Whatever happened to Mother?

I wrote this blog a few years ago while I was living in Luxor but it was really more about my observations of how the Catholic faith ‘disappeared’ the Mother, especially in the British Isles. But it hadn’t always been that way.

https://gaiamethod.wordpress.com/2012/09/21/what-have-they-done-with-mother/

As a result of being able to see the energy or ritual I was able to see what happened during the Catholic Mass and the consecration of the bread and the wine. That told me a lot about the Catholic Church!

But read the blog and you will see how I came to my conclusions!

Today’s Message…on Grumbling!

I’m sorting out the kitchen and getting lunch ready and suddenly upstairs chime in with “Just for today, do not grumble.”

This is obviously a new slant on Usui’s five precepts:

Just for today (Kyo dake wa):

Don’t get angry (Okoru na*)

Don’t worry (Shinpai su na)

Be grateful (Kansha shite)

Work diligently (Gyo wo hage me)

Be kind to others (Hito ni shinsetsu ni)

What do they mean, do not grumble? I’m not grumbling! I thought, rather put out that they’d even suggested that I might be. But, as I cast my mind back to how I had been behaving all morning I had to admit, that yes, I was definitely grumbling!

Grumbling about the fact that Omar (my husband) had thrown his jeans onto the table before going to sleep last night and had inadvertently spilt my half-finished cup of tea all over it, ruining some hand-made grass table mats, and thank God, missing my laptop. I didn’t discover it until I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the loo! That was grumble number one! (Note to self, put away tea mug before going to bed!)

Then I discovered that we had an invasion of fire ants in the dustbin under the sink! Grumble number two. So I spent half an hour while cooking and cleaning, spraying them with poison that could kill a horse (not good when you’re cooking), and then sweeping up their little dead bodies. There were a lot of them!

Fire ants are very small ants with a sting worse than a horsefly’s so the last thing you want in your kitchen is hundreds of them! We had the same problem in Luxor when we went back to the flat just before we painted it. As soon as we blocked one of their ‘doorways’ through our tiles, they would find another one! Thankfully, this time, we had the right insecticide.

And I don’t care what ‘upstairs’ say about all of us creatures co-habiting. I’m not sharing my living space with fire ants, mosquitos or blood-sucking flies, so my killer spray is always at hand. As Seth says ‘we create our own reality’, well my reality doesn’t include insects that leave a nasty bite!

THEN, I was filling a container with pasta and the bag tore, sending the pasta all over the floor. The same floor I had sprayed with ant killer only half and hour earlier. Grumble number three!

So, between trying to kill the ant invasion and getting food ready, I was obviously grumbling…a lot. Well, I did have to completely gut the kitchen to get rid of them…grumble number four!

Hmm, maybe they’re right.  I’ll have to listen up and take my guides suggestion on board and watch my ‘grumbling’ habit. The last thing I want is to create a worse insect-ridden life; it takes me away from my writing.  So perhaps if I stop grumbling about them they won’t invade my space and I might actually get my editing done!

So, Just For Today, I Am Not going to Grumble…anymore! Have a nice day!

Here is a video on these little suckers! If you’re interested…

Queen of Trees and Isis, Goddess of Egypt.

There is an amazing film about the Sycamore Fig, a tree once sacred to the Goddesses Isis, Hathor and Nut called Queen of Trees. Trees have always been an important source of nourishment to human beings and to all the creatures that live in, and on them and this tree is fecund and nourishing and quite probably was a source of survival for  people who did not live in luxurious palaces, but who lived so much closer to the land around the Nile.

There is one sycamore tree in the Temple at Karnac. It lies close to the Chapel of Sekhmet where I had a profound energetic connection and attunement with the Goddess Sekhmet. A few years later, we sat beneath this sycamore fig tree and had the obigatory, and ultimately paid for, cup of sweet tea with the gaffeers, the self-appointed guardians of the site. It was hot, but beneath the tree there was shadow and shelter, and the Goddess was still spreading her arms over the people of the Nile. Even they don’t recognise her.

When you watch the film, think about why it was sacred to the Mother Goddesses. Look at it symbolically, keeping in mind that the Mothers are the Feeders of humanity. Sweet milk is the milk of the mother, but she also gives her fruit. This tree is especially significant in a region which does not have trees that are this abundant all year round, and this film shows why.

To me, this is like the Symbolic Tree of Life, which is not a vertical tree, but a horizontal one, spreading its branches from its Nile tree-trunk to other parts of Egypt. Watching this film helps me to understand how this works, as the fig’s fruit travels all over the surrounding countryside via other creatures, seeding new trees I realise that this is what we do, as Gaia Method Earthways healers, and other earthworkers who work with the sacred energies of nature. We are symbolic trees spreading our fruit all over the world. Sharing the fruit of our endeavours with everyone. Providing nurturing and sustenance and, hopefully, joy.

To the Ancient Egyptians, the tree had two functions, one physical and one energetic, and both fed the country and its people.

Watch the movie and think Mother Goddess, with her priests and priestesses, and see what you get from it. If you get nothing of this nature but you appreciate the beautiful photography then that is enough. It is a beautiful film in its own right.

Enjoy.

On the Importance of Heresy…

If we have no heretics we must invent them, for heresy is essential to health and growth. ― Yevgeny Zamyatin

This morning’s on-awakening message was about the importance of heresy and heretics. Changes in deep-seated religious beliefs cannot happen without the heretics challenging the rigid status quo of beliefs about God, or society.

I’ve been thinking about that all morning, and I went online to check out some famous heretics. Living here in Egypt, we have our own famous heretic, Pharoah Akhenaten, who tried to change the spiritual beliefs of the entire country, failing, but only somewhat. His spiritual beliefs became part of the Jewish tradition.

The world is kept alive only by heretics: the heretic Christ, the heretic Copernicus, the heretic Tolstoy. Our symbol of faith is heresy. ― Yevgeny Zamyatin

Yes, Jesus was a heretic, as was Mary Magdalene, the first Christian. So was Mohammed, and his first wife, Khadija. She too was the first Muslim.  And Moses? Well… not that that is any consolation to fundamentalists of our three main western religions, all of which originated in the Middle East. Or perhaps I am being heretical?

Anway, hopefully you get my point. These heretics came to change the way humanity was doing things, none of them really succeeded, but they tried. Some got the real message and used it to base their life on, but most just used the beliefs to prop themselves up with. They are still doing it now.

I’m not sure why ‘upstairs’ are giving me this info at this time?   I am searching my inner and outer world to see why it applies. Are they reassuring me? Are some old Irish Catholic beliefs being stirred up internally? That’s probable. I do struggle with some issues of the Gaia Method system, especially when talking to men about it. It gives me a hot flush; being menopausal really shows me where my anxieties lie!

Working with the Gaia Method is a challenge because it really does challenge some unconscious beliefs around God, the Father! Because it is divinely Feminine in nature, and not Masculine, like our three main western religions, I suppose the fear is always there that it will end badly! Or that our Divine feminine energy will be suppressed etc. Not that I am putting myself on a par with the Moses, Jesus and Mohammed, but you get the idea. I believe too, that without the wives of these men, they could not have come as far as they did. The women played a vital role in their ability to teach their new ideas and to live them. Akhenaten was not an exception; if it wasn’t for Nefertiti’s strength he might never have gotten to Akhetaten in the first place. If it wasn’t for Khadija, Mohammed would have been too terrified to pass on his channelled information and if it wasn’t for Mary Magdalene, Jesus would not have learned about the rights of women to be free. Moses too learned his stuff from a Bedouin woman, who became his wife!

Moses too learned his stuff from a Bedouin woman, who then became his wife! All of these men had female teachers, who taught them self-trust and awareness. Without those female teachers, our three main religions might never have come to be. It’s a shame that the rest of the population could not accept the teachings, but the seeds are still there.

Perhaps my own fear of what it means to be a heretic, especially after dying rather horribly having been accused of being one in the USA a few centuries ago, as a young Quaker girl, is triggered. Yes, even writing about it brings on a hot flush. I came in with that lifetime very close to the surface, and obviously, I chose that for a reason. Even though I know I am ‘safe’ enough in this lifetime, the fears still remain, although I know I can move past them. I know rationally that they don’t apply this time around, so I need to have an inner conversation with myself.

I’ll let you know what happens!

New Seth’s Deleted Sessions.

I have just bought the first book in the series of Seth’s Personal Sessions, now that they are finally on Kindle, and I cannot put it down. Reading it in bed, before I sleep, my eyelids are struggling to stay open.

Now, I have been a fan of the Seth books for over twenty years, and have based my own personal development around them, using his higher insight and information. But often, because I am a predominantly spiritual/emotional person, although my rational mind is pretty well developed too, I tend to understand things more from an ‘experienced’ place. Intellectual ideas spin me out. So I tend to learn experientially, like most healers and psychics.

As a result of that, sometimes I found it difficult to understand how to use some of the information that Seth spoke about because I did not have a ‘hook’ to hang it on. Until now!

Because Jane, the woman who Seth spoke through while Jane was in trance, died earlier than they had hoped, and in the same way as her own mother, I had always wondered, from a psychological perspective, why she had died that way and what had prevented her from healing her illness, given that she was receiving so much help from Seth.

These books explain it all; and because they are focused on the personal, psychological issues of both Jane and her husband Rob, and their respective families and friends, I find it easy to understand and to work with.

So many of the older famous teachers, Shakti Gawain and others, based their life’s work around teaching the concepts of how we create our reality, originally taught by Seth. They were my teachers when I first began my own awakening journey in 1994. So when I found the Seth books, it all fell into place.

Reading The Personal Sessions takes me to another level of understanding of how to work with the deeper aspects of our psyches that can cause so much difficulty in our lives.

To give you an example, and one which is highly pertinent, as a family member has recently gone through an episode of this nature, and this has also been my experience on my own journey, Seth says this to Jane’s husband, who is recording Seth’s words:

(1) “In a new crisis situation, in facing a present crisis squarely and dealing with it in adult terms, he may indeed free himself largely; for the present situation through association brings up highly charged emotional energies that have been stopped up and causing difficulty.

It is highly necessary then that his present course be maintained, expressing his emotions honestly to himself and to you; and examining them, if he prefers, afterward, then taking with you whatever steps are necessary in your family situation. This is the adult’s chance to understand and emotionally exorcise parental ghosts from the child’s past. They will be viewed in the light of the present, brought up because of your family’s dilemma, to the light of day.

Ruburt (Jane’s entity name) should not brush aside any emotional connections then, but understand what is happening. For this process is releasing him already, and operates like a catharsis.”

This is exactly what happens in our life. We are triggered by an external event. The trigger opens up blocked emotional energy which then emerges, flooding us with unexpressed emotion. Once this dammed up emotional energy is released, we get to a point of being able to understand rationally, why it came up in the first place and what the emotional block was all about. This is not an easy process, but it clears things in an amazing way, freeing us to pursue a path which was previously closed to us, due to the emotional energy blockage.   Needless to say, there are layers of issues to work with but eventually they do clear, if you keep working on them.

On a physical level, Jane died with crippling arthritis and Seth tried to help both Jane and Rob to understand why she was ill, even though when Seth gave this information, the illness had not come so far:

(2) “The symptoms themselves cause certain chemical changes that have an effect, then, on the personality itself. If the self accepts the symptoms, and in all cases of illness to some extent or another this is true, then paradoxically a portion of the self identifies with the symptoms. (i.e. my depression, my illness, etc)

To rip away the symptoms becomes a ripping away of a portion of the self, even if a most disagreeable portion. The procedures immediately call for new growth on the part of the self, to replace what is being taken away, and to replace it in a more constructive fashion. This necessitates finding the causes for the symptoms, backtracking, really, to the point before the symptoms’ appearance, and facing problems now that would not be faced then. The symptoms represent in all cases one attempt, one method, of solving the existing problems. The personality must become aware of the inefficiency of such a manner. Now in some cases a physical illness is the best solution for various reasons having to do with reincarnational influences, and the inner lack of balance of the personality. In Ruburt’s case this is not so. We are trying to make him see the basic difficulty, and give him a solution that is acceptable. He should make every effort to understand them consciously as well as emotionally.”

(3) For years, literally, it was hammered into Ruburt’s subconscious that he was not worthy of any kind of success, and that he would be punished for his treatment of his mother. The suggestions came from the mother. Suggestions given by the mother are always the most tenacious in any case. While he struggled (to succeed), these did not cause him noticeable difficulty, though they operated underground, impeding his progress. Only when it seemed that success was on its way, or inevitable, did these suggestions show their effects. He is conscious of some of these in a general fashion. His mother let it be known that she had no use for him, and he thought if his mother could not love him, then certainly there must be something seriously wrong and unworthy about him. Running away gave him a feeling of security, but he ran in desperation. He stopped running to deal with the problem, to meet it head on. Symbolically then, he stopped running, but he carried this out in physical terms also. On a few occasions the mother went so far as to say: “I hope you are crippled someday, too.” And this became the feared punishment.”

Unfortunately, Jane was unable to heal this very deep psyche wound, and eventually died at the age of fifty-five years. Perhaps if she had had access to therapists and healers, as we do today, things might have been very different, who knows?

So if you are a healer, and you want to understand how to move through issues that arise, emotionally and physically, I recommend you read these books, plus the other Seth Books, all of which you can buy on Amazon. They are books that you will never stop reading! They are always valuable and useful. For me, the personal Sessions are a firm favourite, and ones I will go back to again and again, once I have read them all, that is. I just love them!

Reading the Soul.

spacemandala

A Soul reading can be many things. It can tell you what our Soul desires to accomplish, on a personal level, in this lifetime. It can tell you what you do, as a Soul, in the Spirit-world, in terms of our Soul service. It can tell you what you are here on the planet to do, for instance, if you are already training to be a guide, or involved in other purposeful work, for instance, in the environment, with people, or animals, etc.  It can be instructive, teaching you to remember why you chose to incarnate this time around, or it can be advice on how to work through a certain issue that you might have been grappling with for many lifetimes.

Many times, if it is necessary for your Soul, or ‘entity’, to remind you of what you planned to do here, you might find other lifetimes being brought to your attention, lifetimes that have a bearing on your current challenges. This is to remind your Soul, rather than your personality, because your Soul can then prompt your personality into understanding that there is a reason why you are doing what you are doing, or why you are experiencing what you are experiencing.

Sometimes you are given, if it will help you, your Soul Age in terms of development. When your guides do this it is to remind you that you have had many lifetimes of experience behind you and that this current challenge is probably one you have met before, therefore, you have many skills and abilities at your disposal. In other words “You can do this”.

Having experienced  Life between Life regression sessions (Andy Tomlinson) and many years of past-life work, this has given me a wonderful connection to the Soul World. I also participated, as a ‘subject’ in one of Andy’s books on Life Between Lives, where I was regressed and spoke on behalf of my own group of Elders who were able to answer Andy’s questions on many subjects, including the legend of Atlantis, animal souls and why we choose certain lives to work on. He wrote this book in collaboration with Ian Lawton.

This gave me a connection to that level that I have never lost. For me, that is the true meaning of Bringing Heaven to Earth, making ourselves more aware of our Soul’s existence and working at opening up to that level of awareness.

Any of Andy’s books, and especially the Books by Dr. Michael Newton, are an amazing resource if you are interested in this subject. Dr. Newton’s books opened the way for me to be able to read the Soul History and Purpose of other people. Even though it took me 17 years to do it!

I also worked with Melvyn Foey, a wonderful Network Chiropractor and Past Life Facilitator, with a practice in Winchester, and in Cornwall. With him, I undercovered the reasons why I had had so many fears around actualising my purpose in this lifetime.

I would recommend, if you are interested in learning more about yourself as a Soul, that you check out these books. It makes a Soul Reading much easier to understand if you understand how the process of living as a Soul works. The books also go into lots of detail about your guides and their function in your life, and why you chose the life you chose in the first place.

Soul Readings can be used to understand the dynamics within relationships, both family and intimate.  Once you understand the background and purpose of relationship difficulties it becomes much easier to accept them and to work through them. This understanding might also give you the courage you need to leave a damaging relationship or to work through issues that are actually there for your growth within the relationship.

Fears, gifts, talents, and ways of life can also be explained, and you might discover that you have a gift that you could be actualizing in your physical life. Your personality character is better understood once you see why you chose the circumstances in your life, and the challenges which face you.

soul

As my own guides once told me “The challenge is to overcome the challenges.” Knowing this, gave me the courage and strength to continue ‘overcoming’. Working with my Soul through past life and inter-lives work helped me enormously.

WE are so much greater than the sum of our parts!

The Ruby of the Divine Feminine.

ruby-bottleThe Ruby Energy is an energy attunement, where the Ruby Ray is anchored in your energy-field, allowing you to work with this beautiful, loving energy of the Mother.

I have written a post, on my Earth-working site, that covers my first experience of the Ruby Energy. Since then, most of my work involves the anchoring of this Ruby Light, which is the Light of the Heart of the Mother.  It is the light of the Divine Feminine consciousness, as it moves through Love, and is the energy we are most in need of today.

Since my first experience of receiving this Ruby Light, I have been sent to places where this love is the most needed. That work involved preparing the energy grids to accept the energy when it comes flooding into the grid. Old, negative beliefs around the sacred feminine, women’s power, religious beliefs, all need to be cleared from the memory banks in the energy grids. Memories remain in the ether, and they continue to exert an influence on the thinking and beliefs of the people in the surrounding areas, so they have to be cleared, and primed, before the Ruby energy can flow freely.

For countries that have patriarchal religions, this is vital, because we have been hugely misinformed about our power as women, so this now can be rectified.

There are many great teachers and channels in the world, both male and female, who work with the Divine Feminine energies, and together, we are healing the old world and building the new one. We are not removing the ‘masculine’ but bringing it back into balance, teaching that we can live in balance and harmony, both male and female together. That is the way it is supposed to be.

The Ruby energy is an important aspect of this work, for it is through Love that we can bring change. I am not talking here about romantic love, but love in its true sense, which can often feel completely the opposite to what we think love is. Working with the Love Ray of the Ruby, we have to learn all the lessons of love, and they are not quite as you think! It is not all roses and wine, although it can be.

It is also letting go; self-sacrifice, but not in a crucifixion way. Killing yourself to protect someone else is counter-productive. How can you help someone out of a hole if you are in it with them?

Learning to balance your needs with the needs of others is an act of love. Leaving people to find their own way in life, is an act of love, because you are trusting that person to work it out for themselves.

There are many ways to love, and the Ruby Ray helps us to learn that. It is not often easy, but learning the lessons of love makes you so much more effective in the world and in this world, we need to be.

Examples of Dragon/Serpent-Work.

For diary entries of work I did with Dragon energies here are some links to my earth-work site, where I recorded my earth-work journals. That is still a work in progress as the work never stops, it just gets added to. But it will give you some idea of how to work with the dragon energies, so that when you find yourself seeing them, and they’re doing unexpected things, you will know that you are, in fact, an absolutely sane and rational human being!

The Merkaba and Attunements. A History…

orasi_iezekiil_1This morning my guides gave me the name ‘Ezekiel’.  They had given it to me the week before, when I was with Eartha, but I had forgotten it. So this morning, having been prompted again, I looked it up. I knew he was a prophet of the Hebrew tradition and that he had had a vision of a fiery wheeled chariot of God, but that was about it. However, googling him opened up some interesting information.

He was a Jewish prophet, born in 622 BC, in Israel, who had many visions of the energies of ‘God’ as he understood it. Today we might think of it as ‘The Source’, or the Universe’ etc. His first vision was that of the Merkaba, the Throne of God. We think of the Merkaba as a more modern energetic ‘structure’ but it has its roots in Judaism, and that tradition came originally from Egypt.

Breaking down the word we know that it had its origins in Egypt, in the priestess/priest training. Mer-Ka-Ba.  Mer is the personality, the Human Will, in Egyptian language. It is our personality, with all of its desires and cravings, etc. It also is the symbol of the Hoe, which was used to create the foundations of the temples. The Ka is our Spirit body. That part of us that can leave the physical body at will and wanders around doing work in places which we cannot reach, but it is always connected to us. It contains our ancient knowledge and training, garnered through prior temple lifetimes, in many cultures. The Ba is our Soul awareness, our connection to All That Is, and that part of us which learns through our Human experiences. So the Merkaba is our ‘Whole Self’, capable of living in multi-dimensional realities. Once we have learned to work within these multi-dimensional fields we can expand ourselves and work in many dimensions, both earth-based and Universal.

I think that is why it was known as the Chariot. We have to have all of our humanness, and our soul selves, under control, moving in one direction. We have to be able to move in the Direction of our Divine selves in order to work with Divine Will. We have to have the ability to work in multiple dimensions, within all kingdoms of Nature. 1795584_397458507092525_8987570543129237552_n

Merkavah mysticism was a school of early Jewish mysticism. It concerned Ascension, or ascending to heavenly palaces. Part of this mysticism concerned the Ma’aseh Merkabah, a collection of poems recited by those in the process of ascension. These hymns contained long lists of the secret names of God,and specific Angels, connected to the seven Palaces. These were recited during various rituals, involving 40 days of fasting and meditation. The meditated on the secret names, and on the ‘seals’ which were the Divine names, and he placed these ‘seals’ on various parts of his body, invoking the prince of the Torah, Yofiel, who would then ‘descend’ into the person, filling him with his Light.  Different names of God were placed on hands and feet, arms and legs, head and heart, etc. Much the same way as we pass healing/activating attunements today. That original process was taught by Moses, who had taken the Sacred energies and teachings of Ascension out of Egypt and to safety.

(But these attunements were also part of Eastern traditions, such as the process which Usui underwent in his own spiritual development and which became the system of Reiki.)ascension

Moses did his own training in the temples of Egypt, before trying to free people who were ‘slaves’ to a system of greed and power. I also believe that the Hebrew people were the remnant of Akhenaten’s people, who worshipped the  god, Aten, who was the Solar Sun, and embodied both male and female in his aspects.  Ever since I began my own spiritual journey I have always had a connection to Egypt and Moses, although I did not understand it at the time. I had many outer-body experiences, where I was communicating with Moses and an Egyptian pharaoh. I had no idea what it was about, but my Soul did. I don’t want to go into spiritual fantasy here about Akhenaten, and Moses, as I don’t fully understand the relationship between them, but I know that our current system is based on that relationship.

Our three main Religions have their root in this relationship and if we are to undo the negative outgrowths of these religions we have to go back to the beginning and weed out negative human influences, bringing back the teachings to balance and to their original intention. I think that is why we have to heal ourselves of our human desires and small Will, in favour of service and following our Divine Will. We have to bring our small self under control, without demonising it. It is, after all,  the only way that Divinity can manifest its vision! Our human self is the medium of expression, which is why it is important that we do our best to clear it of our own personal desires, our ‘Mer-self’, and to build ourselves anew, without denying our darkness. We need to go into our own darkness in order to heal it. Denying its existence in favour of ‘Ascension’ is counter-productive. One is part of the other.

What I find interesting in all of this is that we are effectively following an Ancient Egyptian spiritual tradition and an Ancient Japanese tradition too! Both traditions incorporate an attunement, or Reiju, to pass energy, although the Egyptian/Judaic one seems to be a self-initiated one, under the guidance of a senior teacher. What is also important to remember, is that in that ancient Egyptian/Hebrew tradition, the attunements were connected to the Ascension process and Merkaba development.

Mikao Usui too received his teachings from a spiritual source, which he then passed on others, working with them for many years, as do a number of other systems, such as Magnified Healing. Nothing we are doing is original, but is based on spiritual practices that have been in existence for thousands of years! The only thing that changes is the language!

Brisingamen by Thorskegga Thorn. (Commentary is mine)

Commentary.
My guides had, for months, been bringing my attention to this story which I only now understand. This version describes it better than any other version I have read so far.
This story is about the Goddess Path and how each sacred relationship, no matter how difficult, adds another ‘power’ to your already created necklace of life experience and wisdom. As a Priestess learns to be the Goddess, which is a lifelong path once embarked upon, relationships become very different. Often they are very difficult emotionally and one cannot apply ‘normal’ rationale to them. When I say ‘normal’ I mean within self-development terms. They can feel abusive, painful, co-dependent and downright unbearable sometimes but they have to be ‘undergone’ in order to gain the prize, becoming the Divine Feminine. They often have a strong karmic element to them and are mainly to do with service to the planet and to Humanity. There is a very definite feel of when you are ready to release the relationship and your karmic work is done. The gifts to come out of these relationships make you stronger, with more self-knowledge and with gifts of healing and abundance. They often facilitate your work and development in material terms, depending on what you need to develop. But you have to give some part of yourself to the relationship in order to gain the deep healing and gifts.
This path is the Old path, as told in the story, but only the strongest of women, women who are undergoing, a deep underworld journey themselves, can stay with them. In the initial stages you are aware that this is a healing journey but as you go further it becomes more and more about the anchoring the Goddess energy in your self. Becoming one with her. Each of these relationships are gone into very consciously and under guidance and run contrary to everything we are taught in our self-development. It is only when we have reached a certain point in our development that we can undertake these relationships at all. It is a very powerful process of Anchoring the Goddess consciousness in ourselves so that the male consciousness can be healed. At the end of this process the Goddess can then join with her consort, bringing all her gifts and skills with her to lighten the earth and its people, with him. In the beginning he does not recognise her but eventually he sees her gifts and knows.
Each dwarf in this story is one such relationship and the Goddess Freya goes into each willingly even though it is painful but in doing so she gains something which helps her in her role as Goddess. This happens when the Goddess consciousness is rising again as it is now. Each one brings his own challenges and gifts but without making these sacrifices she knows that she will not succeed in her path of Being the Goddess, and the world will not receive her gifts.
BRISINGAMEN.
Two fair goddesses sat close by the weaving loom, the Vanir queen and Beyla, the mead maker. Freyja frowned, concentrating on the half image of woven silk before her, eager to complete her work. Freyja hoped to have the tapestry on the wall of the ale hall before her brother returned. She sighed, ‘tapestries take so long’ she mused, ‘even for goddesses’ ! Freyr stood before her in the shining silks, sword raised in triumph, the earth dragon dead at his feet, ancient days, at the beginning of the world. Freyja reached for another skein and twined the thread into the weaving.
Suddenly Freyja’s concentration was broken as her brother ran into her chamber, a boyish smile on his face and a golden boar trotting at his side. Freyja stared in disbelief, the boar shone like the sun and gazed at her with large and intelligent eyes. Beyla leaped up with delight, scattering her tools. “Isn’t he wonderful ?” Freyr cried happily, “the dwarves made him for me ! And this as well !”, Freyr pulled a small wooden object from his purse. Freyja, still somewhat taken aback by the boars appearance, took it from his hand, and was shocked to be holding a miniature battleship, perfect in every detail..
“Why ” was all the Vanadis could say.
“Oh, it was some knavery of Loki’s, but the dwarves were honoured to make treasures for all the gods. Thor’s got a lovely hammer.
“And what did they make for me” asked Freyja.
Freyr’s face fell, ” Er, nothing dear, maybe Loki forgot to mention you”.
“We will soon see about that” Freyja said coldly, and demanded to know the names of the dwarven smiths. The nervous Freyr told all he know and watched his beloved snatch her feather cloak and hurtle angrily into the air in falcon form.
“Ah, women !”, Freyr sighed, grinning sheepishly down at the boar who oinked in agreement.
Far away in the lands of men, a storm thrashed at the wings of a struggling falcon. Thor was enjoying his new hammer and Freyja’s weather spells weren’t having any effect on the tempest. Freyja was in a black mood when she landed in the dwarves’ cave mouth. Freyja shrugged off the cloak and wrung out its’ sodden feathers, and magicked her damp hair and clothes back to respectability. She set off down the stone tunnels with a determined and dangerous stride.
Far beneath the ground, where the sun’s light could never reach, Freyja found the dwarves she was searching for. They were exhausted from their recent endeavours, drunk with good ale and half heartedly arguing the finer points of metallurgy. Freyja demanded her share of the treasures that had been made for the other gods. The dwarves groaned “Come back next week” said one.
“If I even see another set of bellows before the month’s end, I’ll die” said another.
Freyja was not prepared to wait and screamed at the dwarves: “You have no honour for the goddesses !” she cried, “You should be ashamed !”.
The master smith Eitri grinned up at Freyja through hazy drunken eyes, “Be fair madam, you will get no work out of us today but there are four brothers nearby who will gladly make you a treasure, but it will cost you dear.
“I will pay if I must” Freyja muttered. Eitri gave her directions and the goddess strode off, determined to find a treasure to match the others. The dark tunnels took Freyja further and further from the world of men and finally she came to the forge Eitri had described. The dwarves were working here, their hammers clattering and echoing around the vaulted ceiling. The fire of the forge reflected on their pale, corpselike faces and Freyja shuddered at the sight. One dwarf looked up and gasped at the visitor, the first woman these low dwellers had ever seen.
Freyja walked in haughtily, well aware of the effect her firelit beauty was having on the smiths. “I have come to commission a treasure from you. Are you aware of the gifts made so recently forthe gods ?” “Aahh”;, hissed one of the smiths, “gifts given freely, the unskilled work of amateurs !”.
“You can do better ?”;, asked Freyja.
“We can, if you are prepared to pay”.
“I am”, Freyja replied.
“Then we will set to work, and when the treasure is finished we can discuss what is due”. The dwarves whispered amongst themselves and then set to work, stoked the fire into a towering searing blaze, pumped hard at the bellows, poured liquid gold from crucibles and hammered busily. Content that she would return with a prize worthy of a goddess, Freyja relaxed away from the scorching heat of the forge.
After an hour the fire died down and the dwarves brought their work to Freyja for inspection, between them they held a glittering and elaborate necklace of gold and amber, intricate beyond belief and of unsurpassed beauty. Freyja was filled with an uncontrollable desire to own the jewels, and asked what she owed them for their work. The dwarves grinned and said “We want you”.
“What ?”, Freyja sobbed in horror, aching with desire for the necklace, “you expect me to live in this hole ?”.
“Nay”, answered one of the dwarves,”only for four days, one with each of us”. Freyja was filled with disgust at the very sight of the pale smiths, but she had to have the necklace, after a few minutes thought she consented.
The ugliest dwarf grabbed the necklace and shooed his brothers away, he turned to the goddess and said “Lady, my name is Alfrigg. Will you honour your promise and lie with me until the forge is cold ?” .
“I will honour my promise” Freyja replied. Alfrigg held out the necklace and gestured for Freyja to bend down so he could fasten it round her neck. The dwarf arranged the jewels in three tiers and Freyja was overjoyed at having the treasure about her shoulders. She smiled at the dwarf in pure pleasure, seeing not his ugliness but the skill which had crafted the gorgeous necklace and loved him for it. She untied her belt, unfastened the golden pins securing her gown and let it fall softly to the floor. The dwarf shuddered with desire for the naked goddess standing before him in the firelight, the gold and amber sparkling above her breasts and her smooth skin reflecting the embers’ glow. Freyja knelt down in front of him and kissed his lips warmly, then pulled his face against her bosom. Alfrigg squealed with delight and kneaded her breasts as she pulled off his breeches. She lay down and drew him to her.
The embers were cooling and Alfrigg lay exhausted in Freyja’s arms. “Never has such pleasure been known in the dwarven halls”, sighed the dwarf. “Because you gave yourself to me so completely I will add a gift of dwarven magic to your prize”, Alfrigg stroked the necklace and spoke charms of power over it. “No man you desire will resist you while you wear this necklace, no magic will defend them against you, even the gods will be brought to their knees with lust for you”.
The cavern had grown cold and Alfrigg helped the goddess into her gown. Time passed and Alfrigg’s brothers returned, they relit the forge fire and stoked the flames into a roaring blaze. The stockiest of the dwarves declared himself to be next and ordered his brothers out of the room.
“I am Dvalin”, the dwarf declared, “and you are mine until the fire grows cold”. The dwarf leaped at Freyja with astonishing strength and tore her dress from her. He pummelled her breasts roughly so she gasped with pain. He bit her nipples and entered her, clawing at her woman hood with his fingers. The hours of abuse passed slowly for Freyja, but she lay for him without complaint, thinking always of the necklace heavy on her neck, and the power it now contained.
Eventually the fire cooled and the breathless Dvalin ceased his rough play. The dwarf grinned at her, saying “because you gave yourself to me so completely I will add my own magic to your prize”. Dvalin, all fury gone, stroked the necklace gently and spoke dwarven charms. “No warrior you admire will fail to please you while you wear this necklace. No army you support will fail on the battlefield. No fallen warrior will resist your call and no magic of men or gods will prevent you”. Dvalin put blankets around the goddess and held her tenderly as the fire died. The brothers returned and kindled the fire, piling the fuel high.
The third dwarf claimed the right to lie with Freyja, and his fellows left the room. “I am Berling”, the dwarf declared, “will you love me as you loved Alfrigg, my brother ?”. Freyja was still sore and weary from Dvalin’s attentions but, determined to settle her debt for the fabulous necklace, nodded. She let the blankets fall from her shoulders and the dwarf marvelled at her naked beauty. The dwarf gently pulled Freyja to her knees, the better to reach her with his short stature. He kissed her, then explored her body slowly and passionately with his tongue, encouraged by Freyja’s gasps of pleasure as he suckled at her nipples. Finally he supped from Freyja’s chalice, the goddess moaned with joy, after Dvalin’s harsh lovemaking, this was bliss.
“Will you do the same for me ?” asked Berling. Freyja nodded again and pulled the dwarf’s shirt over his head, only to check in horror, for Berling’s body was covered in festering scabs. Freyja concentrated hard on the necklace, on beloved Freyr, fair Vanaheim and all she held dear and returned the dwarf’s attentions. The pus from his wounds was foul in her mouth but she took care to repay him fairly. Berling screamed as Freyja bought him to the heights of passion, and then he lay in her arms, gasping for breath.
Once he had recovered the dwarf gazed up at the goddess in admiration. “Only the bravest of women could have embraced a wretch like me. Because you gave yourself to me so completely I will add my own magic to your prize”. Berling stroked the necklace and muttered his dwarven charms. “You will have the might to overcome all illness while you wear this necklace. No curse will prevent you. Death itself no barrier to your healing”. Freyja laughed with happiness and wove charms around the dwarf. By the end of her song there was no sign of his wounds. She held Berling in her arms until the fire burned low, and the dwarf rose to wrap her in blankets and furs.
In the deep cavern, the sunless hours passed and the other dwarves returned to the forge and rebuilt the fire. The fourth brother seemed most reluctant to claim his rights and hung back. His comrades laughed at him and left crying shouts of encouragement. “What is your name ?”, asked Freyja, smiling with amusement at his nervousness.
“Grerr”, the dwarf mumbled staring at his feet.
“Don’t you want me ?” asked Freyja.
Grerr was very short, even for a dwarf, and clearly lacked the confidence of his brothers. “If you don’t want to do this”, Grerr stammered, “you don’t have to – I won’t tell them”. Freyja frowned, was he unwilling, or suffering a virgin’s nightmares of impotency ? Freyja owed a debt to this dwarf, and her pride would not see an oath broken lightly. Using her magic she reached out to Grerr’s mind, and felt it full of lust and fear of failure. Grerr thought himself unworthy of a goddess and it would take a strong charm to restore his confidence.
Freyja drew the dwarf to her and let the blankets fall from around her shoulders. Grerr stared up at her, in helpless reverence of the unreachable divinity before him. Freyja willed him to desire her body and the necklace burned brighter around her shoulders. The dwarf’s uncertainty snapped and he leapt into her arms and buried his mouth into her bosom. Freyja held the dwarf, scarcely larger than a child , to her breast as he suckled with the passion of a man. She lay down for him and Grerr, the virgin, mounted her like a veteran. The forge fire slowly dwindled and Grerr pulled the blankets back around Freyja to keep her warm. “You repaid me faithfully”, the dwarf said proudly, “Because you honoured your debt when you could have shunned me, I will add my own magic to your prize”.
Grerr stroked the necklace and sang his charms. “Your beasts and the beasts of your friends will be fertile when you wear this necklace. The ground where your feet fall will yield the best of crops and flowers. No woman you love dearly will want for a child”.
Grerr’s brothers returned and gathered to bid Freyja farewell. The goddess hugged them all in turn, thanking them for the wondrous necklace and their priceless gifts. She retrieved her falcon feather cloak and followed the tunnels back to the sunlit lands. At the cavern’s entrance she paused, the storm was long over and after the dim forge the light was overwhelming. Freyja stood triumphant, enjoying the warm sun on her naked skin, the wind in her hair, and the weight of the necklace on her shoulders. Vanaheim’s call was strong after so long away. She threw the falcon feather cloak around her shoulders and soared into the sky.
Freyr sat miserably in the meadows of Vanaheim, his beloved had been gone for days and he pined for her company. His gold bristled boar lay beside him in the sun, rivalling its brilliance. A hawk’s cry broke the stillness and the boar rose onto his forelegs and grunted a welcome to the swooping bird. Freyja let the falcon’s form drop away as she alighted before her brother. Freyr stared at the goddess he thought he knew so well. She wore a necklace that put the sun, moon and stars to shame, wild flowers sprang from the turf where she walked towards him and she kindled a lust in him that seared him to his very soul. Freyja embraced him and he wept for joy.

Eve’s Garden.

Replying to a status update on Facebook I decided that my reply needed some expanding. The poster was describing her experience of spiritual expansion and she spoke about the Garden of Eden. Having been brought up as a Catholic in a convent we were taught the story of Adam and Eve and the tree in the Garden of Eden. Needless to say, when I was  6 years old I didn’t question the wisdom of the nuns. After all, they were closer to God than I was.

Eve in the Tree. John Coates.

…or maybe not! As I developed as a healer, and worked more and more on the meaning of myth, often I would awaken from sleep with ‘realisations’. One morning I awoke with the image of a naked Eve standing on the roots of a large tree, with an apple in her hand, and she had a serpent entwined around her body. But this was not the Christian Eve. This was the Mother Goddess, a far more ancient version than the Christian vision.  The ‘knowing’ that went with this picture was this: Eve represented the Mother of Creation, nature, that which fed us and sustained our physical bodies. The apple that she was offering to mankind/Adam, was her wisdom and knowledge of the Divine Feminine; The path of the Mother. Divine Love. The serpent was the energy which flowed through the earth, it brought fertility to the land, and fed the people and all that lived upon it. The tree was the Tree of Life. Not in the way the Jewish people understood it, but as the vehicle through which the apples of knowledge might be brought to humanity. The tree was life. It was only through living a physical life, experiencing the whole range of emotions, and life events, that we can truly grow.

Eve: the Primordial Mother. Adam: humanity.

We do not grow by forever being out of our bodies, and in our minds; that growth is limited. The wisdom of the Mother therefore is the Mystery of Life, birth, death and everything in between. Our sacredness is experienced through our bodies. It is in the experience of living that we face our greatest challenges and experience our greatest joys. Through the realm of emotion we learn to overcome fear and to rise into our soul awareness, instilling in ourselves the flow of Divine Providence. The Mother is Abundance.

Isis as a tree giving food and water to to a man and his wife.

In Ancient Egypt, the Mother Goddess Isis was represented by the Sycamore Tree which fed the Pharaoh and his family. But Isis, and Osiris, are said to have been born of Lusaaset, (The Great One who comes forth). She was the Grandmother of the Deities, and she too was an Acacia tree. She was the Goddess of Creation.

But why trees? Apart from the obvious link to the fact that they do provide life to humans in the form of food, syrup, water, and wood? Well, the answer to this also came in the shape of a ‘morning realisation’. I awoke, on another morning, with an image of the Kabbalah, the Jewish Tree of life superimposed on Egypt!

The Tree of Life.

While I was walking to work later that morning I had another image. The central ‘trunk’ of this tree was the Nile River, feeding the entire tree. The Branch containing the three spheres Hod, Gevurah and Binah were the Goddess Isis, the Divine Feminine. The opposite three, on the other branch was Osiris, the Divine Masculine. The Tree of life, in the Jewish tradition represented creation and the Divine Balance between the feminine and the masculine. But that wasn’t all. Each sphere represented a sacred place on the map of Egypt. The Isis spheres representing sites which were predominantly female and the Osiris spheres representing sites which were masculine in their nature. The spheres along the central trunk were sites where the energies were ‘balanced’ between male and female.

Map of Egypt.

The tree was not purely an esoteric idea but a real, workable map of energy sites where, when all these sites are functioning correctly, brings balance and abundance to the country. The lines on the tree show the connections between each site as all sites are connected via a matrix of energy lines which feed the landscape and its atmosphere with the energies of the site.  It functions a little like a Mother board in a computer. Remembering that the Hebrews came from Egypt with Moses, who was a priest, it is easy to see how the sacred knowledge went with them. But somewhere along the line the information was lost and it became a purely esoteric method of connecting to the Divine. The Mother aspect having been lost somehow.

Apples of the Goddess.

This brings us back to the garden of Eden. The Garden is the Realm of the Mother in Balance with the Father. For the tree cannot exist without the life-giving sun and rain. But the Hebrews who brought the knowledge of the Tree of Life and the Garden of Eden decided that they no longer needed the Mother. They could do it all themselves, even though to begin with they obviously brought the belief in Hathor, in the form of the Golden cow with them, along with the story of Isis and the tree. But the story of Divine Harmony and Balance was distorted so that now the Divine Feminine was reduced to a tempting harlot, weak and ignorant, bringing shame to mankind and forcing their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Somehow the Hebrew God became the fearful, avenging and angry God who hated the Mother and all women of the Earth.

So what part of ‘Honour thy Father AND thy Mother’ did they not understand?

The Light and The Dark.

What do you do when the weather is fair, yet overcast?

What can you do when raging rivers threaten to disturb the natural equilibrium of your lives?
What do you do when disaster seems to lurk around every corner?
And what do you do when at every turn, obstacles to the fruition of your dreams, manifest?
What do you do when all that matters is suddenly swept away?
What do you do when life’s little jokes threaten to upset all your well-planned dreams?
What do you do?
If all of life were under your control…would you handle it differently?
Would you plan it all so very carefully that there was no room for adventure or surprise?
Would you look at your diaries everyday and think ‘where can I fit you in’?
Would you turn every opportunity into a business proposition?
Or would you instead decide that life was too precious to be organised and so turn aside from the meticulous planning of your lives?
The time has come to decide whether being in the world means being in control of it,  or allowing it to guide you.
Do the rivers ‘decide’ to flow along a particular path, or do they find their route through the obstacles and rocks in their way?
Does the tiny plant decide not to grow beneath that tarmac, thinking that it might never achieve it’s goal? Road surface is rather tricky after all!
Does the violet, which grows beneath the tree, decide that ‘this place is too dark for me. I should really grow where there is more light’.
And does the winter snow decide where it will fall?  Man only likes it’s beauty aspects, so perhaps its creative artistry is wasted on roads and buildings.
It might decide that it is too damaging after all, to fall where it will.
And yet, this is what you do every day. You allow the ‘real’ to fall away and allow only that which you think is good and right to enter your world.
But this we say to you:
Who are you to judge, in your rational minds, what is right and what is good?
How can you tell, if all that you experience comes from the ‘light’?
Think of the violet beneath the tree. Its colour is vibrant, its scent is sweet, because it grows in the shadows. Growing in the light is not its path. It cannot survive in it.
The snow too has its function. Without it your trees are not so fruitful.
Plants which need extreme cold cannot survive without it. You need it.
But if all you think about is the light you miss all of those incredible, yet painful experiences of growth.
Your soul needs the dark and the light to thrive. Just as seeds germinate in the dark so do your greatest gifts.
So who are you to think you have the right to create only the light?
Look into the darkness sometimes.
Look into the dark cellar, the steps of which grow ever darker as you move down them.
Investigate what the darkness holds for you.
Do not be afraid of it. It holds many mysteries.
If it is your fear of the dark which holds you back, investigate that too. Where does this fear come from? Confront it. Do not fear it. It is there to guide and teach you.
Remember Anubis, guide to the Underground realms. Let him guide you now through the mysteries of life and love, the darkness and the light. For they are brother and sister in truth. Not darkness and light. Reframe your perceptions of what it means to grow and you will find that your growth is accelerated, not retarded, by your journey.

Black Lotus Vision. 30 April 2015.

30 April 2015. Luxor, Egypt.
Sitting at my computer I began to feel energy coming in. I brought down the white sphere with my arms, until it was completely around me, then raised my central pillar and opened the lotus in the top of my field. Raising my arms up again I brought a sphere of Solar energy, slowly down into my energy-field.  Then I had to bring another energy up from the earth. It was a black lotus. Never had one of those beforeblack lotus! It completely folded up around me, so that I was sitting in the centre of it, with its petals closed above my head. I felt like I was in a dark cocoon, protected, but alone. I was aware of a lunar crescent at my third eye, and then the sun energy that I had brought down began to shine out of my heart, and light up the inside of the lotus.
I sat there for about 15 minutes, with just the lunar light at my forehead and the solar light in my heart. I seemed to be just shining this light. I felt like a seed in a seed pod, waiting to emerge. There seemed to be nothing I could do but wait and hold these two lights, but I felt like I was waiting for something to pass, something difficult and all I had to do was wait and hold the light.
After what seemed like ages, the petals at the top opened slightly and I could see a patch of blue sky. Again this lasted for a few minutes so I knew, that although that it was clearing ‘out there’, I still had to wait.
A few minutes later the OM symbol appeared in the blue sky above the lotus petals and I knew then that it was safe to emerge.
The next image I saw, as though I was being given an image of the future, beyond this experience of waiting, was of myself in some other place. I was living on a farm, more in my Goddess-self than my human-self. I had my arms raised to the sun. Then I knelt down and ran my hands and fingers through the soil, loving the earth, feeling my connection to its fertility.
I saw myself  walking up the trackway to the yard and I stood in the centre of it, and once again raised my arms to the sky. I became a tree, huge and green, with large fruits growing from my branches. Then people began to appear and they each plucked a fruit from the tree. They opened the fruit and it was full of seeds, like a pomegranate, rich and red and full of potential. Then each of these people took their fruit and walked out of the place in all directions, like thcobraey were walking on a giant spider-web, to all corners of the Globe. The tree reminded me of the Egyptian carvings of the Goddess in the Tree, feeding the people.
The last thing to appear was a giant Cobra, whose energy covered the entire place. She was its protector, protecting the Divine Feminine energy from all harm.
Then the energies faded.

Looks like we are going to go through quite a challenging time around here. Feels like mourning, and reminds me of when my sister died suddenly, ten years ago. I grieved, but I also knew where she was, and I knew that she was back ‘home’. So I was glad for her, but sad at the same time.. I realised that it is a person’s Soul energy that we miss when someone dies, their essence. Once they have left it is a reminder to us, on an unconscious level, that they have returned to their Soul home and we are still here! Weirdly, as a medium, I was still able to communicate with her, so I really did have to put my money where my mouth was. Did I believe in the immortality of the Soul or not? Yes, I did, and my sister helped me to really live that belief.

Now, it looks like I have to do the same again. Glad I am energetically prepared! But beyond that, is my dream, so it will be worth going through it, even if it is hard work getting there.

The Goddess Artemis in Energywork.

“Artemis was the most renowned patron of the Bee in all of Greece. As the daughter of Zeus and twin sister to Apollo, Artemis was the goddess of nature, particularly forests, hills, rocky outcroppings and rivers; all natural habitats of Bees. Artemis’s Roman equivalent was the goddess Diana, and statues of Artemis | Diana from the Anatolian city of Ephesus portray her covered in eggs, which some have identified as Bee eggs given that a typical Queen Bee will lay tens of thousands of eggs in her short lifetime. Alternatively, others believe that the abundance of small spherical objects represent bull testicles. In either case, the connection between Ephesus and the Bee is irrefutable, for “Ephesus” is thought to derive from the word “Apasas”, which was the name of the city in the Bronze Age and a pre-Greek word meaning Bee. Bees are often depicted on statues of Artemis | Diana and her headdress frequently hints at a Beehive style design.”

Often when I am working at a site, opening up vortices in the earth, bees are part of it. In Tel el Amarna, Egypt, I opened the vortex, or Gate, which had been closed when they shut down the energy of the city before Horemheb moved everyone back to Thebes. When I opened the vortex, which was in the form of a link lotus, millions of bees flew out and flew all over Egypt, collecting pollen.

On another occasion, while connecting Luxor temple with the Temple of Khonsu, bees appeared, which then turned into priestesses, who then helped me to anchor the energies. After that I saw lots of related bee energies and would often see a woman dressed in white, offering me a honey-comb, dripping with honey.

Artemis is Goddess of Nature, her nymphs inhabiting streams and rivers. Where the waters meet with the sea, an energy shift occurs. The meeting place of these waters is significant as the sea energy is different to that of the land. The river water goes through an energetic transformation as it passes into the sea.

“Archaeologist Marija Gimbutas (1921 – 1994) writes of this passage by Porphyry: “…we learn that Artemis is a bee, Melissa, and that both she and the bull belong to the moon. Hence both are connected with the idea of a periodic regeneration.  We also learn that souls are bees and that Melissa draws souls down to be born.”

 This I found very interesting!

“We also learn that souls are bees and that Melissa draws souls down to be born”. One of the things I do is I work with newborn babies. I am often in communication with them before they are born and if I am to play a part in their life purpose then they tell me how they are faring inutero. Sometimes if they have had a difficult time, I give them healing, so that they can manage this new situation. My guides explained, saying that the new souls being born into this region, are being born into new frequencies and need some help adjusting to them. Because the energy of the Earth is changing they need to be physically aligned to its newer energies. Up until the point they told me this I had been wondering why I was healing so many new-born babies. Often the babies had been born in traumatic circumstances, either prematurely, or unexpectedly, and had often not been expected to survive.  Sometimes I connect my energy to the soul of the child and ‘remind’ it of what it is has come to do. This is a particularly lovely feeling and it connects me to the child on a soul level, so that we remain connected. Artemis is also Goddess of childbirth and protector of women in labour and of young girls. Other Gaia Method healers, who have also been initiated into the Artemis temple, speak of the same experiences, of helping younger women during labour and assisting with animal birthings. It is as if we play the dual role of physical midwife and energetic midwife, birthing these new souls. I find that I play a role in the girl-child’s life up to a certain point. It is as if I am giving them the energies they need as a foundation, and then they are on their way. But I keep an eye on them from a distance!

She is the Goddess of the Wilderness and of Wild animals. But is this the natural wilderness or our human wilderness, as spoken of in the initiation into her temple? Perhaps is is both; as a reflection. Although many of us seem to become more involved in the care of animals or birds, or both.

She is a Lunar Goddess, and on the first level of her temple initiation, we are given a lunar god/goddess aspect to work with. This perhaps reflects the energies which we most need to work on in ourselves, as we shine a light into our darkness.

My very first experience of Artemis at a British site was in the North of England. You can read about that here. I was a little surprised that it was a Greek Goddess, but perhaps it was because she represented a Goddess that we no longer have a name for.

Fledgling Humanity.

For years now I have struggled with the state of humanity and I have queried the New Age and Ascension it is said that we are involved in. Much of it never made sense to me. Ascension, as we understand it in the New Age movement, is our movement into the 5th Dimension and as we ascend we experience certain symptoms, all of which feel menopausal to me! Its been a long time since I did any ascension work and even when I was undergoing Ascension initiations I was very sceptical of  much of the beliefs, which, I might add, I was expected to believe in wholeheartedly!

12Thinking back on my first experience of Ascension I remember borrowing a book on it from another student in a Tarot class I was in. Reading the book made me feel so exited, even though there was so much in there I just could not believe, such as no longer having a physical body when we ascend. It was the word Ascension that got me. After 20+ years of conscious development and healing I can see now that that word was my ‘trigger’ word, the word that would set me on my path to becoming aware.

I spent the first ten years working on my ascension. I worked on opening myself up to the highest energies possible, meditating every day and getting to know my deeper unconscious, healing intensively. It was a roller-coaster of emotions and many times it was nightmarish. But I continued learning, and developing my psychic abilities and learned to channel.  I received initiations into a number of different healing modalities and used them all on myself…always healing.

One day, my guides told me that the following year I would have to go to do something important. I would recognise it when the ‘message’ came. A year later I received it. It was in one of the New Age magazines which I received regularly and was an advert about an Ascension workshop in Egypt the following June. As soon as I read the advert I knew that this was what they had told me about the previous year. Now I had never felt any connection to Egypt at all, but many of my meditation journeys involved training beneath the Sphinx, but I just thought that it was symbolic. I felt no heart connection to Egypt nor did I ever feel any desire to visit there. But it turned out to be the start of yet another journey in my life.

It was an amazing journey and I had some very powerful experiences, but when I returned to the UK and went back to work in the new Age bookshop I worked in, I found that every spiritual belief I had about anything New Agey disappeared. It was as though that vast space I had been trying to expand into for so many years suddenly shut! At the same time I began to do Life Between Life work and this was amazing. My connection to the world of our souls, and our reasons for being incarnated on the planet in the first place, changed my life and I began to follow a different direction. All of the illusions and delusions, which were useful learning tools at the time, fell away and I was able to see ‘truth’ more easily and deceptions were no longer tolerable…my own or anyone else’s. But I was also able to see from my soul’s perspective on things, which made my choices somewhat more challenging but I felt like I had more control…at least to a point!254938_10151293612596470_453146314_n

I was still healing; that never stops, but it had become easier and I was no longer experiencing those bi-polar type highs and lows. Now my guides started to introduce new concepts and I was on my Earth Healing path. The Gaia Method started to ‘come in’ and I began exploring the consciousness of the planet. I also began working on healing the wounded male psyche. Previously I had been working on my wounded feminine self and all my counselling training had been around that, or so I thought. I had been working on my co-dependency and abuse issues for years but now my guides told me to forget everything I had learned up until now as the time had come for me to heal the wounded male,;  as I had healed enough of my own wounded male and so was prepared for this new level of work.  Really??? This has been a challenging aspect of the journey and I constantly question it, especially when my situation feels more like I am just being co-dependent,  but one night I had a dream that I was reading a message in the personal ads in a newspaper. The advert was to me and it said ‘Under normal circumstances you would be doing every thing you could to get out of situations such as this but this time we want to go into it as much as you can’. I remember waking up and thinking ‘You must be joking’! But I understood what they meant.

So for nearly 10 years I have been doing that. My work with the Gaia Method has taught me so much but moving to Egypt, and experiencing a whole different reality, a reality of abuse, poverty and disempowerment. I began to question how we see ‘reality’ in the West, realising that it is an entirely different reality to the one which I was familiar with. Then I found myself constantly questioning why messengers keep coming to Earth if humanity doesn’t learn anything, or, if they do, why do they then twist the teachings to suit themselves and their own desire for power? Life in an Islamic country is like living on another planet! I began to see the world through very different eyes and I began to think about the fact that the three main Western  ‘prophets/teachers had all emerged from the Middle East. And yet, even so, the place is a mess. People are more violent, more abusive, more crazy. I began to despair that Humanity would ever ‘get it’. And what was ascension all about anyway, as millions of people in this part of the world were no nearer ascension than the man in the moon!

goldfinch-fledgling_1274901090Then a couple of weeks ago I received some channelling which magically stopped my despair! Two words in that channelling expressed everything; fledgling humanity. Humanity is still that young! ( I should really read more often the channelling I receive!)

The planet goes through these cycles periodically and during times of greater energy messengers come to bring in more spiritually aligned ways of living. We are collectively moving into a ‘greater light’ but we will still be here, incarnating and living and loving and dying and struggling until we get it and have grown up! We are children on this Earth and we have to learn to be adults. That could take thousands of years yet. But that is alright…and also an incredible relief! We are not expected to be perfect here…now, but we are being given extra energy in which to progress a little bit faster than usual. Again, this is not the first time, Jesus came in such a time too, a time of accelerated learning potential. The Buddha, and other great, and lesser, but no less important, teachers came in times of change. That is their mission, to uplift humanity and help weed their garden! These teachers are all around us and will always be until we no longer need them.

There are groups of Guides, or Masters who I call Lords, or at least that is how they call themselves to me, who oversee the development of humanity and who work with people all over  the world to help them steer us in the right direction. They don’t feel under pressure to make us whole right now so why do we? My own expectations for humanity, and my own despair at their apparent lack of movement, has now dissipated and I feel more accepting of Time. We as a people, have a long way to go yet,  so why should I expect so much? Children have to grow and all our teachers can do is give us boundaries and guidance. The rest is up to us.

The Dark Knight.

“This is the meaning of the dark Knight, the cumulative forces of darkness manifested in one man. He challenges the Light, challenges it to grow. The flame will then either be extinguished or will grow and overcome the darkness inside.clip_image002[6]

We all have this dark knight within us, for we cannot grow without him. Many of you on this spiritual path do not wish to acknowledge the truth of his existence. You stay in the light so that the darkness cannot be touched. It can remain, dark and brooding, hidden inside you. How can you grow if you do not acknowledge your ‘Dark knight’?

It is an illusion to think that the light alone can feed you. How can the Light alone, the higher frequencies, draw you further along your path? It cannot, without its counterpart, the Dark. The Dark forces you to acknowledge your weaknesses and to put them to rights. It challenges your assumptions, your belief that all is goodness. All is not goodness, all is in temporary balance, active for periods of time.

In holding the Light you must become proficient in working with the Dark. This is true balance. Holding both energies in the palms of your hands. Light is Dark and Dark is Light. There is no other way.

Design a way now that all beings can begin to take hold of this reality. That they can, for once, recognise that everything they are holds the energies of dark and light. Only is so doing can peace be restored. It will no longer be possible for humanity to oppress those they consider to be  ‘Devils’ for they will see that the devil is indeed themselves. They are both the Light and the Dark. This is the way forward.

clip_image002

When people see that having so called ‘negative’ experiences are part of the experience on this world they will no longer fear it and run towards the Light, bringing their fears with them, turning it into darkness. Then they run from this darkness again and the cycle continues.

Try now to imagine a world where light and dark are on equal wavelengths. Where the observance and acceptance of both is the norm. This is the vision we want to instil in you. The perfect balance between the forces of good and ‘bad’. These opposing forces then become allies in this game of life, as it has done in yours. We do not say that this is easy, for we are fully aware that it is not, but it is obtainable.

Surfing The Muddy waters of the Collective Unconscious.

During a conversation on Facebook with a couple of women friends who I attuned to the Gaia Method many moons ago I realised how we were all having similar experiences and challenges; and so I decided to write this for those of you who also do the Gaia Method. I hope that if you are also having similar experience it will help you to deal with them, or at least understand and accept them as a natural part of your development.

Since coming to live in Egypt a couple of years ago I have been immersed in the emotional waters of this culture. Actually crawling along the bottom of its emotional sea would be a more accurate description! Before I moved here I had developed to a point where I felt connected and creative. I had been spiritually developing for years and had gotten to a good, powerful place in my work. I felt open and abundant, and things flowed effortlessly! That’s not to say that it was always easy, because it wasn’t. But I knew that when issues came up, or that problems arose, that everything would be fine. I felt ‘looked after’. My connection to the Mother was clear and beautiful and I was able to manifest through nature easily. Moving to Egypt however, changed all of that! My ‘guides’ did warn me that I would have to put into use every skill I had learned up until now and they were not joking!

25th may 2011. (Channelling from a year before I came.)

Spend some time this winter coming to terms with the fact that your life has now taken a new turn and must now be traversed in a different way. This way will not be easy, as you are now aware, but if you are to overcome the natural tendencies of Egyptian men to control and cajole their women then you will need to be immersed in this way of life. You will need your wits about you if you are to succeed and keep your eyes wide open as you will need to learn everything you can about this culture and how it relates to human relationships. Try not so see it through the eyes of a European woman as their beliefs differ widely from yours and your views and standpoints will not serve you here. So just look and listen and learn and you will soon know what needs changing and how you need to change. But do not despair daughter that your efforts in this arena will fall on deaf ears but persevere and you will know some peace in your life before it is ended. This we promise you to-day. Enjoy your new life and learn its language so that your life becomes the blueprint for others to follow. That is all.

During this time too I had a powerful meditation about existing in the vast space of the Universe. A beam of light from within the Universe shone into a newly released ovum, which then burst into life. The egg then travelled down the fallopian tube and into the womb, where it planted itself and grew and developed until it was ready to be born. When the baby was eventually born it was born into Egypt!

This felt like me, being reborn into a new life, but it felt more than that too. It felt like a rebirthing experience of my soul into a new life, but a life within this one.  may

My first year in Luxor was a nightmare. I had suddenly gone from feeling confident in my world to being a baby in another one. I felt raw, sensitive and extremely vulnerable, just like a newborn baby would having left its spiritual world to be born into this physical one.  I had no idea how to act, no idea of how other people acted and I couldn’t speak the language. The only ‘people’ I felt comfortable with were the two year old kids! I felt just like a baby! If my husband went out and ‘left me’ with other people I felt abandoned and scared. I had left my nice, energetic world where I understood how life worked to being born again into a harsh and unpredictable one.  There was so much ‘going on’ around me that I felt bombarded. Thinking about it I didn’t know whether I was re-experiencing my own childhood or whether it really was a kind of rebirth. I remember years ago having a session with a psychic artist and she had told me that I was living two lives in one; and that is how it felt. Instead of going through the process of dying, spending some time back in the spirit-world, and then working through what my next life would be I had skipped all of that and done it in this life instead. Saves a lot of time but I don’t know which is worse! I could very little connection with ‘upstairs’ as I was just trying to manage living here, let alone deal with missions etc.

Slowly, over the course of time, I began to manage it better. I learned, the hard way, how people operated, how they felt and how they thought. And slowly I began to feel disconnected to my ‘former life’. I began to lose large chunks of memory, thanking God that I kept extensive journals! I wasn’t forgetting people, as they are emotionally connected to me and me to them, but I could no longer remember events and where in time they happened. It was like my mind was becoming blank. I wondered if this was how a young child experienced the first few years of their new life in a new body. I remember how psychic my first granddaughter, May, was and how she knew when someone was coming or was able to read people. She gave me some very useful infor2013-09-27 09.57.56 (2)mation! Slowly she began to lose the ability, but hopefully it will come back when she is older. My own connection was dwindling too and it felt like there was just too much going on to be able to keep the connection. Life was hard work…and completely exhausting. People behaved in ways which were unbelievable to me. It was, and still is, chaotic. It took every ounce of my energy to deal with the cultural/religious/relational differences here. Because I expected people here to be the same as they were in the UK I was constantly shocked when they weren’t. Boundaries were non-existent, abuse was the norm and it was a bloody miracle they were alive at all! I couldn’t figure out how on earth they survived!

Being here brought up many of my, as yet, unhealed issues around guilt. Guilt about having money when others did not, mainly. It reminded me of my own childhood, where we were one of the wealthy families in town and others didn’t have what we had. Although I wasn’t consciously aware of it at the time I had certainly introjected it and now I was becoming aware of it. As a result I gave most of my money to help the other family members and left myself with virtually nothing, until I became ill. When I recovered a month later I realised what I was doing and why and so I changed it.

I had learned all of this back in the UK during the preceding 20 years but it was as if I had forgotten everything and had to do it all over again. I had to recreate healthy boundaries so that I was not seen as the ‘walking purse’, handing out money as though it grew on trees. I had to recognise the dynamics of family members and deal with them accordingly! What was the most difficult was dealing with the women. I had been trained in the UK as an abuse counsellor and now I was surrounded by abuse and domestic violence. It was a ‘normal’ part of life here and I had to learn to step back and not interfere, even though that was extremely difficult. I needed to be in a stronger position to do anything and I wasn’t there yet! ‘Upstairs’ constantly told me to be a witness to everything. I needed to learn it all first. I recognised that western ways of doing things do not work here and it can be the most frustrating and saddening experience witnessing all that happens and not be able to do anything about it. But I didn’t want to be a rescuer either. I know that rescuing is not necessarily always the right thing to do.    2012-12-20 16.01.53 (2)

My most important experiences here are about power and control and how women’s lives are. Mother in law issues were a nightmare and I really had to stand my ground and create strong boundaries before she learned to respect me and not treat me like she does the other women.  Having conversations with a friend in the UK, who was having similar experiences to mine, made me wonder why we were dealing with Mothers who were dysfunctional and controlling, especially with their sons and husbands. I wondered if, in the bigger picture, we were having to deal with the dysfunctional Mother, the Mother who has learned to be a survivor, rather than a nurturer. It is as though we are both healing our own issues and learning about the powerless Mother. We are after all, trying to bring back the awareness of the Great Mother and her abundance, so maybe we need to go through all aspects of the unhealed Mother and understand how she came to be so that we can heal these beliefs.

It is only now, over two years later, that I feel like I am surfacing again into the light. But it is still a struggle. I have had to let go of so many things, so many ideas and so many desires. My struggle to maintain my own core of power has been huge. During these last two years I lost it nearly completely, but it gave me great insight into how women exist and survive here. A couple of nights ago I had a vision of myself swimming from deep beneath the sea and up towards the light. By the time I got to the light I could swim in the water without being submerged in it. It is an immense struggle to follow my own spiritual leanings and to write/teach etc without being pulled by other’s needs and desires. Its like Jesus’ words to his disciples “Be in the world but not of it”. Makes perfect sense!

But we’re not out of the waters yet. Slowly slowly I swim, but I am getting there and have a couple of books ready to write now as a result. I have also discovered that I can teach the Gaia Method online and have had some beautiful experiences with that, and made some wonderful connections.

So if any of this resonates with you or you are going through similar women/power/lack of connection issues know that there is a good reason and we are all learning new stuff here. How can we bring the energy of the Mother back into the collective unconscious, and thereby into physical reality, if all we know is dysfunction, abuse and chaos. As with all healing, we have to first experience it before we can know it and heal it. Its not an easy path but there are some amazing women, young and older, who are doing some brilliant work on these levels and it warms my heart every-time we communicate and I hear how they are managing. They are brilliant. There are some great men doing it too. We know that we need to ‘get’ the Mother in all of her aspects before we can bring back the balanced Mother; and the energies are changing worldwide now, so we are certainly not alone!

We’ll get there…one day and it will all have been worthwhile.

Jhadten Jewell’s October 2013 Workshop, Chichester.

City of Light Abergavenny

City of Light Abergavenny

Just Reading Jhadten Jewell’s upcoming workshop page. I love Jhadten’s work and have done workshops with him a number of times over the years. Now that we are moving further into alignment with ourselves and our connection to Mother Earth, Jhadtens’ workshops are a wonderful way to deepen our relationship with the Earth and the Elementals.

Having worked with these energies for a number of years now I know how important it is to heal and activate these three Centres.

If you can do the workshop, do it. It will be wonderful I know. Not only are they powerful they are also light and lots of fun. Jhadten has a wonderful sense of humour and is the most compassionate and humble man I have ever met.

Embodying New Levels of Soul Energy
Connect with the New Anchor Points for Healing, and
to Embody the Energies of 2013!

The Astounding Possibilities of 2013!

Hologram for Healing the Womb.

Hologram for Healing the Womb.

In 2012, Mother Earth and our solar system moved into alignment directly with the Source of Creation. An event at the end and beginning of an era of civilisation and awareness. Though the Grand Alignment of 2012 was a zenith point, the waves of energy flowing into our realms are new and exciting, presenting possibilities never experienced on Earth before. The galactic waves of energy flowing to us now are allowing us to embody even more of our soul energy. In order for this to happen, we simply align with the current cosmic configuration and heal the layers of the womb/hara area, the heart and the pineal gland. The healing of the womb area entails the healing of our Mother’s womb, the placenta and our own womb (female), or hara space (male). This healing will be much more profound than ever before, for it is our creative centre that can now experience a full activation.

The full activation of our creative powers happens through initiations into the energies of our souls, only now available to us in 2013, and are anchored mainly through the pineal gland (third eye, consciousness, awareness), the heart and the womb/hara areas. The whales, dolphins and the angelic realms will assist us here, for each are guardians of these anchor points. The shift in our consciousness, perceptions and awareness occurs through the embodiment of these new energies. As we embody the new vibrational patterns of light (blueprints of the soul’s purpose at this time) the elemental kingdoms are able to move into these patterns of energy to not only create the new consciousness within us, but also affect the elementals in the world around us, in our daily life, and thus manifest a new reality.

Hologram for healing/activating the Placenta.

Hologram for healing/activating the Placenta.

The soul is now creating through us more fully and directly. It is important to sound into these energies to imprint them on the crystalline structures of reality in and around us, and for the transformation of our interior and exterior reality to occur in lasting and precise ways. Working with the dynamic alchemical elementals of the Whizzard Cards will assist this process greatly. The workshop is devoted to the healing necessary at this time and the initiation into the new realms of soul experience in our present incarnation. Exercises, sounding and movement will be employed to support this purpose.

The workshop will be magical, profound and great fun. I would be delighted to share this experience with you.

The Snow Goddess.

I wrote this after a trip to Iceland and just after moving back to England from Ireland. A move I did not want to make at the time, but now that I am living in Egypt I can see why it had to happen.  Looking at the ‘vision’ now I can see what it means.  I have wondered why it was the God of Summer though.  I know that there is equal balance between masculine and female energies in our Irish belief system of old but why is the God of Summer vegetation calling the Snow Goddess back? In hindsight I can see how our UK winters have been becoming colder and colder and I have believed, since this vision, that we are slowly moving back into a mini ice-age. The channelling I have received over the last few years would certainly lead me to believe this also.

But here is the vision. Tell me what you think!

Freya

Freya

20 May 2008.

As I was going to sleep I began to have visions which seemed to be about the Goddess in Iceland, (I visited there in march 08). I could see the old goddess, dressed in white but with long white straggly hair. She was shaping the ice mountains and the ice into tall cones. After a time of doing this the image changed and she was dressed in a wedding gown and was marrying the god of summer vegetation. As they stood side by side, she was the winter, white and cold. He was the summer, colourful and fertile with plants. They stood together like a picture of two seasons. She stood on the left, in my vision, and he on the right so that the seasons changed in time.
The next image was of the young goddess and she was asleep in the snow. Beside her stood a golden sleigh, filled with furs and pulled by deer. She was taken, still sleeping, from the snow and gently laid in the soft furs. The deer pulled the sleigh around and began to pull, pulling it into the sky where they disappeared into the distance, behind the sun. They seemed to be going out into the universe but it felt like a cycle of time. As it went behind the sun it would begin to turn and make its way back to the earth, but not yet! The sun became very big and bright and began to pulse heat onto the earth, melting the snows. The snows began to shrink back and melt, creating little streams of melt-water. Plants began to grow.

God of Spring.

God of Spring.

The image faded and then I saw a tall hilltop in the shape of a mound. It seemed to be green on the top, with vegetation, and snow and mist below, like it was a mixture of both. A shaman stood on top of the mound and began to call the goddess back. A freezing cold north wind began to blow and the goddess returned bringing ice and snow with her to cover the land once again. I heard ‘Lammas’ at this point.
I wasn’t sure if this was the cycle of the year or whether it was a longer cycle of time. But it was interesting that there were only two seasons. Winter and summer. Its also interesting that the goddess was pulled into the sky in a golden sleigh by deer! Mother Christmas?! I have certainly made essences with the energy of the gift-giving father who comes as Father Christmas! Both Farther and Mother bring fertility and life. just in different ways…
