The Web of Life.

Recently, healers around the world, and guardians of sacred places, have begun to spin lines of the web, connecting sacred places to each other. We do this by exchanging stones, the stones which contain the energy of the place they belong to. This is another way to create a web of spider energy around the planet. Each person is connected to a particular goddess aspect and anchors that aspect where she lives. She also anchors it in other places by transporting water and stones and anchoring them where she visits. This is done with intention and under guidance as the places that need connecting are part of an over all plan, or structure. This web is the Web of life which is explained below in a channelling I received in 2008.

tumblr_m6ncfjHBHr1r3cx40

The spider weaves the threads of energy that link the holy sites of the Mother. Her legs fasten onto each web she spins, and threads of many hues and colours emerge from her belly. She grows light. She is light. She is the weaver of the Webs of light, the webs which involve the growth and stability of new human thinking. Without her weaving the new thoughtforms could not travel ‘the web’.

Creation happens in an instant but it’s growth happens over time. In order for the web to be successful it needs to be maintained. Threads can be broken or destroyed and the Spider Woman reweaves them, constantly mending and growing new ones. In this way the web is maintained.

New Spider women are being awoken now. The Ancient seamstresses, sewing and weaving earth’s creations, are moving into place. The web must be maintained and strengthened so that the future of humanity can be stabilised and can continue to grow and evolve.

Help the spider women to become aware of who they are and what their task is. Some will work only with particular colours, their colours, some will work with more. They will relearn this skill.

I am the Spider woman, Mother of the World. Red and black are my colours. The earth dragons are me, and mine. My energy flowing through the veins and fissures of the earth.

Welcome to my domain.”

Comment:

The Earth lines are Red/Male and black/female. Red and Black dragon energy.  The red line Dragon energy is like lifeblood, feeding the earth, like blood feeds your body. You will often find the red lines connecting to sacred sites, along with other lines.  They can be quite deep in the earth and sometimes you will have to pick them up and anchor them higher up in the land so that they can feed that level of the earth. I have also found, with some small sites, that the red line can feed smaller satellites sites of bigger Mother Sites, much as a mother feeds her child.

These earth lines are anchored by people, who act as mediums between earth and sky/cosmos. The earth lines you perceive in the landscape were laid by others in times past. The more proficient you become in working with the red and black earth lines, which already exist in the landscape, the more you begin to create new lines in areas which require them. Its not something you think about before hand its just something you do when it is required.

My first experience of the red lines was at a site called Coldridge Woods, just over the Hampshire border, where I had been doing an archaeological survey of a Banjo enclosure (Bronze Age/Iron-age circular earthwork with avenue, like a banjo shape). This settlement site lay in a woods which was medieval but which was originally open land with a few trees. A fellow archaeology student and healer, Kat, and I, noticed that the current ‘avenue’ into the banked enclosure was not its original one as there was a faint remains of a ditched trackway facing in another direction. I tuned into this direction and saw red energy flow down from another source which we then had to walk anti-clockwise around the circular ditch to join again with the incoming flow.

It then moved in the opposite direction, but parallel to the incoming flow. Flowing back to where it originated from. I had only begun to do energywork but this felt like the site’s lifeblood, which fed this enclosure and brought fertility to the land. But where had it come from?

We walked the line as far as we could before it disappeared but I ‘knew’ that it was connected to a Hillfort somewhere. So later on in the day, I got my map (indispensable when doing earthwork) and followed the line straight to Fosbury Hillfort. The archaeology student who had led us to this Banjo enclosure later brought us to Fosbury and it was a beautiful settlement, filled with the energy of the Mother. This ‘Mother’ was ‘feeding’ its ‘child’ settlement at Coldridge. At this point, I didn’t know that it was part of the Spider Woman energies as I was still learning about energywork in the land.

Sites which are fed and nourished by the red energies do not necessarily flow in straight lines, but can be channelled into whatever spaces they need to nourish. Trees often act as anchors for these red lines, the tree roots ‘holding’ the energy line in place and acting as transmitter of the line’s energies.

On-going exploration of this site, both archaeological and energetic, showed us how important this site was to the locality, as it contained two vortexes, Spring and Winter, at the base of the Avenue. The original occupants of the site had lovingly built and maintained these energy sites until incoming invaders had burned their settlement to the ground.

The black lines are the Black Dragon energies and the deepest aspects of the Human unconscious. During a Gaia Method Attunement (GME) attunement with a friend Eartha Dragon, we had a ‘visit’ from a female energy calling herself ‘Mer’. She said that she was the dark, underworld Goddess. She had black orbs for eyes, black hair and pale skin. She said that she lived in the bowels of the earth, in the deepest recesses and represented the dark emotional energy of the collective unconscious. Her realm is where the black energy flows. She is the deepest healing possible, the realm of the Night, and all the dark places.

Recently, my guides popped in to clarify an issue around the difference between lines of light and lines of force. In the previous channelling above they called the spider lines lines of light and yet now they are adding to that. There is a difference between them but the lines lie close together and work together.

Differentiate between lines of force and lines of light. The spider energies are lines of force, the lines of light lie alongside them. When we say lines of force we mean they are like electricity lines, lines which allow a force to move through them. Lines of light are vibrational frequencies akin to sound and colour. These are healing frequencies. Lines of force bring change, a change in the surroundings through which they move. The lines of light bring healing to the consequences of those changes. Things are shifted when the force moves through them, light heals what is released/revealed.

This pertains to upcoming work which will involve healing the energies that remain from the two previous world wars, clearing the energies, and cutting the lines that connect them to the present, and which fuel current dramas/wars being acted out in the Middle East.

More on that soon.

Jhadten Jewell’s October 2013 Workshop, Chichester.

City of Light Abergavenny

City of Light Abergavenny

Just Reading Jhadten Jewell’s upcoming workshop page. I love Jhadten’s work and have done workshops with him a number of times over the years. Now that we are moving further into alignment with ourselves and our connection to Mother Earth, Jhadtens’ workshops are a wonderful way to deepen our relationship with the Earth and the Elementals.

Having worked with these energies for a number of years now I know how important it is to heal and activate these three Centres.

If you can do the workshop, do it. It will be wonderful I know. Not only are they powerful they are also light and lots of fun. Jhadten has a wonderful sense of humour and is the most compassionate and humble man I have ever met.

Embodying New Levels of Soul Energy
Connect with the New Anchor Points for Healing, and
to Embody the Energies of 2013!

The Astounding Possibilities of 2013!

Hologram for Healing the Womb.

Hologram for Healing the Womb.

In 2012, Mother Earth and our solar system moved into alignment directly with the Source of Creation. An event at the end and beginning of an era of civilisation and awareness. Though the Grand Alignment of 2012 was a zenith point, the waves of energy flowing into our realms are new and exciting, presenting possibilities never experienced on Earth before. The galactic waves of energy flowing to us now are allowing us to embody even more of our soul energy. In order for this to happen, we simply align with the current cosmic configuration and heal the layers of the womb/hara area, the heart and the pineal gland. The healing of the womb area entails the healing of our Mother’s womb, the placenta and our own womb (female), or hara space (male). This healing will be much more profound than ever before, for it is our creative centre that can now experience a full activation.

The full activation of our creative powers happens through initiations into the energies of our souls, only now available to us in 2013, and are anchored mainly through the pineal gland (third eye, consciousness, awareness), the heart and the womb/hara areas. The whales, dolphins and the angelic realms will assist us here, for each are guardians of these anchor points. The shift in our consciousness, perceptions and awareness occurs through the embodiment of these new energies. As we embody the new vibrational patterns of light (blueprints of the soul’s purpose at this time) the elemental kingdoms are able to move into these patterns of energy to not only create the new consciousness within us, but also affect the elementals in the world around us, in our daily life, and thus manifest a new reality.

Hologram for healing/activating the Placenta.

Hologram for healing/activating the Placenta.

The soul is now creating through us more fully and directly. It is important to sound into these energies to imprint them on the crystalline structures of reality in and around us, and for the transformation of our interior and exterior reality to occur in lasting and precise ways. Working with the dynamic alchemical elementals of the Whizzard Cards will assist this process greatly. The workshop is devoted to the healing necessary at this time and the initiation into the new realms of soul experience in our present incarnation. Exercises, sounding and movement will be employed to support this purpose.

The workshop will be magical, profound and great fun. I would be delighted to share this experience with you.

Serpent Energies.

When I first began to work with serpent energies, my guides started me off working with serpent energies, then they began teaching me how to work with the dragon energies. But, becasue there seemed to many crossovers between the energies of the serpents and those of the dragons, I asked for clarity. This is what they said: (The italicised words indicated communication from my guides).

“Dragons are the guardians of the underworld, both that of the Earth realm and that of the realm of human consciousness. When you awaken the sleeping dragon, you are initiating a course of action within the mind of humanity, which will change the thinking of everyone on the Earth plane. For this reason, only certain people are ‘qualified’ to work with the dragons, as they have built up, over many incarnations, the ability to work with the human mind. Their thinking is focused and direct and they are capable of deep contemplation, plumbing their own depths and that of humanity. The dragon represents all that is mighty and powerful within the forces of creation. In awakening this dragon you also awaken man’s ability to create heaven on earth. Only in using power with wisdom can true magic be effected.

The serpents, on the other hand, are those energies which allow for certain frequencies to be brought into play. The Earth serpents ‘maintain’ an energetic balance between sun and Earth. They hold the grid in place. Without their energy, there would be no world. They are designed to activate certain areas within the grid that resonate with Divine Power. At these sites, abundance is attained and with it, the lessons of Power. The ability to generate abundance that is free to all depends on the ability to balance power with desire. If one desires much and is given what they desire, yet their power issues are out of balance, that abundance is then used for personal gain and does not benefit the whole.

However, when abundance is achieved by one who balances power with desire, that abundance is then used to generate ‘more abundance’ for the common good and the betterment of humanity. Working with the serpents needs courage and dedication. Working with the dragons requires a sound connection to both Sun/heaven and the Earth. When you assist in their awakening, and maintenance, continual creation is assured.

In the time of the ancestors, this ability to work with the serpent energy was well known. Many goddesses, and gods, were portrayed with serpents because they worked with the flows of fertility energy in the land, and within their bodies. They understood the deep connection between their own sacred sexual spirituality and the fertility of the land, and often temple fertility rites involved sexual rituals to both feed the land with this sacred energy, and the people.

The serpent priests/priestesses, trained for many years to become capable of holding and guiding this serpent energy of fertility to bring it to the land, the land that grew the crops which then fed the people. Highly trained men and women ensured the people were fed and the elements were kept in balance. At least in their part of the world.

Serpents, as an expression of fertility, keep the energies of the soil, alive and vibrant. This energy, the soil which is alive with it, maintains the growth of every living thing. It allows the water to keep flowing, the sun to connect to the earth and energetic particles of charged air to feed everything that flies or that reaches to the skies.

There are serpents of water, serpents of land, of the sun, and the serpent of the force of fertility from the Mother herself. Many sacred sites, such as Cathedrals, are built upon great rivers of blue serpent energy, the waters of which are both energetic and physical. Ceremony held at these places feeds the serpent river and this charged water then travels through the land, feeding everything it touches. Water was life and the fertility of the water was of the utmost importance.

Serpents, and their energies have been venerated for millenia. Here are some examples:

Serpents played a significant role in Egyptian mythology. The cobra, known as the “uraeus,” was a symbol of sovereignty, worn on the crowns of pharaohs. But only those pharoahs who had mastered their own emotions and thoughts and undergone initiation could use the serpent energy the uraeus represented. This was the rising of the golden earth serpent energies up the spine and over the head. Once this level of activation had been achieved, the pharoah could then see with the eye of the serpent, meaning he saw with the Will of the Divine mother. His vision was now hers.

Snakes, particularly cobras, are venerated in India. The Nagas (serpent deities) are powerful and protective figures. In Hinduism, the serpent Shesha is seen as the king of all Nagas. Snakes in Hinduism are often associated with the god Shiva, who wears a snake around his neck, symbolizing control over time and death. They are also connected to fertility and the life force.

The serpent was associated with healing in Greek mythology. The god Asclepius, the deity of medicine and healing, was often depicted with a staff entwined by a serpent, a symbol still used in medicine today (the Rod of Asclepius). Serpents were also connected to oracles, such as the Oracle of Delphi, where the Python, a serpent, was said to guard the sacred site before being slain by Apollo. These cobra guardians were the protectors of the feminine oracles so in slaying it, he was laying it bare to his masculine will, his power over the feminine.

In Mesoamerican cultures, particularly the Aztecs, the Feathered Serpent, Kukulkan was a deity associated with the morning star, wind, learning, and the arts. This deity was revered for bringing civilization and was a major figure in religious practices. During the equinoxes, on a site called ‘The Castle’, as the sun moves it creates an optical illusion of a serpent moving down the pyramid. The solar cretive energies being brought to earth to fertilise it.

In Hatshepsut’s mortuary temple, in Luxor, Egypt, descending down either side of the main staircase, are carved undulating serpents that move downwards, taking the light of the sun from the upper world. They end at the body of Horus, the Hawk, Divine intermediary between the deities and man and messenger of the Gods. The energies have to be ‘stepped down’ so they can be utilised by the land and its people.

In Norse mythology, Jörmungandr, the Midgard Serpent, is a colossal serpent that encircles the world and is destined to battle Thor during Ragnarök, the end of the world. This serpent symbolizes both the cyclic nature of the world and inevitable destruction. InCeltic Symbolism and culture, serpents often symbolized renewal, healing, and the earth’s fertility. The serpent was a potent symbol in Druidic traditions.

In Southeast Asia, particularly in Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand, the Nagas are serpent beings believed to inhabit the underworld and protect the earth and its waters. Naga offerings are made to ensure protection from natural disasters and to seek blessings for water and fertility.

Among some Native American tribes, the serpent is a powerful figure in creation myths and is associated with the earth and water. The Horned Serpent, for instance, is a significant figure in the mythology of tribes like the Cherokee and the Lakota.

In the Christian tradition, the serpent is most famously associated with the Garden of Eden story, where it tempts Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. This act links the serpent with sin, temptation, and the devil in Christian theology. And yet, prior to this demonisation of women, and their connection to serpent power, the Goddess was the trees and the fruit and the serpent. They were her gifts, her power and she shared them freely.

In Fijian belief, the god Degei is depicted as a serpent. He is considered the creator of the islands and the judge of souls in the afterlife. Degei’s serpentine form symbolizes power, creation, and the duality of life and death.

So you can see how powerful this serpent energy is as an archetype. As an energy, it is equally powerful.

There are two celestial serpents which travel through space and through the Earth, keeping it anchored. The blue serpent energy is female and circles the earth many times before finding an ‘entrance point’. This serpent is usually associated with rain. The original people of Australia speak of the Rainbow Serpent, which enters, and leaves, via waterholes, sacred to them. For hundreds, if not thousands, of years, they have been the custodians of this sacred work.

Both the Blue and Gold Celestial serpents are the energies that come from outside the planet as Sun and Rain, the two physical energies needed for life on Earth. And although they are Celestial energies, they also need to travel through the Planet in order for their energy to permeate the body of the Earth. The Gold and Blue energy lines flow throughout the land, surfacing in certain places and at certain times of the year, then going underground again.

My first introduction to future work with the serpent goddesses was about thirty years ago. A friend and I were doing a meditation to find our Soul names. I listened for mine but was not getting anything, then I heard ‘Astarte’. Astarte, I thought? Isn’t she a goddess? That can’t be my soul name. So, I asked again, frustrated, and again it came back: ‘Astarte’. I obviously was not doing this right, so I gave up and thought I would it some other time. But, unbeknownst to me, I had just received my Goddess-aspect name which would explain why I seemed to do fertility work with sacred sites in the landscape.

Astarte was a Canaanite goddess of fertility but also worhsipped in Egypt where a temple was dedicated to her in Memphis.

In this image, she is holding lotuses in one hand and serpents in the other, and she is standing on a lion, which represents power on earth. The god of fertility, Min, stands at her right hand side, and the pharoah stands to her left.

Male and Female Manifestation Technique.

Female manifesting technique; for when you want to find out what path to manifest.

earth's womb

“Try your hand at believing that all good comes from the Mother. Place your thoughts in her womb that they might grow into physical creations. Imagine that all you desire to come about already resides in etheric form within the body of the Earth. See it existing, not just in your 3d reality. Bring your awareness then into the female creative function of the Earth and allow your dreams to grow there. Then allow your ideas to take root within that dream until they blossom forth into your physical reality. Let us show you how:”

green_dragons_by_ianjam-d2xne1v

Go into a quiet space and open yourself up to your soul’s guidance. This is done with intention. Not knowing your goals allows for creative possibilities in your life, a chance to correct your current direction. Ask your Soul/higher Self to show you what your next goal is, then wait, keeping yourself open to what images or thoughts pop into your mind. Sometimes your personal guide will appear and show you. Allow your imagination to explore the possibilities. Try to be as imaginative as you can be, do not censor ideas as they come to you, just follow their trail. Allow the energy of will and desire, plus adventure and exploration to be your guide during this process. Imagine all possibilities. When an idea or vision is shown to you, and sometimes it will be exactly what you want to have, ask that you be shown the first couple of steps that you will need to take in order to achieve that goal. Sometimes the first step might be to do something and sometimes it might mean you have to change your thinking, but whatever it is know that it is the first step in that new direction of your Soul.

Male manifestation technique;  For when you know what it is that you wish to create on a material level.

two-hands-glow-globeImagine that you are holding in your hands a sphere of light. This sphere of light is a thought from the mind of god (Universe, Source etc). This is important to remember as it means that the possibility of your desire already exists in the mind of god and only needs you to activate it!

While holding your sphere imagine what it is that you want and see it in the sphere. Imagine yourself already having what you desire. See every aspect of it, see how you might be enjoying having it, how it feels, how it might benefit your life. Put as much positive feeling into this visualisation as you can. Feel how it will feel to have what you desire.

8464428009_f926db09cd_z

When you have done this for a few minutes start to empower the sphere with healing energy until it begins to get brighter and brighter. When you feel you have charged the sphere enough allow it to float into the air and high into the sky, back to the mind of God where it originated. See it blending with God and then let it go.  It will manifest quite quickly depending on what you have created.

When you have ‘seen’ what is in your mind and you desire to create that picture, place it in your sphere of light, charge it with energy then imagine that it is moving deep into the Earth, into the Mother’s womb. Allow it to take root there, like a fertilised ovum.  Allow it to gestate, noting the changes in your thinking as what you desire begins to take shape in your world.

On Male and Female Manifesting. Channelling.

“We are keen to address the issue of abundance.

carved_cube_by_pigshavewings-d333p99

Try to imagine a cube. Each side represents an issue concerning one aspect of material abundance. It is a bundle of beliefs which, when taken together, represent a mass belief. This ‘mass belief’ affects humanity in different ways. Cultural differences will dictate which of these beliefs will be acted upon by those self same cultures. Some of these beliefs require a belief in the ‘Almighty’ to provide. But because the Almighty can only provide what the Mother has created he is limited within his own creative potentials.

In order to create a new system of beliefs the image of the sphere is necessary.  Within the sphere, at its centre, lies a point of light; the point of creative potential. Now, this point, or spark, holds all possibilities within itself. It is part of the sphere and yet an individual spark in its own right. In order to create from the spark one must become aware of their own Divine intent.

gem-dragon-wings-crystal

With Divine Intent one can create almost anything that they choose to create. This is because when you Divinely create from your souls your ‘personal will’ becomes less of an interference .

The square then represents the ‘minds’ intention. Each belief separated from the other. The sphere, on the other hand represents the Whole being with the soul spark in the centre of the body. Therefore you are creating from your Divine Essence and you are creating from your ‘centre’ and this then radiates outwards into all spheres, all dimensions. This is called ‘Holistic Creation’. When you can consciously create from this point your manifestations  become real and all is within Divine Order.

Try now to define the point whereby you can focus these energies and radiate them out to the world.  We will assist you with this undertaking.

Adonai and blessings on your journey.”

While I  was receiving this information I saw that the ‘beliefs’ engraved on the cube’s surfaces were deeply engraved onto its stone surface in particular patterns. I saw that in order to learn to change how we create we would need to smooth out these beliefs until the square became a  smooth sphere. We would have to heal the beliefs that had been so deeply entrenched in our thinking. Self examination, and hard work, was the key.

The sphere is really our Mother-infused energy field with its point behind our navel. It is the centre of our being, our umbilical connection to the Mother Earth! When we work energetically with the Mother consciousness, we are working from our center. When your energy channel is open, the Navel centre, or Hara, is where we are grounded. This centre is also called the TanTien in Chinese energy systems.

Hara, Tan Tien, Mother Centre.

Hara, Tan Tien, Mother Centre.

During my 20 years training I learned about the Hindu system of energy, i.e. the seven chakras, but I found that when I was working with Mother energy I could feel energy more in the heart, the Third eye and the Hara. These are the three centres which Mikau Usui trained his students to use and develop. He believed, and taught, that the Head centre was where Heaven Ki, or energy, entered the body. The Hara, was where Earth Ki entered the body and the Heart Ki was where both Heaven and Earth merged.

When working with Father energy, i.e  more upper-dimensional work, I would receive info via the Heaven centre but it would be ‘placed’ into my Hara Centre. Often, when I am working with upper energies I make connections from the ‘Universe’ which come only into my heart, Earth energies come from below, via my base centre, and stop at my Navel Centre and then are bridged, and connected, at my Solar Plexus. I often see an image of an earthenware jar at my centre, into which my guides ‘place’ information or energy before I do some work at a Sacred Site.

Working with the consciousness of the Sphere is a very palpable experience. Your entire body is involved in the work. This is why it is so important to get back into your body and to heal whatever might be keeping you out of it! Your body is your barometer of what is happening in the Earth, and its emotional/mental/psychic atmosphere. Everything is ‘felt’, but often, if we have had traumatic experiences in our lives, we will not be sensitive physically, because we have cut off from our physicality. It takes years of hard work to feel safe in our bodies again, but it can be done! The more we heal oursleves and get back into our bodies the more we can connect to the Mother in all of nature.

In the next blog I will add a channelled technique for working with both the male and Female manifesting energies so that you can learn to use the Father and Mother techniques for manifesting.

The Will of the Mother.

For centuries we have been talking about the Father’s Will and how ‘his’ Will be done. We know it usually means giving up our own ‘small’ will for that of a higher Divine Will, in whatever way we believe that to be. But we are never taught about the Mother’s Will. Does the Divine/Earth Mother have a Will? Apparently so!

I received the following channelling a few years ago, in 2008,  which explained to me what the Mother’s Will was and how it manifests in our lives. Following any Divine Will is usually part of a spiritual path and does not mean giving your power away to another outside power, a power which is usually a projection of our own unclaimed power. But it is part of the path which we willingly trust if we are here as healers and guides and with a purpose which is not purely a personal one. Here is what ‘upstairs’ have to say about it:

Mother Earth. Gaia.

Mother Earth. Gaia.

“The Mother’s Will acts from the heart of love, and this is what you will then need to develop, the heart of love. In order to understand how to use this Will energy you will need to understand how to tell the difference between your heart’s Will and her’s. Your heart’s Will contains the pain of loss and lovelessness, whereas the Mother’s Will has an energy of resoluteness, a Divine knowing of the rightness of things. You know here of which we speak.

If you ‘Will’ to do something you put all of your energy into its manifestation. There is no doubt. When the Mother Will’s something this is also true, but the feeling is greater and more real. You experience it as a Divine Vision. It belongs to the heart of Love. When you desire something it has an emotional connection, the feeling of ‘wanting’. But the Mother’s desire is altogether different. It comes with the energy of desiring that the whole of the earth and its inhabitants benefit from her work.

So you begin to understand! The Mother does not act from her own desire,s but desires that which the Whole benefits from. When your work begins to reflect the Will of the Mother. you become her Will. Her Will then moves through you and into the world. rubies_1176_990x742 Her Will is focussed in the heart, and the Ruby ray allows this Will to permeate the entire kingdom of the earth so that all may one day benefit from being held in her arms, just like Hatshepsut’s temple. Now you understand her role also, and that of many others who came to pave the way for her to be re-established in the consciousness of men once more. We ask you now to serve as her Divine vessel in Truth and Will, her Truth, her Will. Let this be reflected in everything you do and in everything you think and feel, for her desire runs through you and it quickens in your blood. Allow nothing to stand in the way of this divine work and let no-one sway you from its completion this time. May the love of the Mother be with you always.”

The Snow Goddess.

I wrote this after a trip to Iceland and just after moving back to England from Ireland. A move I did not want to make at the time, but now that I am living in Egypt I can see why it had to happen.  Looking at the ‘vision’ now I can see what it means.  I have wondered why it was the God of Summer though.  I know that there is equal balance between masculine and female energies in our Irish belief system of old but why is the God of Summer vegetation calling the Snow Goddess back? In hindsight I can see how our UK winters have been becoming colder and colder and I have believed, since this vision, that we are slowly moving back into a mini ice-age. The channelling I have received over the last few years would certainly lead me to believe this also.

But here is the vision. Tell me what you think!

Freya

Freya

20 May 2008.

As I was going to sleep I began to have visions which seemed to be about the Goddess in Iceland, (I visited there in march 08). I could see the old goddess, dressed in white but with long white straggly hair. She was shaping the ice mountains and the ice into tall cones. After a time of doing this the image changed and she was dressed in a wedding gown and was marrying the god of summer vegetation. As they stood side by side, she was the winter, white and cold. He was the summer, colourful and fertile with plants. They stood together like a picture of two seasons. She stood on the left, in my vision, and he on the right so that the seasons changed in time.
The next image was of the young goddess and she was asleep in the snow. Beside her stood a golden sleigh, filled with furs and pulled by deer. She was taken, still sleeping, from the snow and gently laid in the soft furs. The deer pulled the sleigh around and began to pull, pulling it into the sky where they disappeared into the distance, behind the sun. They seemed to be going out into the universe but it felt like a cycle of time. As it went behind the sun it would begin to turn and make its way back to the earth, but not yet! The sun became very big and bright and began to pulse heat onto the earth, melting the snows. The snows began to shrink back and melt, creating little streams of melt-water. Plants began to grow.

God of Spring.

God of Spring.

The image faded and then I saw a tall hilltop in the shape of a mound. It seemed to be green on the top, with vegetation, and snow and mist below, like it was a mixture of both. A shaman stood on top of the mound and began to call the goddess back. A freezing cold north wind began to blow and the goddess returned bringing ice and snow with her to cover the land once again. I heard ‘Lammas’ at this point.
I wasn’t sure if this was the cycle of the year or whether it was a longer cycle of time. But it was interesting that there were only two seasons. Winter and summer. Its also interesting that the goddess was pulled into the sky in a golden sleigh by deer! Mother Christmas?! I have certainly made essences with the energy of the gift-giving father who comes as Father Christmas! Both Farther and Mother bring fertility and life. just in different ways…

The Vain Rook.

Sometimes stories ‘pop’ into my head and it is only when writing them that I realise what they are about. They usually reflect situations with people around me, teaching me,or someone else, how to deal with a situation or how a situation will evolve. I hope this helps the person it is destined for!

Once upon a time there was a very vain rook. He spent most of his days gazing at his reflection from a branch high up on a tree which grew on the side of a very large river. The river was so large that he couldn’t actually see where it began or where it ended.

His branch overhung the water in a particularly quiet part of the river, where two little channels separated from the main river and created little islands, which were then surrounded by clear, slow moving water.

Every day from his perch he would sit and gaze at himself, admiring his long shiny black feathers and his grey feathered chest.

“I must be the most beautiful bird in the world”,  he would say to himself as he turned his head this way and that to see as much of himself as he could in the reflection of the water. He spent so much of his time preening and admiring himself that often he would forget to eat and the other rooks that spent time in the tree thought that he was the craziest bird that they had ever seen.

His parents, whose nest lay high above his branch, despaired of him, wondering how on earth they had raised such a vain chick. They shook their heads and sighed and worried about what would become of him.

One day, while he sat above the water, admiring himself as usual, he spotted a fish swimming below him. The fish was looking for flies as she was very hungry and she created ripples in the water distorting the mirror-like quality of the water’s surface.

“Hey” cawed the rook loudly. “What do you think you are doing there? Can’t you see I am doing something?”

The fish looked up in surprise. “I’m sorry. Were you talking to me?” she asked, her mouth gulping in a large fly that just happened to fly by her.

“Yes I’m talking to you!” the rook said indignantly, and he stuck his neck out trying to bring his beak closer to the water to get a closer look at this rude intruder.

The fish went on looking for flies and other tasty morsels and as she was so hungry didn’t really have much interest in the rook or his behaviour.

“Are you listening to me?” the rook demanded, becoming more and more irate with this selfish fish. The fish was swimming around so much now, and creating so much rippled water, that the rook could only see the dark shadowy outline of his body. Gone was the shiny lustre of his feathers and his long sleek wings and dark piercing eyes.

“Can’t you stop?” he yelled loudly in an angry caw. “I can’t see myself anymore”.

The fish stopped swimming and looked up at the angry young crow, her curiosity overcoming her need for food.

She poked her head up out of the water and took a couple of gulps of air. She stared up at the crow, whose beak was now right in front of her little face. She had to  twist her head slightly sideways to get a better look!

“So…what are you doing?” she asked the crow who was by now hopping up and down and doing, what to the fish, looked like a very comical dance on the branch.

“What am I doing?” screeched the crow, “What am I doing? What does it look like I’m doing?”

The fish looked puzzled. All she could see was a young black crow hopping up and down on the branch of a tree and staring into the water.

“Are you …fishing?” she gulped warily, thinking that she might be crow food at any minute.

“Do I look like I’m fishing?” asked the crow in the kind of voice only reserved for the stupidest of animals…or fish.

“Well, come to think of it, no you don’t.” answered the fish. “ I mean I’ve seen those beautiful kingfishers flying high above the water and then diving deep to catch smallfry, but no, you don’t look like one of them.” she reflected. “I mean” she added with relieved grin, “I sure am glad you don’t look like one of them. So…if you are not fishing…then what are you doing?”

“I am taking care of myself”, answered the crow imperiously, thinking to himself that this was the most ridiculous fish he had ever come across. Didn’t she know anything?

The fish frowned a fish frown, which was barely perceptible to the crow. Not that he was looking at the fish anyway as he was too busy trying to see his own reflection.

Taking care of yourself…” the fish repeated, trying to ascertain exactly what this might mean. “Em…I don’t mean to sound stupid,” she added after a short pause, “But how does sitting in that tree, looking at the water all the time equal you taking care of yourself. I don’t get it”.

The crow, now believing entirely in the fish’s stupidity, explained in a slow manner, just so that the fish would understand what he, the clever and vain rook, meant by taking care of himself.

“Well,” he said, puffing himself up, “I look at my reflection in the water so that I can see how I look. I have to look my best you know, as do all birds. But,” he nodded his head in the direction of the other birds, “they don’t seem to understand that”.

“Riiight” said the fish slowly, still not really understanding what on earth the bird was talking about. She thought about this for a minute, then she asked carefully “So why do you need to look your best?”

The crow looked up to heaven, exasperated beyond measure. But at the same time, a little doubt was starting to creep into this mind. He had done this since he could leave the nest, in fact, he reflected, since even before he left the nest. He remembered sharing the nest with his brother and two sisters and as he grew older and bigger he would peer out over the edge of the nest and see himself reflected in the water below. He thought then that he must be the most beautiful of birds as he never could see the reflection of his brothers and sisters in the water. Only his. He felt that this must surely be because he was the most beautiful and so the river only wanted to see him. He must be the special one. And so it was important that he look his best at all times, otherwise the river might lose interest in him and then he would be…just ordinary…like the other birds. “No”, he thought, feeling now a little worried, and stating aloud, forgetting that the fish was beneath him in the water “I am the most beautiful. I am special”. He looked down at the water and saw the fish, who was looking up at him with a quizzical expression on her face.

“You’re special?” she repeated, curious now as to what this crow saw in himself. All she saw was a crow, and not a very handsome one at that, if handsome was a word one could use with crows! “And beautiful?”

“Yes, yes I am” stated the crow, straightening his neck to create the best profile.

The fish laughed, she had to go beneath the water to get her breath back as she was laughing so hard now that she thought she might drown with laughter. Once she had composed herself she rose again to the surface.

“What do you mean by laughing”? screamed the crow, flapping his wings and bobbing his head up and down angrily. “What is so funny about that?”

“I just don’t see what makes you the most beautiful…or the most special of all the birds,” the fish answered chuckling. “I mean…you’re a crow. What’s so special about that?”

The crow was furious. “I’m not just a crow”, he sputtered, “I am the most beautiful Crow. And that is why” he added breathlessly, “the river loves me so much. She sees me everyday and shows me how beautiful I am. Just look” he said pointing his beak at the water. “See, there I am, right there. How wonderful I look”.

And the crow leaned out over the water trying to prove to the fish just how much he was loved for his beauty.

The fish was by now in hysterics. After all she lived in the river, she knew that the river was just water and didn’t love anyone. Water was water!

She began to swim and swim in circles and the water became very agitated.

“Stop, stop,” screamed the bird wildly. “You’re ruining everything!!! Now I can’t see anything. Not even my colour! STOP”.

The fish suddenly stopped and let the water settle into quietness once again. It became the calm mirror-like surface it had been before. The crow heaved a sigh of relief and gazed anxiously into the water to see himself.

Then the fish asked the crow quietly “If the river loves you so much how come I can make ripples in it and waves so that you cannot see yourself in it any longer?”

The crow stopped gazing at himself and stared at the fish. Fear gripped his belly like a vice. He had never considered that before, believing that the river was all there was and that her reflection of him must be the truth.

“What do you mean?” he asked shakily. He gripped the branch tightly with his talons lest he fall off the branch.

“If the river loves you so much, which you believe it does, and that that is why she shows you such a wonderful reflection of yourself, how come I can come and change it all in an instant? How come I can make her change what you see?”

The crow became lightheaded. This thoroughly confused him. He had never thought of this before. He believed what he saw in his reflection and never for one minute thought that there might be another reason for it.

He felt that he was going to faint. What if the fish was right and he wasn’t the most special of all the birds..or the most beautiful? Then what? Would that mean that he was just like the others? Drab and boring, not shiny and black as he was? No, no that can’t be true.

“I don’t believe it” he said finally, sticking his head in the air and refusing to acknowledged the fish. “Its just not the truth. I am special. I just know it.”

“Oh you might be special” the fish said, “But no more special than any other crow.”. Then she added, just to torment him further as she liked the effect her words were having on this conceited young bird. “I , on the other hand, am special. Look how I can change the water and make you look ugly and distorted.” And she laughed at the bird who had now turned a whiter shade of grey!

She spotted a fly and darted for it, catching it deftly in her mouth and swallowed it whole. She turned then and looked at him. “You see crow, I live in the river and I know all of her moods and I know that in order to survive we must respect her and be grateful for what she gives us. But you, you will never understand that because you are a bird of the air and you do not know how to live in her…as the other crows do. They know where they belong but you don’t.”

She looked long and hard at him and then said  “I wish you well, young bird, and I hope you find your true source of happiness one day.” And with that she dived beneath the water and was gone, her tail creating a splash behind her.

The rook sat on the branch, his wings drooped low and his head fallen on his chest. He couldn’t bear to look in the water, to see the reflection which no longer meant anything. After a short while he raised his head and watched the other birds in their nests. He watched too the other crows flying to and from their tree searching for food and he realised that he was hungry. He realised that he had spent so much time looking at himself that he really hadn’t been taking  care of himself at all. He hadn’t been feeding himself but starving himself, and for what? Adoration? Love? He didn’t know. But he did know this. He knew that he would never trust what he saw in the river again, knowing that the reflection could change at any time and it didn’t tell him who he truly was. He was a crow, and he was supposed to be flying free above the trees and the earth. Something, he realised with gleeful surprise, that the fish couldn’t do. And with a loud and exultant ‘caw’ he flew into the air and soared as high as his wings could take him.

He flew so high that his parents, who had been watching him, wondering what on earth had been going on, were suddenly struck with fear that he might fly too high. But then they stopped and looked at each other. They each had the same thought, “Our son is flying…FLYING”. They cawed wildly and excitedly and threw their wings around each other. “Our son is flying” they cried together. “He’s become the crow he is supposed to be.” And they hugged each other and watched as their son soared through the clear blue skies where he was soon joined by the other crows. Their heart swelled with joy and they settled down in their nests glad that their  son had finally found his wings.

The Old God of Winter at Winchester Cathedral: A Vision of Father Yule

This was an experience I had in July 2009 when we went to see John Tavener in concert at Winchester cathedral. Earlier that afternoon, I had spent the day at the home of one of my daughters and had sprayed myself with one of the essences I’d made in Ireland at Maeve’s fort in Tara. For two hours, I felt dizzy, nauseous, completely ungrounded and very shaky! I wondered if it were the essence or because we had to do some work in the cathedral later. Sometimes, when my consciousness knows there is work to be done, I experience a ‘preparation’ of sorts. An energetic shift. As if the energies required at the site fill my energy-field beforehand. (Now, in 2025 I don’t feel it so strongly it makes me sick, but I do feel it).

When we arrived at the cathedral, the program said that Vivaldi’s ‘Four Seasons’ would also be played. That turned out to be rather pleasant but not a patch on Tavener, which was incredible. It really was energy music. It was called ‘Towards Silence’ and it was a meditation on the different states of Dying and Being, according to the Vedantas. The sound was created by a Tibetan singing bowl and strings. It was magical. (I’ve put the Spotify link to the music below). Attending my first Tavener concert, a few years before this visit, I saw that Winchester cathedral was built on a large blue water line that looked like a wide flowing river flowing from one end of the cathedral to the other. It was a feminine frequency. Tavener’s music is so spiritual that it does things to the energy of the cathedral.

Totally absorbed in the current concert, I became aware of how the music opened a gateway to another realm. As I sank deeper into the music I saw the god Pan sitting with the orchestra. He was the fawn, with hairy legs and a beard, with a crown of leaves and berries and he was playing a pipe. He seemed to be in a nature dimension which co-existed with our physical one but which was invisible most of the time.

He played his pipe with the orchestra and then disappeared but in his place appeared a man who looked like Father Yule. ‘What’s he doing there?’ I wondered. ‘ Isn’t Father Yule Saxon?’ This man seemed to embody a pagan version of Father Christmas. He was a fat, red-cheeked man, naked except for a red cloak which hung around his shoulders and he wore some kind of woollen trousers. Around his head was a crown of ripe fruit and leaves and his energy was that of male abundance.

When I ran a group in Winchester years before, we went to the grounds around the Cathedral and did a meditation. I saw a huge monolith where the Cathedral now stood. It seemed to be on an island surrounded by water. An energy which called himself ‘Jack in the Green’ showed me how it had been here in the past. It was a male fertility site and was balanced by St. Catherine’s Hill which lies to the south east of the cathedral. St. Catherine’s Hill is the Feminine site in the area. Energy flows from the sun into the hill and is then channelled through radiating energy lines into the landscape, keeping it fertile and abundant.

The Saxon aspect makes me wonder if the builders of the Minster and the New Minster, which were built side by side, (so close apparently that when the monks were singing in each one their voices overlapped) were aware of this energy partnership and its radiating masculine energy. The Saxons had a very different understanding than the Normans who built the current cathedral.

Back at the concert, watching the musicians play in front of the ornate rood screen at the top of the nave, the image changed and white-robed priests appeared in a circle in front of the stage. A hole opened in the centre of this circle and gold light began to flow out, like honey. It continued to flow, filling the floor of the cathedral with gold liquid until it lapped against the pillars. It was a few feet deep and it was as if the music was also filling the cathedral with golden light. The sun had nearly set and its light shone into the cathedral, filling everything with light.

The sounds of a very large Tibetan bowl resounded around the cathedral and it felt incredibly powerful. As the sound bounced off the walls the image changed and I now saw vines and plants climbing up around the pillars. The cathedral was filled with nature and a few minutes later, the image changed again. Pan was once more visible on the stage and the cathedral was open to the sky. Nature had returned.

The priests walked in a line and stood in front of the stage, looking down the nave to where the audience were sitting. They seemed to be waiting. As the music drew to a close, the Yule father appeared again, smiling broadly as the priests walked forward. I thought they were going to reform in a circle again, instead, they walked around the outside of the circle they had already created and then walked out a door in the south-side of the cathedral. A door which is no longer open and which would have led to the Close where they now have the Christmas market. They were obviously following a much older route.
The music drew to a close then, and in silence, everyone left the cathedral.

This was a fascinating experience and because of my previous experience at the cathedral, at another one of Tavener’s concerts, I should not have been surprised. It was also fascinating how Pan’s music and the music of Tavener called the Yule Father into this space. Tavener’s music is a divinely dictated, as he suggests himself and Pan certainly seemed to appreciate it. It makes me think that although Tavener picks up divinely inspired ideas for his music, some of that might come from the nature realms. The sounds he creates flow along those lines.

The Saxon Yule Father also makes sense when I think about the Saxons and their minsters. King Alfred’s wife also had what are now the Abbey grounds and it too is energetic and energetically connected to Winchester cathedral. The feminine balance to the Masculine. But he also had fruits around his head, so his summer abundance was also very present.

There is a lovely dedication to John Tavener now in the cathedral in the form of a water sculpture which needs to be seen to be properly appreciated.

Interview.

Eve’s Garden.

Replying to Deb-Aurah Araznu’s (link at bottom of page) status update on Facebook I decided that my reply needed some expanding. The poster was describing her experience of spiritual expansion and she spoke about the Garden of Eden. Having been brought up as a Catholic in a convent we were taught the story of Adam and Eve and the tree in the Garden of Eden. Needless to say, when I was  6 years old I didn’t question the wisdom of the nuns. After all, they were closer to God than I.

Or maybe not! As I developed as a healer and worked more and more on the meaning of myth, often I would awaken from sleep with ‘realisations’. One morning I awoke with the image of a naked Eve standing on the roots of a large tree, with an apple in her hand, and she had a serpent entwined around her body. But this was not the Christian Eve. This was the Mother Goddess, a far more ancient version than the Christian vision.  The ‘knowing’ that went with this picture was this: Eve represented the Mother of Creation, nature, that which fed us and sustained our physical bodies. The apple that she was offering to mankind/Adam, was her wisdom and knowledge of the Divine Feminine; The path of the Mother. Divine Love. The serpent was the energy which flowed through the earth, it brought fertility to the land, and fed the people and all that lived upon it. The tree was the Tree of Life. Not in the way which the Jewish people understood it but as the vehicle through which the apples might be brought to humanity. The tree was life. It is only through living a physical life, experiencing the whole range of emotions and life events that we can truly grow.

We do not grow by forever being out of our bodies and in our minds; that growth is limited. The wisdom of the Mother therefore is the Mystery of Life, birth, death and everything in between. Our sacredness is experienced through our bodies. It is in the experience of living that we face our greatest challenges and experience our greatest joys. Through the realm of emotion we learn to overcome fear and to rise into our soul awareness, instilling in ourselves the flow of Divine Providence. The Mother is Abundance.

In Ancient Egypt the Mother Goddess Isis was represented by the Sycamore Tree which fed the Pharaoh and his family. But Isis, and Osiris, are said to have been born of Lusaaset, (The Great One who comes forth). She was the Grandmother of the Deities, and she too was an Acacia tree. She was the Goddess of Creation.

But why trees? Apart from the obvious link to the fact that they do provide life to humans in the form of food, syrup, water, and wood? Well, the answer to this also came in the shape of a ‘morning realisation’. I awoke, on another morning, with an image of the Kabbalah, the Jewish Tree of life superimposed on Egypt!

While I was walking to work later that morning I had another image. The central ‘trunk’ of this tree was the Nile River, feeding the entire tree. The Branch containing the three spheres Hod, Gevurah and Binah were the Goddess Isis, the Divine Feminine. The opposite three, on the other branch was Osiris, the Divine Masculine. The Tree of life, in the Jewish tradition represented creation and the Divine Balance between the feminine and the masculine. But that wasn’t all. Each sphere represented a sacred place on the map of Egypt. The Isis spheres representing sites which were predominantly female and the Osiris spheres representing sites which were masculine in their nature. The spheres along the central trunk were sites where the energies were ‘balanced’ between male and female.

The tree was not purely an esoteric idea but a real, workable map of energy sites where, when all these sites are functioning correctly, brings balance and abundance to the country. The lines on the tree show the connections between each site as all sites are connected via a matrix of energy lines which feed the landscape and its atmosphere with the energies of the site.  It functions a little like a Mother board in a computer. Remembering that the Hebrews came from Egypt with Moses, who was a priest, it is easy to see how the sacred knowledge went with them. But somewhere along the line the information was lost and it became a purely esoteric method of connecting to the Divine. The Mother aspect having been relinquished somehow.

This brings us back to the garden of Eden! The Garden is the Realm of the Mother in Balance with the Father. For the tree cannot exist without the life-giving sun and rain. But the Hebrews who brought the knowledge of the Tree of Life and the Garden of Eden decided that they no longer needed the Mother. They could do it all themselves, even though to begin with they obviously brought the belief in Hathor, in the form of the Golden cow, with them, along with the story of Isis and the tree. But the story of Divine Harmony and Balance was distorted so that now the Divine Feminine was reduced to being a tempting harlot, weak and ignorant, bringing shame to mankind and forcing their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Somehow the Hebrew God became the fearful, avenging and angry God who hated the Mother and all women of the Earth.

So what part of ‘Honour thy Father AND thy Mother’ did they not understand?
