing people to it. Religions might change, but those changes do not happen overnight. It takes time for them to shift and there has to have been an opening for them in the first place, a vacuum that needed to be filled; a Soul-need for change. St Stephen’s Church might originally have been one of these sites.

Old Yew Tree

I walked through the little graveyard and into the church, which is obviously loved and well-taken care of. However, inside, the flint building was very cold, and I wondered how the original church-goers warmed it. It had been a Catholic church once upon a time before Henry VIII created the Church of England, so perhaps sitting on cold hard seats in a freezing church in winter was a form of penance or self-sacrifice. But maybe they didn’t feel the cold quite like we do. But, on the plus side, it was filled with flowers and smelled divine.

Ornate Altar

I walked up to the altar and stood in front of it, tuning in. Immediately the Magenta Flame appeared, part of the flame I had been given in St Edward’s. But I also saw the Jewish Menorah with all its candles lit. It appeared as though it was sitting on the altar. At first, I dismissed it. After all, why should a Jewish ritual object be present energetically in this little village church in the middle of the English countryside? But I discovered, when I googled it, that St. Stephen was born in Jerusalem and was the first Christian martyr stoned to death by Jewish elders for blasphemy. Again, the Jerusalem link; the same as last week in St. Edward the Confessor’s church. The symbols associated with Stephen are the censor; three stones; a Martyr’s Palm frond and a crown. These symbols were to be important later on, especially when I worked in St Mary’s Church in the village of Crawley. It was as if the energies of one place connected with, and were anchored in, the other churches; themselves acting as connectors of archetypal energies.

St Stephen

The next part of the anchoring was to blow energy towards the Flame of the Magdalene which is a striking magenta in colour. This blowing expands the energy or directs it. When you blow out it is done with an energetic intention; an intention that the part of you doing the work understands the purpose of. When you are doing this kind of work, you, as a personality, have little control over the process. Your Soul-self is the active Self.

As a result of blowing breath towards the flame, it grew and expanded, reaching the wooden-beamed ceiling. I heard the words “In Perpetuam”, which means ‘For all of Eternity’. This reminded me of the Perpetual flame of St. Brigit in Kildare, Ireland, a flame dedicated to the pagan saint and kept burning by a group of nuns dedicated to St. Brigit and kept alight for the past thirty years. The flame they tend is to send out the solar light of Brigit, the light of Justice, Hope and Peace.

The Brigit Flame

So what did the anchoring of the Magdalene flame mean here? Mary Magdalene was one of Jesus’s disciples, and her flame-energy, originally channelled by a lovely Canadian man named Jhadten Jewell who played a really important part in my own energetic development, is the flame that helps balance, and heal, the wounded male. Her flame assists in the anchoring of the New Adamic energies, the New Male consciousness.

This is what he says: I have come to understand the power of the Goddess in Her great Return, in healing the wounded male energies of the planet that have resulted from the imbalance (i.e. predominance of the male energies that we can still see working today) of male and female energies. This is the return to balance, wholeness and unity. In my work, I have explored so many avenues of this and know that to be centered in the Goddess Light is the beginning of all creation. No matter how masculine a Soul may be, it is still and always one half feminine, in order for the alchemy of creation to unfold through all of us. We know that we have one half of our father’s DNA and half of our mother’s and yet the illusion of the physical gender, as important as it may be, lets us forget, again and again, the need for balance in these energies.

So why was the flame being anchored in these village churches? I know the answer might never come, but my Higher Self knows exactly why it is placed here and how it will affect the people who came here and who live in the area. All I can do is watch and facilitate.

The Magdalene Flame

Much of this work is carried out this way. I am under instruction, working in a dimension of consciousness which my personality self does not understand. Although I do get to watch, and enjoy, the higher Archetypal energies that exist in those higher dimensions, my Higher Self, or KA as they call it in ancient Egypt, is the one doing the real work. My body is simply the vehicle and the taxi service, driving from place to place and being a channel, or medium, for these energies to come through.

My next stop is in the church of St Catherine in Littleton. Another surprise visit and not so very far away.

(This post was written on a mobile keyboard. It makes it possible to write on the go with my phone. It is a genius contraption suggested by Chris Bishop, who I usually work with. Thanks Chris. A brilliant idea!)

The Brigit and Magdalene Flame. Spring 2023. Part One. RC Church of St Edward the Confessor.

31st January 2023

I’ve been working with small churches for the past two weeks, connecting them with the Spring Brigit flame and the Magdalene flame energy.

Catholic Church of St Edward the Confessor.

The first work was in the Church of St. Edward the Confessor, a small Catholic place near what used to be Otterbourne Manor (the place still exists but is diminished in size). I had been driving one of my daughters to work in Chandler’s Ford for a couple of weeks and had passed the church on my way there. On my first drive, I noticed a Brigit flame in the building and wondered about it, but did nothing. I thought it meant there was already one there. Later, driving to my father’s, via Sparsholt, I passed the little church of St Stephen and saw a magenta flame there. Again, I thought it meant there was already one there, so I ignored it, wondering instead who might have planted it.

On the way back from another Chandler’s Ford journey, a full bladder forced me to stop in the church of St. Edward the Confessor to wait until the traffic subsided and to find a toilet. Inside, the church is quite modern, having been built in the early twentieth century. As I approached the table altar, behind which is a striking stained-glass window, I saw, with my inner eye, hands place a large, wide shallow bowl on the altar. It reminded me of the fire bowls they use outside in Egypt, to keep warm in winter. In the bowl was a small orange flame and I had the impulse to blow energy which ignited it so that it rose to the ceiling.

Stained Glass Window.

I next saw the Was-sceptre symbol anchor the flame into the lava layer below the earth’s crust. The upper part of the symbol went into the sky and there was a date palm behind the altar to which it connected. In the ancient Middle East, the Date palm was seen as the tree of the Goddess, the dates her fruit, the only food in an otherwise arid desert. I have worked with palm trees while living in Egypt and anchored many energetic palm trees, especially where people live at subsistence level. The feeling then was that the people would always be fed from the fruits of the Goddess. They would not starve but would have what they needed. (The palm tree, in ancient Assyrian religion represented the connection between heaven and earth and was sacred to the Goddess Ishtar. The Goddess, in her many guises, is often depicted as residing in a tree, giving her ‘fruits’ freely).

The Palm means Life. Pure and simple. Especially in dry times.

While I was in Luxor, I read a theory that the Was-sceptre represented a giraffe. The bottom of the symbol represents the cloven hoofs of the giraffe, which are quite dainty, while the hook at the top, represents the head. The ‘foot’ of the sceptre touched the earth, while the ‘head’ could reach up to the heights and get the fruits from the tall palms. It was a medium between the food of the Goddess and earth. The symbol, in mythology, is associated with the god Set, who is the god of the hot, dry desert, an arid place where there are few resources. It is a staff of power, wielded by the priests. It symbolises the power to bring the Food of Heaven to earth and only those who could act as mediums between divinity and humanity could use it.

Other theories abound around the meaning of the symbol, of course, but in the course of my work, the Was-sceptre is always used to anchor flames deep beneath the earth’s mantle, and to anchor the flame to a higher level of the earth’s energy field. The sceptre itself is a strong ‘holding’, a rod of power, a connector. It keeps the energies stable, and in place, because the flame is an active energy.

So why was an Irish Goddess flame of Brigit being anchored by the use of Egyptian symbols in a small Catholic church in Chandler’s Ford? As I tuned in, I tried to sense what it might mean. What came back was something about the origins of Christianity being from the Middle East. Jesus was born there, after all. There was something about reconnecting the energies of this church to its origins, reconnecting it to its roots in Jerusalem. There was something about the original, unsullied beliefs around the goddess being brought back to common consciousness. That the Divine Feminine was once an equal partner to the Divine Masculine, each one valued for its gifts.

This was a small community church, albeit well used, and the hub of the Catholic community, yet it was the start of a series of connections between other, smaller, churches, all of Saxon origin and mainly Church of England. I was raised a Catholic, and attended a convent until I was ten years old, going to mass every Sunday, which I hated. But out of choice, I also went to the evening devotions. This I loved. There was a sense of ancientness here, between the incense filling the church and the hymns reminding me of ‘Faith of our fathers’, my favourite hymn. All those dungeons, fires and swords! back then, I felt very connected to an energy that seemed far removed from the God we were being taught about in school and at Sunday mass.

When we relocated from the country to Dublin, I was educated in a private, protestant school and lost that religious connection but I loved the school, nonetheless. It was child-centred, as opposed to God-centred. Now, between the two educations, I had a fairly good idea of the difference between them and how it made me feel.

Years later, living in the UK and at an Initiation workshop in Glastonbury, myself and another attendee decided that, rather than go to the Goddess rituals that everyone else was attending, we would go to the local Catholic church where they were having a healing service. This was a new experience for me and a reminder of an older one. As I watched the Catholic ritual of communion and wine, in my eyes, the priests were enacting an ancient Egyptian ritual. The roots of these rituals came from the temples of Egypt. The woman who had come with me had seen the same thing, which was amazing to me. Even more interesting was that I could see the effect that the ritual was having on the wine, but also saw that it had no effect on the bread. And yet, at that time, only the priest drank the wine. Now, of course, it is different and everyone gets both. However, the bread is still nothing but bread, but the wine is charged with energy.

But that experiment taught me that the Catholic ritual was a very ancient, energetic process, with a deeper connection to a ‘Mother’. Yet it was the Spring Flame of Brigit being anchored here, in Chandler’s Ford, Brigit herself being a Goddess who became a Catholic saint. She wasn’t destroyed by the religion but rather incorporated into it. She is also a goddess of light and fertility, the returning sun after a dark winter.

I thought I was finished here, so went to look for a loo. When I came back, I was ‘instructed’ to do more so I stood in front of the altar again. This time, a magenta channel of the Magdalene descended with a small magenta flame inside. It reached to the floor and high into the sky, a veritable pillar of fire. Again, I felt the impulse to blow and when I did the magenta flame expanded until it filled the channel. I was given a portion of this flame to transport somewhere else. I already guessed that it was for St Stephen’s church in Sparsholt.

On my way out, I found the holy water font and blessed myself with it. On impulse, before I left my house that morning, I had applied holy water I had gotten from Arundel cathedral last year. This is another ritual that we have forgotten the original purpose of: the application of holy water in an equal-armed cross as you enter a sacred space. This entering ritual was to open the energy-field for the ensuing ceremony. The energies generated by the Mass fed you, energetically. After the ritual Mass, on leaving the building, you then applied holy water again, this time to seal the energy-field so that all the energies you absorbed would be retained, much like sealing the energy-field with the raku symbol after passing a Reiki attunement. Originally, the Mass was an attunement, but not in the way we pass attunements today. In the original Usui Reiki system, Mikao Usui ‘attuned’ his students every time they met. He shared the energy with them by sharing his own Reiki-field. They sat in that energy for the duration of the meeting, their fields open and receptive. In the original Catholic Mass, this was the way it was done too. The energy of the ritual was shared and absorbed. It was a ‘communion’, a sharing; an attunement. However, after the Synod of Whitby, that all began to change, Celtic Christianity, with all its blend of Christian and Celtic beliefs, was replaced by Roman rites and rituals… and control.

Having written this, but not yet posted it, I was with my father when the local village magazine came. Inside was a list of ceremonies for Lent, one being an ‘Ashing Communion’. This is where they put ash on your forehead, again in an equal-armed cross. (That cross signifies equilibrium). I wondered what the ash meant. The palm used in Palm Sunday is burnt and applied to the forehead. In Roman times, penitents wore ashes and sackcloth to repent for their sins. Now, everyone is a sinner, by all accounts. BUT it was the palm, and again, we come back to the pagan origins of Christianity, which feel far more real to me. The palm, sacred to the Goddess, is still being used in Christian religions, which has to be a good thing.

I’ve put the link at the bottom of this page so if you want to visit the church and partake of the energies there, feel free.

In the beginning…

I have worked, energetically, with stone circles for twenty years, but it was on a trip to the remains of a stone circle in Cumbria, deep in a forest plantation, that I was granted a wonderful insight into one way which our Bronze age ancestors used the circles.

From that experience, I understood that some circles were associated with maintaining fertility. They were used ritually at certain points of the year, (solstices, equinoxes, etc) and at that time priests, priestesses, and the entire community channelled the energy of the solar light into the circle to fertilise the wheat they had harvested the previous season, fertilising the waiting earth beneath; the masculine creative force of the sun, fertilising the female earth.

At the end of the Mesolithic period, ancient communities moved from hunting and gathering to growing and tending. Their focus was on the growing of food, therefore taking care of both the physical landscape and the energetic landscape meant they had a better chance of survival. Their awareness of the Oneness of life was a part of them. They did not simply live on the planet, separate to it as we do, but they understood they were an integral part of it.

But how did the Early Neolithic farmers begin to use stone to contain and hold the energies they built in the landscape? How did they learn that particular form of energy-work in the first place? I have found no evidence of fertility work of this nature in the earlier Mesolithic hunter-gatherers. It seemed to arrive with people who grew their food on a large scale and who needed specific energetic help to accomplish that.

Before agriculture, hunters worked shamanically to connect to the spirit of the animal they were about to hunt, communicating with it before the hunt and asking for, and acknowledging, the creature’s sacrifice to feed them. But, with the advent of agriculture, some of these practices changed. To the ancestor, everything was energy. Every living thing, including apparently inert objects, such as stone, soil, etc, had a spirit and therefore deserved respect and acknowledgement. (You only have to look at the current indigenous people of the world to see how our ancestors might have lived).

It has always been a mystery to me how practices changed, from hunting and gathering, to include the growing of crops. Once you begin to grow food, the process and focus changes. But when did they begin to associate stone circles with corn-energising rituals?

It was only while reading Home by Francis Pryor, that I found a possible answer. Francis had been working on a Neolithic causewayed enclosure site in Etton along with his wife. The enclosure was part of a complex of enclosures, like Salisbury Plain, and comprised a single circuit of interrupted ditches. They discovered, at the end of each ditch segment, objects which had been carefully placed there. The deposits in the segmented ditches were laid in layers, each protected by a birchbark mat, which would have been naturally waterproof. Intact pottery vessels, turned upside-down, skulls, and broken quern stones, for the grinding of grain into flour, were also placed in layers in the ditches.

Upright Saddle Quern Deposit.

According to Prior, the objects placed within the ditches were crafts traditionally carried out by women: pottery, weaving, bread-making, etc. That makes me wonder why they deposited these particular objects in the ditches? Was the site traditionally viewed as female? Just as with the Cumbrian circle? The female energy was believed to reside in the earth, so it makes sense that if they wanted to ensure the positive flow of energy into their own home and tribe they would make offerings of gratitude for the resources already received and the petition for that flow to continue for the coming year.

Quern stones at each side of causeway.

Within the henge, there were also multiple pits filled with ritual deposits, but the most striking thing for me was that in the ditches on either side of the causeways, quern stones had been placed on their sides, so that they stood upright. Stones were placed on either side of the causeway, of which there were possibly four, oriented North, South, East and West, although the South entrance was subsequently destroyed. The deposits seem to have been placed, on separate occasions, but in the same place each time, in layers, perhaps during large gatherings, and by kin groups. Each time they gathered, they carried out ceremonies and a new stone was placed there; again on its side so that it stood upright, but above the buried layer of the previous celebrations.

Grain was an important part of their survival and the excavators of Etton discovered evidence that “cereal crops were both grown and processed within the immediate vicinity, perhaps within the enclosure.”

Datchet causeway. Example of how ditches were spaced.

When I read this for the first time, it immediately reminded me of my visit to Cumbria. and the importance of the stone circle in charging the wheat for the following growing season. The deposition of saddle querns, upright in the ditches, signalled for me the mental leap made by the Neolithic communities from ritual deposits of stones for wheat-grinding to standing stones. Wheat was such an important part of their survival that it stood to reason that the objects associated with grain processing should be held in such sacred esteem. I imagine, through the deposition of these stones, each family was both manifesting their food for the coming year but also giving something back to the Mother, in gratitude for feeding them; for taking care of them. And, as the quote above suggests, if the site was used for the processing of wheat, then corn rituals might well have been carried out in the centre too, creating what later became, the stone circles.

Knowth Basin.

In Knowth, there is the huge concave stone in one of the recesses within the burial mound. Burial mounds represent the womb of the Mother. Knowth is part of the Newgrange complex, where the sun enters the chamber at Midwinter, to light up the darkness within. Again the solar rays fertilising the Mother. The large concave stone is like a huge ceremonial saddle quern and may well symbolise the fertilising of the grain. A gift to the mother and holder of the ashes of people who may have been the ones who carried out the sacred ceremonies.

The carving inside the stone is interesting too: To me, it looks like an energetic representation of the solar rays fertilising the seed within the womb of Mother Earth.

Knowth Inner carving.

Of course, it may have had multiple meanings. As modern humans, we see symbols as representing things we only have understanding of ‘in the present’. We see things one-dimensionally. Our ancestors may have had access to knowledge we can only imagine, or re-learn, as we work in the energetic landscapes of the Mother.

The positioning of the saddle querns in the site in Etton also made me think of Mecca, where before Islam, tribal communities gathered there yearly. Each tribe had its own stone statue representing the energy of their tribe, their over-ruling deity, part of a circle of stones around the sacred site. Only with the coming of Islam was this practice destroyed and now only the ruling family have their ‘stone’, contained in the Kaaba. (Mecca had been a sacred site for many centuries, sacred to a triple goddess. One of these goddesses, Al-Uzzah, was a grain goddess).

Old Mecca.

As I was writing this, I found this very interesting article: https://www.hunebednieuwscafe.nl/2017/10/british-stone-circles-were-used-for-parties/ The article states: The research into the Ring of Brodgar also showed that each stone comes from a different part of the Orkney Islands. Apparently, each of the diverse groups of people brought its own stone and placed it in the monument. Remarkably, Professor Bayliss’ research also found evidence that people travelled to the Orkneys from as far away as Belgium. This fits very well with the idea of family groups/tribes having their quernstone in the circle.

Many ancient Mother/Goddess sites were symbolic womb; places where, at certain times of the year, the energies of fertility were strongest. The midwinter ritual of the sun piercing the darkest recesses of burial mounds, and temples, were fertility processes: the male sun sending his fertilising principle into the dark womb of the Mother to activate the egg waiting there. These were no empty rituals, however. Our ancestors understood the active energies that revitalised the energy lines in the earth, that brought new vitality after the dark of winter, warming the earth; bringing new growth. Where energy flows, so too does life.

There are naturally powerful places on earth where the energy is palpable, such as volcanos, places where crystals have formed, and deep underground caves. Places too where elemental energies are strong: rivers, lakes, mountains, and forests. But energy is also built through ritual and intention. I have never been a ‘ritual’ worker. I never really understood the purpose of ritual except as a focus for creating and for intention. But, I recently had an experience in a Cathedral Church in Arundel where I saw the result of ritual actions on the energy of a place over time.

We were working on making a triangular connection between the sea and the river Arun. I wasn’t sure where this connection was supposed to be anchored but we went into the cathedral, just in case. I had been given water energy by a wonderfully loving sea elemental on Littlehampton beach and although I knew I had to put it somewhere; I didn’t know where, until it happened. As I approached the altar, which was built on top of an ancient spring, I saw the blue column of light behind it, which had been built up over the years by the priests doing the bread and wine ritual. This was a surprise to me. The energy had built up over so many years and had created a healing channel in the cathedral. This is also where the water energy gift was anchored, which was also a huge surprise. (One of the important things to remember when doing energywork is that religious belief plays no part. It is the positive intentions to help humanity which are important. Although saying that, the ancientness of the catholic ritual contains an energy that I have not found in other, more modern religious rituals).

But this ritual also involves the energising of bread, just as the ancient ritual in the stone circle Cumbria showed. (I think the energising of the wine might have been Roman in origin and added later as patriarchal religions became more prominent. The wine is energised from ‘above’ whereas the bread should be energised by the mother-energy ‘below’).

So that brings us back to the quernstones. We know that causewayed enclosures were the forerunners of stone circles so if the quernstones were placed as sacred objects and connected to a particular kin-group, (as in old Mecca, and Orkney), then it is not such a stretch to see that the later ‘standing stones’/quernstones in a circle came to represent each kin-family’s offerings to the Mother Goddess. The rituals building up over time gave these places their sanctity but there may well have been an extant ‘energy’ that told them where to build these sites in the first place.

The alignments of the main causeways appear to be directional, and the east/west entrances align with the sun. (We have often found main energylines crossing over in these sites, although not necessarily NSEW aligned). The astrological alignment aspects of stone circles might have come into play as a way for them to be sure about the timing of important events. I’m sure the simple beginning of the ritual circles became more complicated over time.

A very good book which explains how Glastonbury abbey was created is: The Gate of Remembrance by Frederick Bligh Bond, F.R.I.B.A. It is a book about the discovery of The Edgar Chapel through automatic writing and gives very interesting energetic information on how a sacred site is created.

The Bread of The Mother.

Yesterday morning, Sunday, (I wrote this a few years ago) I was listening to the Radio 4 church service (not something I often listen to, but it was an impulse I followed). The teaching was ‘The loaves and the Fishes’. You know, the one where Jesus miraculously fed the 5.000 people with only 5 loaves and 2 fishes after the death of his friend and teacher John the Baptist? Finishing up a beading project, the fact struck me that people never question this story. They relate it as though it is an absolute truth. But to me, they are missing an important point. Jesus was a spiritual teacher, teaching people something important. There was a deeper meaning to this story.

People, such as Dr Marcellino D’Ambrosio,  have looked into certain Judaic meanings behind the symbolism, such as the five loaves representing the Mosaic teachings in the Torah. There are 5 books in the Torah.  So perhaps, on one level, Jesus was expanding on the teachings and inner story of Moses, who was also a prophet, and a teacher.

But he was also quoted as saying that he was the ‘Bread of Life’. To my mind, this was a misinterpretation. He was also known as the ‘Water of Life’ which felt more appropriate. Could he be both bread and water? All spiritual nourishment? To many he was/is, but I have experienced a completely different awareness of what the bread represents. Over the past twenty years of doing energy healing, at many sacred sites around the world, I have found that the Bread represents the Bread of the Mother, of the earth.

My first experience of this came in 2006, in Cumbria, at a stone circle complex in the Broomrigg Plantation. One of my psychic gifts is the ability to tap into ancient knowledge and experience it in the present. It is psychometry; I suppose. Tapping into objects or places and opening doorways into past lives.

Broomrigg Stone Circle

On this occasion, standing on an ancient stone which had once formed part of a stone circle, I went back to the Bronze Age and found myself watching an ancient winter solstice ritual. Within the circle, a priest stood, and around the inside of the circle also stood containers of wheat which had been harvested the previous autumn. A priestess, who personified Artemis (I was a little surprised at that) drew down the energy of the sun and brought it into the earth, which opened like a womb to accept the solar energy. This fertilised a giant ovum and filled the womb with golden light. The priest had strewn wheat grains around the inside of the circle petitioning the Goddess Artemis, within whose hands he had placed a sheaf of corn. As this happened, the wheat in the containers was also ‘charged’, which effectively imbued the seeds with life, so that when they planted them again in the spring the resulting crop would be abundant. At the end of the ritual, the priest sprinkled water around the inside of the circle, because, without rain, the wheat could not grow.

Once the ‘ritual’ was complete, some of the grain was taken from the containers, ground into flour and made into bread. Each household in the tribe was given a portion of this ‘charged’ bread in order to bring fertility to the entire tribe over the coming year. Everyone was equal and everyone was fed. No-one was left out.

This experience prompted many questions. Over the past few years, some of these questions have found answers. I had, on occasion, to travel back to Ireland for Catholic funerals or memorial services, and noticed during the consecration of the bread and wine, during Mass, that all the energy from ‘Above’ seemed to charge the wine but not the bread. I also thought it was significant that only the priest drank the wine, (things have changed since then!) thereby gaining the benefit of its charged energy. But the communication wafers, the Bread/Body of Christ had no energy and yet this was distributed to the people during the Mass. I found this very interesting Why was the bread not ‘charged’, and why was it only the priest who benefited from the spiritual energy which should have been shared? I wondered if it was to do with power dynamics within the early church? Communion is such an important part of the Catholic Mass ritual and I can remember, as a child, taking communion seriously, believing that I was eating part of Jesus’ body. When it stuck to the roof of my mouth and broke, and I tried to remove it with my tongue, it was a serious disaster. Jesus was real to me and I thought I was breaking him apart.

The word communion signifies a joining, a sharing of energy, but there was no energy in this communion. It was rice paper, nothing more. For years, I had wondered why this was (I only rarely have communion now. If I feel an impulse, I will take it, even though I know it contains nothing). However, this year, I experienced another teaching, through ‘psychic time-travel’, that explained more of the mystery. It was in St. Dogmaels’ Abbey in Wales, near Cardigan Bay and I was doing my usual energy work, as I do in many churches, (both ancient and those still in use), when I felt an impulse to stop at a point which was below ground level. In the past, the altar of the church would have stood above this room and as I stood in the centre of this ‘cellar’ I felt a powerful female earth energy, like a vortex. It was still active, and very strong. When I stood in it, I ‘saw’ a monk standing in front of the altar in the room above me. He was consecrating the wine and the bread, but as he focused on the bread, which was a round loaf, he drew the energy of this vortex into the bread, spiritualising it with the female energy of the Earth, the Mother. Next, he drew down the energy of the sun and consecrated the wine with that energy, the Male fertilising principle! Finally I understood! Somewhere along the line, this connection and honouring of the role of Mother Earth, in sacred ritual, had been lost.

The Abbey itself was built in the 12th Century and is a Trionian Abbey, founded by monks from France who were dissatisfied with the way things were going in the French Monasteries. They wanted to get back to a simpler way of living, and of serving. But they also knew that the balance depended on honouring both Mother and Father.

At one point during this exploration through time, I was also given the understanding of the Holy Trinity: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Father is obvious; he is the male principle, Solar, Christ Light. The Holy Spirit is the Mother, the Female principle: the Earth; and the son, is the priest /medium. The Son of both Mother and Father is the priest; he is the medium between the two; the one who can work with both energies and who is trained to materialise these energies in the bread and wine, thereby bringing succour to the community through their distribution. What is missing here, of course, is the female representative, the priestess. But, at least they still knew what they were doing, even though they were using both energies in a less earth-focused way than our ancestors at Broomrigg had done.

But, what I still did not know, was when this understanding disappeared. Perhaps during the dissolution of the monasteries, when the Divine Feminine, through Mary, was removed from the collective consciousness? Perhaps that understanding will come later.

So, back to the loaves and the fishes. Jesus (or someone) was trying to teach about the balance between the Masculine and the Feminine. The bread of Life comes from the earth, from the Mother. The fish is a male symbol, and one which I also have experienced in the course of my work, and which I know to be a symbol of life in the Ancient Solar priesthoods of Egypt, Greece and Western Europe. The symbol of Christianity is the Fish. The fish swims in water; water is life. The fish is a symbol for the fertility that comes from water, the abundance of a masculine god.

Jesus was teaching the multitudes about Honouring the Mother and Father, just as the commandments told them to. Not just your physical, earthly Mother and father, but all of life through the Earth Mother and Solar Father. I believe the story tells us that nourishment comes from Mother and Father. What comes from the sky is Masculine, sun and rain, which fertilises the earth, the feminine, so that all her people can live. You cannot exist without both. What can you create with sun alone? Without the mixture of earth, what is it? If you honour both, you can feed thousands.

Maybe we need to get back to that. We need to relearn these ways of thinking about the earth, or Gaia, and her relationship with the Father, in order for us to live sustainable and fulfilling lives. It’s really not that hard. We just have to change our core beliefs. It might take years but at least the world of the future will be one worth living in again! And I wonder what would happen if we started to do these rituals in the way they were intended? That would be an interesting experiment.

PS. When I was in the Hare Krsnas, back in the seventies in Dublin, they cooked their food and blessed it before sharing it with people so that everyone could eat the sacred prasadam of the god of love, Krishna. Even one meal was enough to give you Krsna’s mercy. Blessing food is an ancient tradition.

A more modern story is the story of the foundation of Findhorn, one of my favourites.
